I called Brandon to set up an appointment. He asked if I could take photos of my pipes under my sink so he has an idea of the supplies he needs. I texted him the photos and he responded right away with what type of faucet I needed to purchase and what type of pipes he needed to replace. I got the faucet; he came with all the necessary pipes, tools, etc that needed to be replaced since my sink/pipes were very old. He texted me the night before the appointment to confirm. He arrived on time and completed the job to my satisfaction. He was neat and friendly.....and very good with my 2 dogs!! Hahahah ....if my dogs could write him a good review, I'm sure they would!

A1 responded to my initial contact speedily. I explained what I needed and asked if work could be completed within the next 3 days because I am hosting out of town guests starting Friday. Brandon told me he would try to fit me in.I also told him that I would be unable to provide replacement parts and needed him to pick up the parts . This was not a problem. After I made my needs known, Brandon told me that if I could provide measurements of the items needing replacement over the phone, it would help him to be able to save time and thus fit my job in to his already booked schedule. Well, I was clueless about measuring . Brandon was extraordinarily patient with me while I gave him incorrect measurements and struggled to understand from where to where I should measure. I was nervous and misplaced the measuring tape at one point but he was patient and kind . I think I gave him at least 3 incorrect measurements before I got it straight. Brandon gave me a quote for the job and when I accepted he provided a two hour window in which he would arrive. He and his assistant arrive punctually at the earliest time stated. I showed him the jobs, he and his polite assistant Mike started to work immediately. The work was completed swiftly, quietly, professionally and they cleaned up after themselves. I really appreciate the quick service and good work.

This company performed excellent workmanship. Although he was booked up, due to a client calling out, he fit me right in. He arrived promptly at my house with his assistant. He looked at the drip and went to the upstairs bathroom and quickly identified the problem. He immediately stopped the leak. He and his assistant performed some additional work to make sure the problem was corrected. He came downstairs and explained what he had done. Due to the nature of how long this leaking had gone on (2-3 wks) he showed me where water had accumulated and how to remedy that problem. He and his assistant did an excellent job at a very reasonable price. You cannot beat their prices or their quality of work. It has been over a week and I have had no problems. The leak was fixed as he promised to do. He really saved the day because listening to that drip day in and day out was like Chinese water torture. And every time I would go into the kitchen water would drip on me. He is extremely talented in doing all kinds of work. Once I get additional funds I will look to him to repair a horribly leaky front porch roof and porch. I am extremely grateful for the work he has done and will definitely call him in the future. Houses are always falling apart, so it is good to have a reliable company to depend on.

Brandon was great to work with, I would highly recommend him. He was punctual and made scheduling the appointment easy because he was flexible with his schedule. He was knowledgeable, had advice on an issue and troubleshooted until he found the problem. All of the work he performed works perfectly, and he really does nice finishing work. Some contractors I have seen neglect the small details, especially with the finishing work, not Brandon, he really makes it a point to leave the area perfect and better than what it was before he started working on it. For example the ceiling fan, he made sure the drywall area in the ceiling matched up perfectly with the fan itself, there were no chips or paint discolorations.

He came on time (I had the wrong date not him) , looked at the fixtures that I had purchased online and them got his tools. The access panel was covered still with wallboard which he had to remove, then had to install some new pipes before installing the new faucets. Everything looks great and works fine. He cleaned up after his work and removed any trash. I had him look at some electrical problems that I have and will use his electrician in the next few weeks to get them fixed. Very happy with the results.

First, i want to say this is the 2nd big deal faucet install i have purchased this month. The first plumber said he didn't fit in my cabinet that he couldn't do the job. I then saw this big deal and i called A1 Handyman & Home Plumbing services before i purchased to ask if there would be a problem with narrow cabinets. Brandon called me back instantly. Brandon got to my home just as he said at 9:15 AM. He was finished with the install before 10AM. The faucet was installed without any problem and looks beautiful. My tenants reported that the shower arm had cracked and that water sprayed everywhere when they turned on the only shower in the house. Brandon from A1 responded very quickly to my message and was incredibly flexible with my and my tenant's restrictive schedule. We must have gone back and forth 10 times before picking a time and Brandon was very responsive, flexible and understanding the whole time. The repair itself was quick and painless at a great price.

Brandon is stellar, he was able to come out within 48 hours of me contacting him. He gave me the two options of replacing the valve or stopping the leak for the moment. Since the valve was so old I went for replacing it. The water was cut off to the house at the sidewalk valve. Brandon took the trouble of digging all the dirt that was packed into the pipe 3-4ft deep out to get to the valve and completed the job very quickly and very well. This is the second time Brandon has done work at our place and I will absolutely keep him on speed dial for any additional work I need done! Thanks Brandon!

Mr. Nagle arrived on time and quickly removed an old bathroom sink and replaced it with a new vanity I'd bought. Throughout the process he was amicable and professional so that doing business was uncomplicated. The results totally satisfied both me and (more important) my wife.

I purchased a Big Deal for faucet replacement. I showed the provider a picture of what I needed done. The faucet is an antique, and will not qualify for the deal that I purchased. He said that he could do the work, just not for the price of the deal.

I have a number of properties in the Manyunk area, and A1 has swiftly become my go-to handyman for them. The task mentioned above was the first task A1 has completed for me. Being a new homeowner in the area, I found many handyman organization were too busy to be responsive or did shoody work. At the outset, Brandon was very responsive and accommodating to my time requirements (I work 40 miles away). Since the window completion, I have had them back to complete plumbing, light installs, and other mechanical repairs. All pricing to date has been fair and all work complete. Brandon and people who work for him are skilled, honest, and polite both in my company and that of my tenants. I feel comfortable recommending his company's to others.

I had spoken with Brandon twice before when I needed a plumber, but he was booked three weeks in advance. Both times, he was able to refer me to associates of his who were available and who were excellent. This time, I was able to wait for a cancellation and get the Big Man himself. I bought the $99 installation special for the garbage disposal. From the moment I bought the deal, Brandon was super responsive (a refreshing change from most of my previous experiences!). He called right away to set up an appointment. On the day we scheduled the work for, Brandon showed up right on time.He removed the old, rusty disposal and installed the new one. He also educated me about the reset button and key that come along with the disposal. He checked the disposal several times to make sure it was working correctly with no leaks. While he was there I thought I'd ask him to install a hose bib out front of my house. His quote was reasonable and he went around to home depot to get the materials to do the job. Brandon is friendly, knowledgeable, competent and I would HIGHLY recommend him. I will definitely use him for future needs. Thanks Brandon!

I had a slow running bathroom sink drain that multiple plumbers and contractors have looked at and tried to fix unsuccessfully. They had me convinced that I would have to start ripping out walls and floors to find the problem. Brandon watched me replicate the issue and had it figured out within two minutes. The drain was not designed to work with an aerated faucet and that was causing air bubbles to sit on the small holes on the drain and block it. He said he might be able to fix it with a drain he had on his truck but if not, he would run out and get the right one. He did end up running out and getting one that would fit but less than an hour later and I finally have a working sink drain. Great work!

Brandon is knowledgeable. My house is out of his servicing area but he is still willingly to do job for me. Unfortunately, he is so booked up and my tenant is move in in about 3 days. He is so generous to offer me to take a look remotely by sending him pictures and will advise me from there. I really appreciate his offer. Update: Turn out to be just no need to replace waste line. Brandon showed up on time on Friday, 9/5/2014. Took him about 20 min to unclog the drain and only charge me $99.00. I am very satisfied his work. Thanks. Highly recommended to others.

Brandon was great. I had seen his positive reviews on Angies' List, so I thought I would give him a try. I emailed him yesterday, telling him that we had an urgent situation with our toilet as it was clogged and needed to be plunged each time we used it. Since we only have one toilet in our house, we were hoping he could come soon. He emailed me last night that he would call this morning. He said he could come look at our toilet for $85 and fix it if something was caught inside. I mentioned that I might want to get a new one -- as the old Kohler clogged a lot and gave us troubles. He recommended the Gerber. We had a custom size -- a little smaller than standard and a small amount pricier -- so I okayed the replacement. He arrived in less than an hour with the new toilet and completed the job in less than an hour. I could not be happier.

Brandon removed the old toilet and installed a new toilet within an hour. He was prompt and informative as always!!! Excellent service!!!!

My kitchen faucet had no cold water coming out. One plumber came in and told me it's not worth repairing it. So I bought a new faucet and make an appointment with Brandon based on Angieslist deal. Brandon came to my house last week and found out the control valve was broken and he fixed it ($85). He also told us the faucet I bought was not a right one and offered to come back when I get another one. He came back again today and replace the faucet and install the soap dispenser ($99). Each time he was on time, gave me an early notice. He's very professional, got the job done quickly and cleanly and willing to give us advice. Also the price is very resonable!
