Extremely well. Called on a Friday and technician came on Monday, on time. He identified the problem, showed it to me, explained what he was going to do and quoted me a price. He finished in a little bit over an hour.

Everyone was very helpful. They assisted us in selecting reliable models and gave us excellent pricing. Delivery was as scheduled and even the delivery guys were friendly and helpful. A great experience all around!

Fantastic experience! They called at 9 (when they said they would to give me a time frame) to tell me they would be there between 10 and 12. My doorbell rang at 10. They went downstairs, took care of business within 20 minutes. Found a broken bobby pin in pump (the culprit from the previous owner) and even leveled my washer. On top of it - they advised me to use a different laundry detergent for front loaders (this is my first so I didn't know). They were great - nice, prompt, and efficient. Who could ask for more?

Overall, this was one of the best experiences that I've ever had with a service company. I called the company on Monday with the problem. They agreed to come out on Wednesday and call me an hour before they would arrive so that I could meet them rather than having to wait all day for them to come. They arrived on time, the technician was friendly, courteous and professional. He identified the problem and fixed it within 30 minutes. He even had the part he needed on the truck and they were able to take credit cards which made it even more convenient.

The communication between AJ Appliance and I was excellent overall. They called early in the morning to give me the window of time in which someone would be here. The technician came on the early side of the estimated time which made me happy. He was pleasant, well-mannered, and handled the repair quickly and to my complete satisfaction. I highly recommend this fine company to anyone needing professional and quick service.

Excellent, he pointed out that it actually had not been installed correctly and really just required some minor adjustments. It was a very quick fix.

Overall the service was excellent. I called AJ Appliance on Friday to schedule an appointment for Monday for the pilot light to be relighted. I spoke to Angelo and he was very pleasant and gave me an estimate over the phone. He called Monday morning to give me a time range when the technician would be there and the technician was there during the 12:00 to 3:00pm time range. The technician throughly inspected the heater and the chimney going up from the heater and noted that the chimney needed to be cleaned. I was very happy that he inspected everything.

I called Fri and described the problem. Person I spoke to was pleasant and courteous. I was told: diagnosis would be $45, to be credited to the repair cost; replacing the ignitor would cost $120; they would be in my area Mon and would call that morning with a time. Got a call 9:30am Mon saying they would be out 11am-2pm. Carmen and Charlie arrived at 1pm, replaced the faulty ignitor; took 10 minutes. They were courteous. With tax, the repair cost $128.40: $55 for the part and $65 for labor. $65 for 10 minutes of labor seems a little steep, bu if I had done it myself it probably would have taken me a few hours to figure it out, so I consider it a fair cost for convenience. Fortunately I have the luxury of working from home, so the scheduling method was fine for me. For a custormer who has to plan ahead to be at home, this could be difficult. I had no need to ask if they could accomodate a specific time earlier than the morning of, so I don't know if they would do this.

I had a large air conditioner positioned through a brick wall that needed to be replaced. Because it was an existing opening the new air conditioner had to be the right size and the right BTUs. The unit I was replacing I had purchased on my own and it only lasted 3 years and was very noisy. I knew I needed a professional. The guys at AJ Appliance are knowledgeable and provide great service. They took all the steps necessary to get me the right unit at the right price and did a great job with the installation. They are also very responsive and timely with their information. I have used this company before for minor washer/dryer and refrigerator repairs. They have always provided excellent service.

No one ever called me back to fix the microwave. I called the company twice. When I called AJ, the operator said the company was trying to locate the part but that I should get a call back from the company within a day or so. I've waited two weeks and no one has returned my call. To be fair, the repairman demonstrated exceptional professionalism: he was prompt and quick. I realize companies make mistakes; however, my frustration stems from the added expense I incurred. When the repairman fixed the stove, we paid a service charge. Had he returned to fix the microwave, he said we would not be charged for the charge again because he did not have the part in hand to fix the microwave. Because A J never returned, I had to pay a service charge when I called another company, which responded to my call within an hour and fixed our problem within two days.

They were prompt, gave good advice, and didn't pressure me. They came within the times they said they would. They were awesome.

Didn't have to wait long for an appointment. Very friendly service people.

I found AJ through Angie's List. They were able to schedule a visit the next day. Checked out the problem and ordered the needed part. Called me two business days later when the part arrived and scheduled install for the next day. I was traveling during much of this time. It wasn't a problem for them at all. My housemate let them in for the service calls, they just did their thing, kept me informed as needed. Class act. Thanks folks.

The response to my phone call, was quick. The repairman was friendly and efficient. After he left, the belt on the dryer broke. Came back two days later and replaced that, without additional charge for service call.

They had given me an estimate over the phone without having seen the refrigerator for what I thought was the problem. When the repairman arrived, he found the problem was a bit more than I thought, which is why the estimate was lower than the actual cost. They came the day after I called and did good work at a fair price. I would recommend them.

They responded quickly when they came out. They were knowledgeable and understood the problem right away. I was pleased with the service and I think they are really great people to do business with.

A J was a very reasonable company. They were also very professional. I am very happy with them and the service they did. They knew exactly what they were talking about and the price was very reasonable as well.

We really liked AJ's when they came to give us an estimate on this work. The price quote they gave us was really reasonable. Plus, they sent out a really nice guy who gave us helpful advice on how my husband could solve the problem on his own and save us a few bucks in terms of repair work. We had called a few other companies for estimates as well and out of them all, AJ's impressed us the most. Needless to say, we will call this company for future appliance repairs before anyone else.

He was knowledgeable and efficient. They were straight up and answered all of my questions. They did not add any extra work and were done in a great amount of time.

He was very knowledgeable about the problems and vintage stoves in general. It was a pleasure to deal with them. Every other company I'd called didn't want to deal with my stove b/c of it's age...so I was thrilled that AJ Appliance was so nice, prompt and fairly priced. I would definitely recommend them.

The washer wasn't spinning. I called AJ appliance, afraid that I would have to buy a new washing machine. They came the next day and fixed the machine in less than an hour. The price was reasonable: $70 labor, $15 part, $5.95 tax.

When A J came they said the unit was beyond repair and said they would need to install a new unit. They did the shopping around and then called to give me prices and manufacturers. I had told them the unit I wanted and they purchased it and installed it. My window is an irregular size. The cost of the service was $150; the cost of the new air conditioner was $550.

Did a great job! Even found something that had been set-up wrong from the start with the compressor. Was impressed with the level of knowledge from the guys who came out.
