After giving my older Sears garden tractor it's yearly maintenance by replacing air filter, fuel filter, oil change and filter, fuel filter, new gas and even replaced battery. Still had very hard starting or would not start. My initial visit - They gave it a look, did a few odds and ends, plus repaired the mower deck. Brought it home. First time I tried starting it...it wouldn't. Brought it back. Second visit - They couldn't find anything wrong. It started up for them without incident. Brought it home. A few days later, again, it either wouldn't start or when it did, starter didn't sound right. Third visit - They serviced the starter. Said it tested fine. Brought it home. Unbelievably, it wouldn't start AGAIN! Brought it back. Fourth visit - Told them I'd show them it wouldn't start. Went out, turned the key, and darn it if didn't start right up. Still had them look at it because there had to be something causing this (it wasn't user error). They never could determine the problem and said they could not duplicate the issue. I gave up. Local Pottstown location had to ship it to Zieglerville facility so each time it took several days to get it back.

They told me a whole list of things that needed to be done in addition to the deck repair. One of which was that I need new blades. I knew this could not be possible as I had just replaced the blades before I took the mower to them. They charged me for the "diagnostics" that were inaccurate.

When I came to pick up my riding lawn mower I paid my bill and then went over to my mower sitting in the shop. I drove it over to my garden tractor and loaded the mower. Then I noticed that the old grass clippings and dirt was still around the base of the mower and in the engine compartment just like it was when I gave it to them. Mower looked like I had just finished mowing my acre lot. I went to the service manager and had him come over. I told him this was not the way I expected the mower to look after spending big bucks to have it put back in like new condition. They did not wash or clean it at all and when I told the service manager I did not think this was the way it should look and that I expected the mower to be clean, he said that they do not include cleaning of mowers in any repairs. I Told them that if they cannot take pride enough in their work to deliver a clean mower to a customer I will never use them again.

Great job. They are fast,quick and a good price.

I heard about Little's John Deer because my neighbor used them and they have done a great service for me.

Replace the main drive belt.
