Chaz and Crew were outstanding. They were on-time, professional, even fun (for a stressful day), they moved everything we needed to be moved without breaking anything and they were reasonably priced. Many people talk about how movers break things, change the terms, arrive late, etc. and Chaz and Crew are SO much better than typical movers. As a result, we had a great experience on move day. We highly recommend them. I read great reviews about them in a couple of places, and those people were right! Just want to join the chorus.

This company puts all other moving companies to shame. Plain and Simple. When I first read all of the reviews on Angies I thought to myself, are they really that good? THEY REALLY ARE THAT GOOD!! These are some of the most polite men I have ever experienced at any company ever. Their customer service is matched by their ability to get the job done, no drama. They are fast, honest, funny and they gel as a great team of incredibly hard working men. I had to beg these guys to stop and grab a slice of pizza and a water after being at my home all afternoon. I had to get a second moving truck which they didnt know ahead of time. They stayed late and unloaded that truck. No issues. Their pricing is also so amazing its almost criminal. Use Chaz and Crew. It will be the best decision you ever made.

Let me start off by saying this was by far the best moving experience I have ever had (and I have move on three or four prior occasions). I initially called Chaz & Crew after reading some fairly positive reviews on the Angie's list website. First and foremost, they were one of a select few moving services who were willing to work on a Sunday. Moreover, they didn't charge an arm and a leg simply because it was Sunday (in contrast to a few other places that I called). Chaz was not available when I first called, but I was able to reserve the specific date that I was looking for and was given a basic overview of how the process works. For those of you who are interested, Chaz & Crew essentially provide the muscle and some moving materials (blankets, hand trucks, etc.), but you have to provide the truck yourself. I was a little skeptical about the process at first, but I later found out that my skepticism was totally unwarranted. A few days prior to our scheduled move, I spoke to Chaz personally, who informed me that he and approximately 2 or 3 other individuals would be on hand to help us that day. I had also bought a deal on the Angie's List website for $100 for $150 worth of services. Chaz said that it essentially worked as a gift certificate and that $150 would simply be deducted from the final cost, which was $225 for the first two hours and $100 an hour after that. Based on the amount of stuff that we had to move, the slight distance we had to travel, and the fact that I assumed only 3 guys were coming, I estimated we would be about 5 hours or so. Boy was I wrong. Chaz showed up on time at 10:00 a.m. the morning of our move with four other guys! For the next hour and a half, my wife and I stepped aside as they all went to work, packing the U-Haul truck I had rented to perfection. Up until the last piece of furniture made it onto the truck, I doubted that we would be able to fit everything, but once again Chaz and his crew proved me wrong. They followed us to our new home and immediately began unloading the truck while we directed them from room to room. The last piece came off of the truck just before 1:00, which even allowed us to sit down and watch the opening kickoff of the Eagles game! Five guys, three hours, and two extremely happy customers! I don't plan on moving anytime soon, but when the time comes again, I will be sure to give Chaz a call. We could not have been more pleased with the way things went. The guys were absolute professionals, they did not slack or take a break the entire time (even though they were getting paid by the hour), and they were complete gentlemen. Please believe me when I tell you that you will be more than satisfied when you give them a call next time you need movers.

First, of the 4 movers contacted (identified on Angie's List), Chaz and Crew was the only one to reply that same day. The job was urgent and Chaz was able to accommodate my schedule at a very reasonable price. The price was quoted per job, not per hour. 4 movers, a van, and a car arrived early for the first pick up in center city philadelphia, (a love seat, chair and ottoman was picked up from the seller's apartment on the 28th floor). They were extremely courteous and efficient. Driving during rush hour(10 miles) we met at the 2nd stop to pick up a desk (from 2nd floor of a house) , then a 3rd stop to pick up a dresser, table, chair from 2nd floor and attic of a house, then to final destination- an apartment on the third floor, (walk up). They were prepared with blankets to protect the furniture and all pieces of furniture were moved carefully so as not to damage anything. I was not sure exactly where in each room the furniture was going to be placed, and Chaz and Crew offered and rearranged furniture several times to be sure I was satisfied with the placement. Though travel time was much longer than expected due to traffic. I was charged only the price quoted. I could not have imagined an easier move, given all of the stops we had to make. I would definitely use Chaz and Crew again, if needed. I downgraded "professionalism" only because one member of the Crew took the opportunity to smoke a cigarette during a period of downtime (waiting), and as a non-smoker was sensitive about the cloth sofa picking up the odor during handling.

Load one-bedroom apartment's furniture in PA, follow us to NJ, unload in NJ (including bed set-up, etc.)

Really an AAA+++. On time, neat, very hard working, the crew moved a bedroom downstairs, and exercise room upstairs, and a den set into another room, then put all our outdoor furniture away ... All under 2 hours. We were so pleased, and amazed. All the heavy lifting got done, and the rearranged rooms look great! Highly recommend!!

Work of loading and unloading for a local move was performed as scheduled, grade is A for everything, would definitely use them again!!!

It was really good. They did a great job. They were very very helpful. They were very nice and very professional.

A good experience overall. The fellows were friendly and trustworthy. The last few times I hired moving help I used migrant workers that I just randomly picked from the front of the hardware store in California. There aren't any migrant workers standing in front of hardware stores in New Jersey so I checked Angie's list an found these guys. They didn't work as hard as the hardware store guys but maybe it's not fair to compare. In general they listened to my requests and followed instructions without error. They were personable and I liked them. I was scared that they were going to take as long as possible because they weren't offering a flat rate for the job but asking to be paid per hour after the minimum. If I had to grade how much work they got done considering what I've seen 4 movers do in the past I think they did about a B-. That said, I wouldn't be suprised if I found out that they worked harder and faster than most movers in the Philadelphia area would have. They are the only movers I have ever used on the east coast. The owner was meticulous, great with communication and very professional. I think I would hire them again if I could get them to agree to a flat rate next time.

I needed Chaz & Crew's service for two days consecutively. I had to have a ton of things moved to a fumigation facility by a certain time and then left overnight and picked up by a certain time the next day. They were also instructed to stack all my boxes in a very particular format -- brick or pyramid stacking -- so that the fumes could circulate through everything. They were punctual and polite, very fast and very affordable. Especially for two days worth. When they picked up my stuff to return it to my new house, I felt bad and told them to just put everything in one spot but they insisted that i was the boss and they would put it wherever I needed them to. They also helped me lift and install two air conditioners that were not part of my move, but were too heavy for me to do myself. The only reason I gave them a B on communication is because I recommended their services to my family who was moving the month after me, and for my parents' move, no one responded to our numerous calls. Perhaps they were overloaded with clients, but a callback to say so would have been more professional. In my case, overall, I would give them a B+ if I could.

These are intelligent, professional, careful and helpful young men. I would ABSOLUTELY hire them again and I will recommend Chaz & Crew to my friends and family. I wish I could have tipped them a million bucks. They are knowledgeable and thoughtful and took much of the stress out of relocating. Thank you Angie's List for helping me connect with this service! How often are you at ease and laughing when people are handling your precious family antiques? They did a great job.

It went Extremely well. Funiture handled with great care and delivered without incident. Strongly recommend this crew.

The work turned out well. They were very efficient and very friendly. I would recommend them. The hardware for my refrigerator was accidentally left in their truck, and when I called them about it, they came back the same day to drop it off.

Chaz & Crew coordinated the moving assignment very well. The movers were prompt, courteous and energetic. I rented a moving van from U-haul and Chaz & Crew provide the labor. I would recommend Chaz & Crew for the actual moving but not the packing. About 75% of the packing was completed before they arrived. They helped with packing the remaining 25%. When I unpacked, I could see that Chaz & Crew were inexperienced with packing fragile items. Several pieces of my pottery and fragile items arrived broken that they had packed. My suggestion is to be sure to pack any breakables yourself before hiring Chaz & Crew to move them. In spite of my losses I would use Chaz & Crew again.

AMAZING... BEST MOVE EVER! I was initially unsure about a moving company that required you to provide your own van. However, these were the best movers I ever had and unfortunately I have moved several times recently. They took my call immediately and worked with my schedule to get a team out for a last minute move and the end of the month. They called when they were on their way and showed up on time. Four men showed up and moved everything quickly out of my old place and into my new home. The time was under the quoted time and I was NOT charged a 4 hour minimum that other moving companies charge. Everything arrived in perfect condition and was set up at my new home as requested. They returned my UHaul and even put gas in it so I wouldn't be charged extra. The best move I ever had. I have already referred them to a friend and will call they for everything I need moved in the future. :D

The crew arrived on time and started work immediately. They were professional and polite and careful with my goods. They listened to what I wanted them to do and worked accordingly. This was one of the best moving experiences I've had either local or cross country by far. Nothing damaged and they were willing to work as long as needed. I would definitely recommend and use them again without hesitation.

Provider communicated well before showing up, was on time, brought enough people for the job. All were courteous, professional, handled my things carefully, and worked well--very efficient. I'd definitely use them again if I needed to.

We had 4-member crew showed up on time as promised, and all of them were really organized and efficient in what they do. They load the truck and after 450 miles later, everything hold together and in its original condition. Very impressive work by the crew. Will definitely recommend them to others.

It was difficult to get them to return my call and e-mail. Overall, they were ok.

These guys are awesome. They arrived on time (a few minutes early), all introduced themselves and were so polite. They amazingly got basically all 7 rooms of stuff into a POD, which we figured may not even hold 3/4 of it. They are great at packing well, take care of your belongings, and are really nice guys. They all seem to really enjoy working together and were actually enjoying their work, which I love. We will absolutely use them to help us unload once we close on our new house. Also, they are incredibly fast!

Called Chaz and Crew to move furniture from our bedroom out to our garage before a renovation- also a washer and dryer from the bathroom. We called in the morning and a crew was able to come the same afternoon. They were prompt, courteous and professional. They were careful with our furniture and arranged it neatly in the garage. We are extremely pleased and will definitely call them again and recommend them to family and friends.

Great service - on time, very professional. Men provided helpful suggestions, even re-positioned a heavy piece of exercise equipment on their own initiative when they came up with a better spot for it. Would definitely call them again.
