Castelli Roofing is a family owned and operated business. Every customer is important to us and we treat you like family. My name is Marcy and I handle every customer call. My husband, Robert is on every job. It might be time to get your roof Serviced! Servicing older roofs and new roofs is extremely important to maintain the your warranty. Most roofs should be serviced every 3 to 5 years. Special rates on Roof Services are offered this time of year. Did you know that we are OSHA 30 trained and card carrying members for OSHA 30. We are above the City of Philadelphia's L&I requirement for OSHA training. Approved Contractors under the PA Housing Finance Agency (PHFA). This is a home improvement loan at 1% interest lending homeowners from $1,000 to $10k. Did you know we are also winners of YELP in 2016 & 2017, Best of Philadelphia for 2015 and 2016 and Best of USA - Philadelphia for 2014 and 2015. Description of Work: Were prompt in responding to my request for an estimate for a roof repair for a leak on the mansard roof between second and third floor. Ended up giving me an estimate to replace whole third floor roof and claimed I never mentioned the leak (though it was clearly typed out on my Angies list request and i discussed with someone on the phone.) Made the secretary read me the estimate, so when i had questions, she was unable to answer them, having never seen my house. Was told I could get the estimate for the leak repair when they came to replace the roof. Which i was not planning on doing. Frustrating interaction.

It is always unfortunate when we cannot met a customers' expectations especially since that is our main objective. February is a crazy winter month and of course, safety is our first concern. We are not always able to do all estimates as quickly as some of our competitors since we are family owned and operated and we do not have a hard sales truck that inspects roofs all day long. Our company owner is also the person doing roof inspections and providing estimates. We give individual customer service, but sometimes cannot a customers needs or expectations in terms of how quickly we can arrive to provide an estimate. This customer requested and paid for a Roof Certification. Unfortunately, I could not get out to inspect this roof prior to the date she needed the certification. My apologies. She was given a full refund,.

We do not cover Somerdale New Jersey. I believe I did speak to a women asking if we cover that area; and I advised we do not. That is why I did not call this individual back. Response may have been a little slower later December due to the holiday schedule.

Description of Work: They installed a new rubber roof and drain pipe after consultation when I needed some repair done. They recommended a new roof was needed rather than further repairs, and I felt this was a good price. | |The communication was pretty good from the outset, although there was some miscommunication about receiving a written estimate. This was resolved quickly, however. They scheduled me in quickly and were very prompt and efficient with the work. I would definitely hire this provider again.

I am sorry we were not able to get to your roofing estimate in a timely manner or sooner than you would have preferred. As you may know, our company is "family owned and operated" which means that we do not have separate trucks that do estimates everyday. We do all estimates and work ourselves. The company you had complete the work have many trucks on the road and separate people that do only estimates and other trucks that do the work. When dealing with a smaller company, like our company, we can't always compete with the larger companies but at the same time, you get individual service and personalized customer service. I know in September a lot of people are trying to get work done before the winter months arrive and we are dealing with customers' needs everyday. I am glad you were able to get your work done and that it met your expectations. Unfortunately we are not as quick nor do we have as many employees/trucks as the big box companies.

I am sorry this customer was not satisfied with our inspection. At the time of our inspection we found the roof to be sound and no apparent issues. We do not recommend new or repair roofing if we do not see any areas that require that work. During our inspection, we did find the Air Conditioning Unit and duct work that had some leaking and we made a recommendation based on what we saw. We can only recommend work based on what we see and we do not try to sell more work than is needed. We are happy if you were able to resolve the issue you were having even if by another company. We have no bad feelings towards any other company and hope the issue you were having is now resolved to your satisfaction. Again, we can only advise on how we see the inspection. Good Luck to you.

Description of Work: I have been a long time customer of Castelli for maintenance of my roof. I recently had a problem with a leak on a deck. Over a period of 3-4 months, I have made several appointments for them to come fix the leak. Each time, they did not show and I never received a call to reschedule. I had to call each time to ask what happened. During the last phone call, Marcy was not very friendly and acted as if I had done something wrong. She still said they would come to do the work. It's been 4 weeks and he has not shown. It's unfortunate that they ruined our long term relationship with blowing off this one job.

For the record, our first call regarding the deck was on 4/14/2014. We went out on 4/21/2014 and made repairs to the metal flashing at the lower roof at NO CHARGE. At that time Robert did explain there appeared to be a problem where the vinyl roof terminates at the brick. He recommended to caulk the raglet and we advised her that we were backed up and would not be able to get out there for a few weeks due to our back log of work. It is unfortunate that it took us some time to get out there to complete this small job. We were not able to get the work done until June 16, 2014. So that was approximately 8 weeks. I do apologize for that length of time. May I point out, however, we charged her only $200 for the work and in addition -- AT NO EXTRA CHARGE we made additional repairs to the upper deck roof where we saw openings. Since it took so long to do her work, we made additional repairs AT NO EXTRA CHARGE to keep her water tight and to try to keep a satisfied customer. I am sorry she is now unhappy, however, she also has NOT made payment to me. Subsequently, after the work was completed, [member name removed] husband, Noah, called me requesting additional work to be done; so apparently, he is not so dis-satisfied.

Description of Work: needed roofing work done and also needed to ensure our windows and bay were watertight. contacted Marcy, who promptly scheduled an appt for estimate. of the two roofers i received estimates from, Castelli roofers came in a few hundred dollars more expensive, but seemed more experienced. i liked Rob's no nonsense style. he showed up on time, got it done in one day, and we were quite happy with the work.
