Description of Work: Cut down a large sycamore tree with electrical running thru it, grounded the stump, raised canopy of another large sycamore tree, trimmed yew tree away from roof line . It was the highest priced estimate - Cahill did an excellent job.

+ -1 moreOur neighboring Bradford Pear street tree had totally invaded our front yard and had significantly grown into the PECO's street electrical service lines as well as the wires running to the two houses. The overgrowth had chafed the street line so badly that we experienced a 'loss of phase' requiring a PECO emergency service call. Branches had also grown against the homes' upper-story brick walls. In the rear, our huge male Holly tree had low-hanging branches spread in our yard as well as the properties of three neighbors. I phoned Cahill Tree Service in the afternoon, and Steven Cahill soon arrived that evening, looked at both sites, and gave his estimate. I accepted and he immediately applied for and received a permit from Philadelphia's Fairmount Park Commission necessary for the street tree work. Within several days he arrived with his crew of [I believe] three assistants and his tools and chipper. The front work was tackled first, and I was very pleased. The trimming was significant, and more than hoped for. He also trimmed and elevated our property's developing Tupelo street tree. The crew then moved to the back and did significant trimming and elevation of the Holly tree. Cahill's work was expertly done, and will last for many years. His removal of debris and clean-up was so complete that no one could ever tell he had been there. The properties now looked significantly better, and are receiving much more sunlight. I was 100% satisfied and give Cahill Tree Service a strong approval and recommendation.
