very prompt. responded to my message on angie's list in less than 30 minutes. scheduled a visit 36 hours later. very communicative through text and phone. described work to be completed. had to cut through a piece of wall, and did so very neatly (making it much easier/cheaper for me to fix afterwards). tenants that lives in apartment described him as very friendly and polite

Arrived when he said he would. Quick, efficient, and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend and will use Brian again for future projects.

I agree the provider sais he was fitting into a busy morning. That said on the arranged day the provider did not show. I say this for two reasons. One I have two voice mails on said day. One of the provide stating the he was coming over and but before hanging up saying to someone in his car that the gps is all over the place. The second vm said he was outside Now I have a smaller house , was on the same floor and only one room away from the front door. so when I called him he said he pounded on the front door but no one answered so "Dude I left an I am now twenty minutes away and can't come back" . I HAVE LIVED IN THE HOUSE 16 YEARS AND NEVER EVER MISSED SOMEONE WHO KNOCKED AT ON THE DOOR .Never. Certainly not if they pound!!! .

Everything went smoothly and professionally. They were even early for the appointment, which seems to be standard practice ;-). This is my second time using these guys and have had a great experience both times.

Service was very good. They were prompt and professional.

These folks are fantastic. I called them about a variety of repairs, including replacing a hot water heater. They were responsive, punctual, quick, and knew what they were doing. While they were there, I asked advice on a variety of other potential plumbing projects, and they suggested what seem to be the most efficient solutions rather than the solutions that would cost the most. I would definitely use A1 again.

The man that came out to our house was polite and very thorough. He was attentive to detail and significantly improved the look and integrity of our bathtub area.

I was contacted by the business owner almost immediately after I purchased my "Deal" and was able to schedule the appointment for a few days later. I was also very pleased with the work done. The service person (Rob) was right on time. He was very professional and pleasant. I had all the fixtures ready for him to install so he didn't have to leave to purchase anything. He got everything done in the time allotted and cleaned up after himself. This was a pleasant experience and I would definitely recommend A1 Handyman and Home Plumbing Services in the future.

The provider was very pleasant and informative. He checked out everything in the cellar and the connection into the house. Additionally, he replaced a couple of switches that were problematic.

Brandon was gracious, professional, quick, on time and didn't make me feel embarrassed. He had to come outside of his zone and did so without complaint. This is his own business and he takes pride in everything he does and it shows. If you use him make sure that if you won't be there, you call him to cancel. We, as angies list members must treat our vendors as we would like to be treated. This plumber is awesome and I cannot say enough.

My prior disposal needed to be replaced and I decided to go with A1 Handyman due to their proximity to my house and also consistent reviews on Angie's List. I initiated communication with Brandon and confirmed a date for his services. Brandon showed up in the alloted time frame and proceeded straight to work. Upon completion, Brandon checked to ensure to leaks and cleaned up the work area. During the installation I found out that Brandon performs many tasks around the house and I'm already planning ahead for my next tasks.

A1 called me the day before to confirm and called again the morning of service to let me know he was on the way. The workmen were very quick and cordial. They answered my questions and walked me through specifically what they were doing. The installation was done in under an hour and they cleaned up after themselves. Overall great experience.

A1 is very professional. they installed the toilets in lightening speed and everything is functioning well. so far.

Well, I must say that I had a similar experience as another reviewer. I also have a home warranty and called the folks when we had a leak under the kitchen sink. So after I paid my $75 for the service call, it was determined I had a leaky faucet that wasn't covered. So, I turned to Angie's List. I found A1 Handyman & Home Plumbing Services and while I had to wait about a week for an appointment, the outcome was quite positive. It was a quick job and they were in and out of the house in under 45 minutes. Brandon was professional, personable and I will definitely use him again with future projects!

First do would be to read the fine print. I thought I read the fine print but not good enough. I had already paid $75.00 for my home warranty to send a plumber because 1 faucet had a drip and another had water run out of the side of the hot water knob when you turn it on. After paying the $75.00, that plumber came out and said my warranty did not cover faucets. I was out of $75.00 and neither faucet was fixed. As I said, read the fine print. So my next step was to go to Angie's List. I thought I did my research and I picked the first special $79.00 for two hours of work. I made the appointment a week in advance for 9 in the morning. That plumber arrived at 9:30 at night. Looked at the two faucets and quoted two outrages prices and told me he could not do the work that night. When I asked how the special worked he looked at me like I had two heads. I told him no thank you. I called the next day and asked for a refund. I was told to contact Angie's list. I did and received my refund. I also received a call to make things right but I had already purchased the special with Handyman & Home Plumbing Services. I went back to the drawing board to select another plumber. The one drip was getting worst so I used the shut off valve under the sink. Now I had water leaking under the sink as well. Next, I selected the Handyman & Home Plumbing Services special to have a faucet changed for $85.00. I read the reviews and they all sounded great. I purchased the special on line. I received an e-mail to schedule the appointment. The e-mail asked if I read the fine print which said if I lived more than 10 miles from his location, It was extra. I missed that part in the fine print. I asked how much more and the response was $65.00. I said o.k. I knew the special was for only one faucet so I asked how much for a second faucet. I was told $150.00. I said o.k. I also knew I had to buy the faucets. I did not know there were so many different choices. After three trips to the store and $240.00 later, I had 2 faucets that I thought resembled what I already had. My appointment was for 11/10. Around 1:30 I called to see if I was still on the calendar. I received a message that he thought my appointment was on 11/11. He apologized for the mix-up and my appointment as rescheduled for 11/11. When he arrived on 11/11 he went work. After he changed the first faucet, he said the special did not include changing the stopper. To change the stopper would be more. I opted not have the stoppers changed. One stopper does not work with the new faucet. After he left, I noticed the water pressure for the hot water in one bathroom was very low. I e-mailed him and asked what to do. He said turn the valve under the sink. When I did that, water went every where. So I decided to take the 2nd plumber up on his offer. The second plumber came back. He said the rubber was stuffed in the hot water valve. that is why the pressure was low coming out and water splattered every where from the valve below. When the Handyman & Home Plumbing Services followed up I told him I had another plumber come and fix the problem. His response was so its fixed.

They weren't able to do the job in the timeframe that I needed.

Brandon responded in a timely manner to all phone calls. He was very informative and helpful in all phases of the job. He was punctual, pleasant and cleaned up before he left. He did the job properly and the price was very fair. We will use him again.

Brandon and his co-worker Mike were friendly, efficient, fast, and professional. I am very satisfied with their work. There were no hidden costs, his estimate was actually slightly higher than what he charged me because he had to spend less time than he had anticipated. I highly recommend him, and would definitely call on him again for plumbing or other work that he can also do. Thanks Brandon!

The service worked out fine. There were no additional charges. There could have been but ended up with a solution. So, I think all was good.
