Description of Work: The provider reviewed in detail a bathroom renovation project during a site visit, promising to respond with a proposal and estimate. The provider responded with a one line email estimate only after multiple contacts from our side. The estimate consisted of a single dollar value, with no further information - no itemized list, no indication as to what was included in the proposed activity, nothing. Completely unprofessional. The cost estimate was 4-5 times that of the provider that we ultimately went with, who provided a detailed multi-page proposal that provided extensive detail about what was included in the $10,000 renovation, and what would constitute extra costs.

I think this reviewer is confusing our company with another remodeling company that may have provided him with an estimate or misremembering our interaction. In an email correspondence with (removed member name) dated 7/11/13 I stated - "Hi (removed member name), to redo the master bath including creating a new entrance from the small bedroom/dressing room and reconfiguring the laundry area is probably going to fall in the $28-34,000 range, depending on the condition of the plumbing and wiring we uncover and the finishes selected. The design services for the bathroom would cost $800. We structure the design contract as separate from the building contract since we can't estimate the exact cost until the design process is complete. If you would like to move ahead with design I will send you a contract and we will need to set up a time for you to meet with Bronwyn and myself. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you." This is our standard operating procedure for a job like this that requires planning and design services. It would be impossible to provide a more detailed estimate for (removed member name) job without first going through a design process. At Buckminster Green we take our reputation seriously. We believe that this review does not fairly represent our company or our interactions with (removed member name). It went beautifully. Kenny Grono and his people were incredible. They did a fabulous job. Am waiting now for counter top which will be followed by tile back splash and plumbing. Couldn't say enough positive about Buckminster Green.
Description of Work: Updated kitchen in our apartment. New cork floor, quartz counter tops, subway tile back splash, a butcher block on hinges, install new appliances, new over counter LED lights with dimmer.
