I had the pleasure of buying (2006) and selling (2015) my home with Carol. She was very knowledgeable about areas I wanted to live in the Philly Metro area. After seeing countless places, I fell in love with a rehab in what was the Graduate Hospital area. I got engaged there. I brought my now five year-old son there as a new born. She is great with follow-up. She is great with references and great with keeping in touch. That being said, Carol helped us sell that house to another young couple who is probably on their way to having a great story, as well. If we ever move back to Philly, Carol will be first on our list to contact!

Located, showed, and helped us disentangle the complexity of homes for sale, patiently showing us over 30 homes! Effectively helped locate support people: mortgage company, inspector, electrician; and handled paperwork for purchase contract.

Carol went out of her way to get the condo sold. Due to some unusual features, the condo was very difficult to market, but she had some creative ideas to get the job done. She was always easily available by phone and email to answer any questions, and kept me informed immediately of any developments. She knows the business and the real estate environment thoroughly.

I was very fortunate to have worked with Carol as she eased my transition to Philly and properly supported me in the biggest buying decision I have made. And it did not stop once I had signed an agreement of sale, her support continued as I was making choices for the new property where she joined me to pick out the options for the house (it was a new construction). As this was the first time going through this process, I was very thankful for her advise and for going well beyond the role of a normal real estate agent. She will worked diligently to help you find a new home, to help you through the paperwork and she can also recommend many suppliers that you may need for the process (e.g. loan companies, inspection services, etc).

We were incredibly fortunate to find Carol because of her great reviews on Angie's List. From the first moment that I called her, she clearly tried to understand exactly what we were looking for in a house. She has been thorough, patient , incredibly knowledgeable, well-connected, and honest. She gave her honest assessment that the house we were interested in buying was not worth close to what the asking price was and encouraged us to put in a lower bid that reflected her educated opinion of the house's worth, even though it meant it would be harder to reach an agreement. Fortunately we were able to agree on a price. Even after our offer was accepted, Carol has acted tirelessly to help us find good contractors and designers to do some needed work on the house, putting us in contact with the many people she knows in the community. Carol is hands down the best real estate agent we came across during our home search in Philadelphia. When we first met her at one of her properties, she sat us down and shared a valuable amount of information, despite the fact that it was a holiday weekend and that she wasn't even our agent. We knew then and there that she would be the best agent to represent us in our home search. Within the first two weeks working with her, she had lined up many different possible properties that matched our strict criteria. We could not have asked for a better experience. Carol was experienced, always making good suggestions for us to consider, but also flexible, when we wanted something a particular way. She was very responsive, very professional, and did a great job of negotiating for us. She also went out of her way to set things up so that we didn't have to be at settlement despite the fact that our settlement happened very quickly and there had to be a rush on the paperwork to make it happen. Ms. Daiment has been involved in the sale/purchase of 3 properties for me and my family, and the reason I've continued to work with her is her tireless effort and constant professionalism. I realized how valuable it is to have an agent with so many years of experience in the Philadelphia market. My most recent sale was a tough one. There was a lengthy back & forth negotiation, requests for improvements, and administrative mistakes made by the sellers representatives. All the leases ended during the process, which was an added complication. Additionally, it was an international buyer with a NY attorney. The process dragged on & on. It was as stressful as it gets. Carol was there every step of the way; making phone calls, coming up with solutions, coordinating with contractors, etc. I would highly recommend her, particularly if you have a rental property (given all the complications that come with selling a property long-distance, dealing with lease issues, etc). Carol even handled my closing for me, so I didn't have to travel for 3 hours just to add my signature. Lastly, one of the more meaningful things that Carol did was give up a portion of her agent's fee when the seller and I reached an impasse in our negotiations over price. Selling or buying a home always comes with a certain amount of stress; so having such a dedicated agent like Carol made all the difference.

In one persona Carol combines uncanny knowledge of the local real estate market, no pressure approach, and easy and precise communication. With her you always know where you are in your sale or purchase process and without a doubt she will get you the best results possible under current market conditions. Ms. Diament promptly gave me names and contact info for 3 appraisers, and advised me about the necessity of getting several estimates. She had nothing to gain financially from this advice, as the appraisal is connected with a buy-out by one of the co-owners.
