Called Ambush and received call back 45 minutes later. He was able to fit me in schedule same day. He was friendly and knowledgable. Even showed me pictures on his phone of the larger rat he's ever caught. He explained to me that rat poison, in the home, was one of the worst things one can do given these situations; unfortunately i had already put out poison, and the rat chowed down. Anyway, Steve showed me where the signs of where the rat was 'nesting', possible entry points, and suggested i close up some siding. Although it was likely the rat was already poisoned, we laid out some traps anyway just in case he was still around. I appreciated his experience and him running through his mental checklist, and would defintely use Ambush again.

I had what looked like a lot of clover mites outside my house and on the deck, and didn't want them getting inside. A Realtor who uses a lot of termite exterminators recommended one guy, and he enthusiastically recommended Steve, since he was a termite specialist. Steve was at my house 24 hours after I called. He hesitated to spray outside because rain was in the forecast, and would wash off the spray. It took me a while to understand that he was trying to save me money...I've been lied to by so many contractors I thought he just didn't feel like doing the work in this heat. But he looked around inside and out, and told me he didn't want to waste my money spraying anywhere. I ended up trusting him, and felt that if a problem developed, he would come back. He would not take money for the service call. A polite, friendly, reassuring guy.

Steve was incredibly friendly and professional. When I initially called him and left a voicemail, he returned my call promptly and we scheduled an inspection for 48 hours later. In addition to providing us with all the information we needed to make a decision about treatment, he answered all our questions, put our minds at ease and told us exactly what we needed to do to get the house ready for him to treat. He knows what he's doing and he did a great job. We haven't had any bedbugs since his first visit. I will call him again if we have any need for an exterminator.
