+ -1 moreThe work ethic of these guys was remarkable. They worked 14 hour days in the winter at an astounding pace, and finished the roofs well within schedule. They always consulted when a decision was required (without tacking anything on to the original estimate). I waited five months to write this in order to see how tight the roof proved. Well, it's tight as a drum and the color of the roof, gutters and new dormers sides makes the house look great. In short, this is the best, most ethical contractor of any kind with whom I've ever dealt.
Description of Work: Replaced roof and gutters on main house and carriage house. Main house is a century-old Queen Ann with an extremely complex roof with turrets and some flat areas requiring rubber roofs. New flashings were installed wherever needed. Fiberglass panels replaced shingles on dormers. New sheathing and specially-milled tongue & grove cypress was provided for roof repair. House is in an historical district; roofers obtained permit without any problem or delay. When the inspector arrived and saw who was doing the roof, he said, "Just let me inspect the materials, I've dealt with these roofers before and they've proved completely reliable." When he checked later when work was in progress, he found no discrepancies.
