He was happy to provide an estimate or let me do the simple caulking. I appreciate Chris’s forthright honesty and as a result I will be using BuzzDuzz for my plumbing needs going forward.

+ 0 moreFirst of all, they responded quickly and showed up when they said they would, which is already a step above most. :) For the first time I used Buzz Duzz, it was for a leak in the basement that had formed a small river from the back of the house to the front. The technician looked at everything then gave me an estimate that was very fair compared to the other two companies that came to give estimates. He repaired the job and I never had another problem in the three additional years that I owned the home. Because they were so great that first time, I used them for a couple other smaller jobs as well like installing a new garbage disposal and I thought at one point that I would need to replace a pipe in the bathroom, but he figured out that the leak was coming from just a handle and it was a cheap and easy fix. I never felt like they were giving me a run for the money. In fact, they helped me save cash. I have since sold my home and moved out of town, but am thankful for the piece of mind they brought.

+ -1 moreThey responded quickly to my message and stayed in touch throughout the process which I have found is rare! The faucet and disposal are still working like a charm almost a year later. They definitely communicate better than most contractors I've come in contact with. I recently contacted them to see if they repair dishwashers, and they got back to me right away to let me know they don't, which was also helpful so I could start looking elsewhere! I would recommend Buzz Duzz to anyone.
Description of Work: Buzz Duzz came to install a new disposal and kitchen faucet. I ordered the ones I wanted from Lowes then they went to pick them up from the store and install.

I recently reached out to them again and they said it wasn't a job that they do, but they responding so quickly when other companies did not. Use them. They were good. Buzz Duzz was reliant and they also offered me a cheaper solution than I thought I needed. I would recommend them to anyone. The office also responded quickly and they were always professional! I really appreciated it.

+ 1 moreThe plumber was on time for the estimate, clearly knowledgeable of how to correct the issue I had and was quick to point out an additional plumbing issue (he said a T valve needed to be replaced with a Y valve to better control directional flow and avoid clogging) that needed to be fixed, which I happily agreed to as per the estimate. A few days later he returned and only fixed the pipe I called about, not the one he happened to point out on his own. He all but blew me off when I approached him on the issue and offered a small discount. I struggled but I got the bill adjusted to my satisfaction. I won't use them again.
Description of Work: The provider fixed a pipe in the basement where two connecting parts were coming apart.

+ -1 moreThe technician was fast, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He worked quickly, and fixed the problem. He was only able to give a 1 year warranty and the price was a bit high, given that it didn't take much time to complete the work... but I was glad to have the work done immediately, by someone who seemed to really know what he was doing. I would definitely call Buzz Duzz Plumbing again, and just hope to catch an Angie's List Deal ; )

+ 1 moreThe house heater wasn't heating the house properly and was intermittently cycling hot and cold air. Since it's about 2 1/2 years old and still under warranty, I called the manufacturer to get the contact information for warranty repair. They referred me to Buzz Duzz. The receptionist at Buzz Duzz was very professional and asked me a few troubleshooting questions. She assured me that a tech would call that afternoon when he was on his way. The tech called early that evening when he was on his way. He diagnosed the problem as a faulty valve which he would need to pick-up and replace the next morning. He recommended I turn the thermostat up overnight so the house would be warmer -- and it was. He returned the next morning and completed the work.
Description of Work: Repaired the house heater and installed a clamp to bond the gas flex to the water heater (which a different contract failed to do during installation).

Depending on the size of the job many times Buzz personally visits the site and provides advice. This specific work was scheduled and completed on time. The area was left very clean. I highly recommend them!
Description of Work: I have used Buzz for many years. In this latest service they replaced an older oil burner with a 96% efficient gas boiler system. This included removal of an indoor 225 gallon oil tank. This was in a rental property in Philadelphia.

+ 1 moreThey dug up the sidewalk with a backhoe, they put a new sewer line in, with a backup storm flap in the event of heavy rains, then they cleaned up the area and were finished in one day. They worked 8am to 3:30pm, with a very short 20 minute lunch break. Every aspect of their work was excellent.
Description of Work: CJ and his crew worked on my sewer line at 1307 Castle Ave. on April 11th. I was thrilled with his work, and that of the crew. They arrived on time, checked out all aspects of the job, CJ talked with me to inform me how they would proceed with their work, and then they got started on the job. All three plumbers were professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I immediately felt at ease, and could tell that the job was in the hands of professionals, who knew what they were doing. CJ took the time to explain each part of the process to me, which I greatly appreciated. There were several options as to how we could have the work completed and I feel that CJ gave me his most honest opnion, which was not based on the highest priced solution, but a mid priced solution that would best ensure that the sewer line was working properly. CJ had no problem with me photographing some of the stages of the process so that I could show my husband the work they did when he got home. The crew took care to not track dirt into the house, the did a dirty job of fixing a sewer line quickly, professionally, and they left the area spotless when they were finished. I will be calling BuzzDuzz with my next plumbing project or need. Likewise I will be recommending their company to my friends. Every aspect of their work was done well.
