+ -1 moreI called on 12-26-2013. left a clear and concise message. Never called me back and I thought OK, maybe they took off a few days for the holidays. If that were the case, then that information should have been on their recording. As of today 1/13/2014, I have yet to hear from them. Nothing else need be said.

+ 0 morePrompt call back the night after we submitted our claim to our home warranty contract provider. Aqua gave a time frame when they would be out between 9-12. They called to say when they were on their way! Nick and Michelle arrived and were professional and did a great job. I saw that another reviewer complained about the fee charged for the permit but I rather pay to let them handle the permit and get the job done on the spot then have to wait to get the permit myself and go through the hassle and also be without hot water. Cold showers are not fun! They were upfront about the permit fee and also made sure our hot water heater was up to code. The last one was from 1991 so we needed some safety upgrades and the price to do that was very reasonable. I would use their services in the future. I have more plumbing jobs on my list and I will call Aqua . Thanks Aqua...good customer service is hard to find in the home improvement/service industry...and you met my expectations! The call to say you were on your way...exceeded my expectations!
Description of Work: Replaced Hot Water Heater and made compliant with current code under our Home Warranty contract.

+ -1 moreWe were connected with Aqua through our home warranty company (AHS) when we reported our water heater appeared to be leaking. The replacement was approved and we were responsible for the township permit fees ($325) as well as the service fee ($60). Upon reading another review and checking our township's permits website, the "permit fees" is clearly where Aqua is making their money on home warranty jobs. We opted to simply pay the fee. As this is a home warranty job, we did not have any input on the replacement (model or energy efficiency) - a comparable model was selected for us (50 gal, electric). Being a new water heater, I expect it will be more energy efficient than our previous heater (from the early 90s). Aqua was prompt in returning our call, scheduling the evaluation, and installing a new water heater. Overall a positive experience.

+ 1 moreWe did receive a new hot water heater that was installed properly.
Description of Work: Our hot water was busted and AQua took their time responding to an emergency rated call.. I was told by the home warranty rep . I would receive a call from Aqua Plumbing to set up an appointment. No one called and when I returned home I was told they had already come to our home so now when I tried to schedule an appointment we got so much run around, we called the hone warranty company several times as well as Aqua and would be told they are on the way, well it took 2 daysd later for them to come. The contractor from Aqua told us we had to pay an exhorbitant fee for a township permit. We were first told the home warranty company imposed the fee but when a conference call was held between all parties we learned that the contractor from Aqua imposed the fee of $225. I was so grateful the Township personnel helped me and I obtained the forms online, the contractor signed them and I ended up paying only $39, what a difference. The hot water hearter was installed properly my concerns was the delay for service and contractor imposed exhorbitant fees for a permit.No I will not use them again or accept service from them. Very disappointed with t he Home warranty company as well (AHS).

Description of Work: I had to replace the goose neck on a drain and also had the faucet changed. It was for an older style faucet which maybe the reason it was expensive.

+ -1 moreJason called to set up an appointment. He came within the time frame. He looked at my water heater, confirmed it was leaking and needed to be replaced. Since the unit was so old, pipes needed to be brought up to code. Unfortunately for Jason, things did not go as planned. He went out to get the water heater and appropriate pipes. The original shut off valve kept leaking. So out went Jason again to get the appropriate valve. I really felt bad for him. The space he had to work in was small and cramped plus the fact he had problems with the original pipes and had to go out twice. Jason never complained. He cleaned up afterwards. In fact, the place is cleaner than when he came! (NO comments on my housekeeping skills, please!) He was very respectful to the rest of my house and even called on the phone because he didn't want to track dirt inside! Again, Jason did a GREAT job and went above AND beyond what I had expected.
Description of Work: Water heater was leaking water and some foreign object that looked like rubber. Put in a service call to my Home Warranty. I knew I needed some type of work done because the water heater is approximately 15-20 years old.

+ -1 moreAQUA PLUMBING DID A FAIR JOB IN REPLACING HOT WATER HEATER. THEY COVERED THE COST BECAUSE THEY RIPPED OUR FLOOR WHILE TAKING OUT OLD HOT WATER HEATER. DID NOT WAIT FOR OLD HOT WATER HEATER TO DRAIN ALL THE WAY AND LEAKED WATER ALL OVER.
Description of Work: REPLACED 50 GALLON ELECTRIC HOT WATER HEATER.
