After finding out that my house insurance didn't cover flat roofs (Really, we all live in flat roof homes This is Philadelphia.). I tried to get my warranty honored by my previous company. Two months of useless attempts led me both frustrated and exhausted. We were moving to Chicago and needed to have the roof repaired during our absence. My husband called them from out of town. They fixed the roof the next day in our absence and provided pictures and an invoice within 24 hours. Thank you for the roof but more importantly for bringing excellence back into our consciousness. This was my first time with Angie's List and I couldn' be happier.

We had a leak that was getting worse and worse and so we called Castelli roofing for an estimate to get this repaired. We spoke to Marcy and she very courteous and worked us into the schedule around all the rain. They came out very quickly and looked over the roof and provided us a with a detailed description of the state of our roof, which was very bad. The estimate for the cost of the work and description of the materials they would be using was very quick. I appreciated the detail that was given in the estimate and allowed us to look up the products on our own and to make sure we were comparing Apples to Apples. We decided to go with Castelli based on reviews and cost and were very happy with the outcome. Despite a poor weather outlook for the week it did clear up and Marcy called me and said they would be able to do it in one day and could do it on thursday if the weather held. They arrived around 8:45am and immediately started working. They were very conscientious to not block our neighbors garages in the alley. By mid afternoon they had finished and they took pictures for us so that we could see the work which was very helpful. They also provided a roofing certificate for our insurance company and 15 year warranty on the roof. Marcy called me later that day to also discuss with me that we should put a new vent in to replace the old non functioning one. She gave me quote for it and told me that there was no rush so we had time to recover from the cost of the roof. Overall we were pleased with the work they did and will highly recommend them in the future.

I was very pleased. He advised me that I do not need a new roof. He simply repaired my roof. I would use him again and certainly recommend him.

They came out and evaluated the roof and provided a quote. They were friendly and professional. We excepted the quote and scheduled the work. They arrive right on time on a late Saturday morning. They had a crew of 3 or 4 along with Robert and got right to work. They even took before and after pictures for my insurance company. I was amazed how quickly they got the job done. When my insurance adjuster came to inspect the work he said it was an excellent job. It has been months now and no sign of any leaks. Castelli Roofing did an great job. I have Chimney repair to be done and I am going to have them do it when I schedule my first roof maintenance visit. I can highly recommend this company.

Once the leak started, I tried to get the previous roofer to come out but they never showed or even called. Castelli came and gave an estimate. I didn't even have to use a work day to stay home. I got the bill in my mailbox with all the descriptions of the job which was exactly what was described in the estimate. It has since rained a few times and not one drop of water has come through. The only thing that I can complain about is the responsiveness. There was a family emergency with the company that pushed the service back by a week. This is completely understandable but it would have been nice to receive a phone call or have a message on the answering service stating the emergency. Still, I am satisfied with the service and would use them again.

After locating Castelli Roofing on Angie's List, I contacted them since they have great ratings. I was emailed back right away by Marcy! After discussing the issue, someone was immediately sent to my house to examine the area of concern. The person was able to come when I wasn't home because he only needed to take a look at the exterior. I received the estimate soon thereafter and spoke to Marcy about what the work would entail. She told me the job could be done within two weeks or sooner. When I contacted Marcy again to set everything up, she gave me a date (within two weeks like she had said) and told me she'd call the night before to confirm. The guys came the next day and were done within an hour! Everyone was very friendly and receptive to my questions. I would definitely contact Castelli again if I need other work completed! The entire process was quick and easy!!!

They were easy to deal with, performed a quality job and the estimate was on target. They were prompt with the estimate and quickly scheduled the job once we were ready to go. They finished the job in a day just before the Christmas holiday. The only negative was cleanup: the guys left a good deal of debris behind, including long pieces of flashing and some old wood with exposed nails. All in all, though, a good experience and I would recommend them.

There was some water damage being noticed on an interior wall in our house around the chimney. Not knowing if it was the roof or chimney where the issue was located, we called a few companies to come out and give us a professional opinion. Several other companies sent someone to investigate and they all got out a ladder and climbed up to investigate the issues. They even took pics on their smart phones and showed us what they believed the damage was and what needed to be repaired. However, when the representative from Castelli came out, he did not even pull out a ladder and told us the whole front roof needed to be repaired. Needless to say, since he did not inspect the issue any closer than from the ground (we have a 2 story row-home), we did not choose Castelli to do the work. Your mileage may vary with this company but the lack of initial inspection of the problem did not leave me impressed.

I have been very satisfied in dealing with this company. I was pleasantly surprised as they started doing the work even before I sent them a down payment. The management and rapport in the company seems to be very good. If I could give them an A+ instead of an A I would!

Marcy was very responsive. Even though they don't typically work on Saturdays Robert and Jimmy came out to provide us with an estimate. While I had requested them to come out and look at a leaking window, they provided some advice on another area of our house where water had been coming in. Scheduling to get the job done was going to be difficult with our work schedules, the number of their jobs already committed to doing, the approaching Thanksgiving holiday and finding a time in between rainy days. However, Jimmy came out the day after Thanksgiving and did the job.

Everyone i dealt with from initial contact to completion was friendly and professional. The whole process was completed within a week. They arrived to check out my roof and got back to me with an estimate within 48 hours. Without having as yet received the down payment I'd mailed, they went ahead and scheduled a time to actually do the work. They were punctual and proficient. My neighbors had their roof replaces a month earlier with black rubber. I did note that not only was my cost less than $100 more, but the time spent actually doing the work was twice that of my neighbors. I was both surprised and pleased, as the people I'd consulted and the research I'd done had both indicated that the lighter, more environmentally friendly color would increase the cost by several hundred dollars. I couldn't be more pleased with how smoothly and easily the whole process was and with the quality of work done.

Overall, it went very good. I recommend them.

Scheduling was a little tough due to their workload but when we did get a timeframe they arrived as expected. Robert and his team were very good and explained what they needed to do and finished within a couple of hours. They also cleaned up well after the work was done.

They did a good job. Their responsiveness was great. They came on time and got it done. I had called three people and everybody's price was the same.

Marcy and I missed one another on the phone a couple of times but when we did catch up she arranged an inspection quickly, got right back to me with an estimate and then got the work done earlier than promised. I literally woke up one morning and found a bill put through my mail slot meaning that the work had been done without waking me up! The severe leaks I had been experiencing stopped immediately.

Unfortunately, I had a poor experience with Castelli roofing. Marcy was very nice but scheduled service that never arrived. I has multiple offers to fix my roof but chose Castelli, however, when they "no show, no called" me, I was left with a leaking roof until I could find another supplier. My roof continued to leak and there is signficant damage to my home. If Castelli would have been true to thier word (or honest that they could not make the appt), I could have avoided the damage by finding another contractor. I know they have a good reputation and I believe they deserve it, please take this review as a single instance but not to discourage using them for your project. The explanation below is certainly understandable. I have adjusted my review accordingly.......

They did not come when they said they would come. The work was satisfactory. The boss said he would come back to inpsect but he never did. They did not follow up on their promises.

Scheduling was easy. Marcy was very helpful on the phone. The Castelli team was very willing to work around our schedule. They called to confirm the evening before, and showed up right on time. They were very friendly and professional. They cleaned up while they were working, so there was no mess. And the deck looks great now! This was my second time hiring them, and they continue to be outstanding. I will be calling them for another project soon!

I found them through Angie's List. The insurance company called Castelli and provided them with all that they needed. They were very good and very helpful. I had a positive experience with them. They were professional, friendly, and punctual. The work they did was great.

Dealing with Castelli was a pleasant experience. They responded in good time to my call for service, showed up on time for the estimate and the actual job. I picked them because their estimate was the most reasonable. On the scheduled day for the job they arrived early and promptly set about their work. Robert was very clear, straightforward and professional in his assessment of the job during his estimate visit and about what they could and couldn't do. Work was done by noon and they cleaned up efficiently afterwards. My only concern was about the way they handled the $100 discount to Angie's clients advertised on the website. The discount was not visibly included in the estimate nor in the final invoice I received. I failed to specifically ask about the discunt when I initially spoke with Marcy on the phone and with Robert during his estimate visit. When I received the final invoice there was no indication of it in the paper work. When I contacted Marcy before mailing my final payment about decucting the $100, she informed me that it is her practice to automatically give the discount to Angie's members. I was surprised at that since it had not been put down on paper. I adviced her that in future she should clearly include the discount in writing in their estimates or final invoice. I was left wondering if the discount had really been applied but ended up paying the full final invoice.

After submitting a request on Angie's List to Castelli roofing (and a few other roofing companies), I received a call the next day from Marcy, with Castelli roofing. We set up an inspection and the inspector was on time and very professional. They showed up on the day of work (today) on time and completed the work in a matter of 2 hours. Again very professional, and very clean, I couldnt be happier with the service they provided. I would definately recommend them to anyone needing any kind of roof work done.

I reached the contact person right away and she said she'd send someone within the week. He arrived the next day and was able to give me an idea of what was going on. I received a call that evening with a quote, and had a team here to make repairs the following day. They were thorough and efficient, reasonably priced, and very friendly. We have had no additional problems and will definitely call Castelli Roofing again. Great quality and customer service!

We had an excellent experience with Castelli and will definitely use them again. We called them when a leak developed in our baby's room. Marcy returned my call the same day and scheduled a time for her husband to come give us an estimate the following day. As you can tell from the above description, our needs were extensive, and we felt that the price was fair. They were able to do the work quickly and bumped us up in their schedule so they could do the repairs before the next rainstorm. They showed up on time and were extremely professional. Most importantly, it rained the next day and we had no more leaks.

They did a good job. They are very responsive and did what say they would do. They did not over charge us. One thing they did was raise their price to do something but I was not okay with it and asked them for a discount. They gave me a discount. I think they were reasonable. I will use them in the future.

I was very unhappy happy with their service.
