AJ appliance visited and assessed the dryer. They returned a week later with a new motor, but it was the wrong motor. They had to order the right one, which took another week to come in. It came in on a Friday afternoon and they couldn't come by to install it until the following week. They were not flexible with schedule, and they would only say which day they were coming and wouldn't tell me the time window until early the day of. The servicemen did their job, but AJ didn't know the correct part to order and due to scheduling they prolonged my time without a dryer for three weeks. It was a bad experience and I do not recommend them.

The work was done quickly and professionally. My only complaint was that on the dryer repair, the technician got caught up on other jobs and did not show up at the scheduled time. I was angry - I had taken off work to be there - but I was able to get the first appointment the next morning.

I LOVE AJ Appliance! Joe Pinto Sr., in giving us an estimate, listened and took us seriously and gave great suggestions on possible ways to run a high-efficiency system with venting. Joe Jr. canceled his vacation to spend a week at our house installing the system, and in the process did a classy job--in the process fixing a kitchen cabinet, running all-new gas lines, painting and powder-coating vent registers to make them attractive, and making sure everything worked smoothly, as they knew we were without heat at the beginning of winter. He was reachable and a joy to work with. Eight months later, while our water heater was still under warranty, it stopped working. Joe Jr. and an assistant came to our house three times and patiently, but persistently got the manufacturer to send us one and then another replacement part for free, instead of making us go to some authorized servicer who would have charged a couple of hundred bucks. They were terrific and didn't charge a dime--it's all part of standing by their work. Hire them for your HVAC work!

Great--extremely smooth. They gave us a 10% discount off list price, which about canceled out their charge for delivering and installing the stove.

They called back in less than 24hrs to assign a date for the repair. The technician called right on time the very next morning and provided a very narrow time frame, so I didn't have to spend all morning waiting; he came right on time, actually earlier, which was great! He was very prepared with multiple parts in case of an array of problems. He quickly diagnosed it was a water pump issue and had the part with him, just in case. He installed it and even waited long enough to run through an entire cycle to make sure it worked. Their visit fee gets incorporated right into their total repair rate. He was very punctual, professional and reasonable rate...great job!

I like them a lot. They are very responsive. I have not compared prices but they appear to be reasonable.

It was hard finding any contractor who was even interested in the job. One guy estimated $1800 for the job. AJ Appliances was a little hard to get to come and give us an estimate, but they estimated $609, made an appointment for the work and came out and did the job. They were polite, clean, professional, did a great job, reconnected it and checked for leaks and then gave us a 90 day warranty. In the end, they charged us $550 - below their estimate. We couldn't believe it!

Washer was leaking oily fluid which turned out to be engine lubricant. My dryer was making noise and shaking when on. I called them on Monday and was able to arrange a service appointment for Wednesday. They called at 8:45 a.m. as agreed to tell me the repairperson would arrive between 9 - 11 a.m. Repairman arrived at 9:35 and after looking at both the washer and dryer promptly informed me that the washer had a damaged engine with broken seal and that repairing it would cost $275. He recommended buying a new machine would be better option. Suggested running this one until it quit or start looking for a new one. The dryer turned out to be repairable. It had broken roller. In a matter of 20 minutes he had taken the machine apart replaced the roller and had it working smoothly. Overall the service was prompt, efficient and as reasonable as it gets these days for this type of work. All personnel was courteous and efficient and performed as promised.

They were on time to do the work. They were professional while they were working. I would use them in the future. They were courteous and kind. The quality of their work was good.

They came over looked at my washer, told me I needed a new one. They found me an modern version of my current one and ordered it for me. They delivered it and installed it and removed my old one. They were very professional and did good work.

Got an appointment within two days. Called the day of appointment to narrow the time window to two hours. Arrived promptly in the middle of the window. Did assessment and repair quickly and efficiently. Both men were professional and courteous, and explained nature of the repair and prospects for future problems of that nature.

I called the day before and they stated someone would call the next morning with a time. Someone called in the morning and gave a window of 2 hours and showed up within the two hours.

Rang them - said a guy would be there in an hour - guy arrived on time, fixed the washing machine, patted my dog and left - great service.

He is now helping me purchase a new oven and microwave. He is very reliable and very honest. He didn't even charge me for any of the visits, he told me since he didn't fix it that he couldn't charge me. This is really a great company! I would use them again!

I've used them in the past and had a positive experience with them, this time was not the same.

I called and they scheduled me for a 10AM appointment the next day. The serviceman was on time. As soon as I told him the problem he understood and immediately repaired the washer. The total time he was here was less than half an hour. He only charged me the $60 service fee to come to the house.
