 + -1 moreTook my order to switch from current vendor, sent me a bill - never told me they could not provide new cans as I had already returned my cans to the previous vendor. Nothing showed up - I called to inquire and was told it takes 2 weeks! First I heard that, garbage piling up in my garage. Called every day for 5 days and was told each day they would be there - garbage piling up! My neighbor also tried to switch at same time and was then told that it would take another month to deliver cans! Customer service people had to keep lying to cover the incompetence. Description of Work: I contracted Advanced Disposal 1/week trash and recycling at my home in Hatfield, PA. The telephone listing is Norristown, PA. However, Advanced Disposal is National. Today is the 2n Customer Service Call for the same issue on the earlier occasion. Each time the truck neglected to collect all the trash placed outside. I had to call to complain. They subsequently sent another truck later in the day. The telephone Customer Service Agents basically used scripted responses to defend the company lack of service. Last month they raised our price considerably. Yet, the non-performance persists. I will be canceling service and go with a competitor and suggest that they really don't care.

Description of Work: I have been using this firm for about a year since they took over a family owned trash service I used for many years. Advanced Disposal is a large corporation I believe out of Florida. They have picked up the trash as contracted but respond poorly to specific needs. An example is the failure one week to pick up recycle items. Even after I called them 3 times on 3 separate days during the week, they failed to respond and never did pick up the recycle items. Another issue has be the increase in rates since they took over my old firm. I could not recommend Advanced Disposal except for the minimum of trash needs. I'm currently looking to move my trash service needs to another firm.

Description of Work: They mis-billed me 3 times and could not get it corrected. They also missed my trash pick up twice in 2 months. I sent them emails that went unanswered. Customer service is very poor. I finally canceled and went back to my previous provider.

 + -1 moreTuesday is trash/recycle pick up....well it's supposed to be but they either skip the trash or recycle and sometimes both. They got the trash today missed the recycle and when I called in was told there was no driver. This was our 5th call in just over a week. They actually didn't get the trash last week until Saturday morning. Not only do they skip pick up they have never given us new cans. They keep saying they are bringing thgerm or they just ordered new ones. Canceled our account today! Do NOT use this company!

 + -1 moreOur original providers were G & C, and they were not bad, but then Advanced Disposal took over. Ever since then the service has been terrible. We have our trash and recycling collected once a week. Collectors have passed over our cans - which were always put out the night before, then put it off until the next pick up day next week. They say that they pick up bulk items, and we have called ahead to ask them to pick them up, but they just pass by. We have since then called every day. Still haven't picked up. Will be signing up with someone else who actually does their job.

 + -1 moreMonths ago, I signed up for a year, and in July they called and said that I owed another $25 due to them mis quoting me. I told them to send me a bill, and I must have just forgotten about it and they stopped picking up in January. I called them and they said that they never received my payment, so I mentioned that I never received the bill, which is when they told me that they don't do that. They said they would come pick up my trash and recycling can, which they still have yet to do. I will not use them again.
