Ascentive LLC

This all started in dec.2009. ascentive sent e-mails regarding renewal on different programs that i purchased (PC Scan and Sweep being one of them.) The e-mails were incorrect in that i did not need to renew at that time!! I did not know that i should not have renewed, but i did. I later found out that i should not have renewed. If i remember right, i was due to renew in a few months anyway, no big deal, right?? I had talked to the cust. service rep and they apologized for the mistake and that my programs would run until the next december (2010), renewal date. Now they have sent me another renewal notice!!! When i called the cust. service rep, he said that my program,(PC scan and sweep), had expired on 5/29/10!!!!!!!!!! The date on my log-in page clearly showed December . When he was told that, he said " I am looking at your records sir, and it shows that the program expired on 5/29/10". All, in all, it quickly developed into a shouting match, after he told me that i could not talk to a supervisor. During all of this, i gave him permission to get onto my computer via some kind of remote thing and he saw that the date was december showing on my login page! I asked him if that was indeed the expiration date of my program and he said, rather irately, "yes"!! ,. But, then, he said, but i am looking at your file and your program expired on 5/29/10!!!!??? How do converse with logic like that?!?!?! I gave up and here i sit with no "PC scan and sweep" I guess that all i want is to have this program extended to dec. of 2010 and then to renew them again with no trouble. You would think, (or at least i would), that out of good customer relations they would at least extend this to dec. seeing that i have 4 of there programs already and have had some of them for a couple of years now and that this whole thing started as a result of a mistake on the part ofAscentive.
