The Gutter Guys

We've used these folks for several years. We had them replace some of our gutters and have them out twice a year to clean. We have a heavily wooded property, so we have the gutters regularly cleaned. They arrive on time, have all the equipment and also clean up around the house when they are finished on the roof. We plan to use them for all out gutter needs.

The quote was competivite and the company provided a written estimate. I was not convinced that the rain gutter leaf guards would be as effective as other designs in terms of keeping leaves out of the gutters so I went with a different design by a different company. I would recommned serious consideration for using the Gutter Guys.

I was moving out of a house and the gutter was damaged by the moving truck. I called gutter guys and they were able to repair the damage the next day!

Contractor showed up on time, The workers were curtious, They were very careful not to disturb or damage my wife's wildflower garden. They answered all questions and concerns.The work was completed in a timely fashion.

Estimator was prompt and professional and assisted in accomodating my available date for installation. Instalalation was done on date promised and in a quality manner.ding

The person who came out to talk to us and give us a price was very professional and extremely pleasant. She arrived on time and explained the process to us. The work was done on time and according to the schedule she gave us. She also called a few weeks after the job was done to see if we had any concerns or questions.

Overall a good experience, however, I the only negative things I would say are: 1. The crew was not very friendly; got the feeling they were in a race to get the job finished and are just punching the clock. 2. The price to clean the gutters was fine but not any great deal. My gut feeling says to try another company to clean my gutters next time because I will likely get a better price and the work will be most likely just as good if not better. I just felt the crew rushed my job and were not detail oriented. One last thing, I thought they were going to clean the flexible tubing that comes off my downspouts. They didn't touch them. I was a bit disappointed by that.

Called for estimate, returned call same day, came to house within 48 hours on time. Walked around house with me, gave me an estimate, set up date & time. Completed job in 1 day.

The salesman was very friendly and informed. He showed up on time and gave a quote in a few minutes. Their price was the same as competitors, but a little out of our reach. Would definitely use them in the future.

I would have given them an A, but they left some debris by some of our downspouts. That is why I lowered the price and quality to a B. In any event, they were fast in responding to our initial call, then coming out and completing the work. If they had cleaned the debris I would have givent them an A. Would still use them again.

Bob from Gutter Guys arrived on time and was very professional. He gave us an estimate for new gutters on our home and garage and also pointed out that the fascia board underneath one section of gutters was not capped with aluminum. He spent a good deal of time doing a thorough evaluation of the job. The only reason we didn't select Gutter Guys was that their price was somewhat higher than another highly rated Angie's List company. I would definitely consider using Gutter Guys in the future.

I called for an estimate and was given a date. They showed up on time and gave me a written estimate during this visit, explaining exactly what they would do. They showed up to do the work, again on time, and reviewed with me what they were going to do. Promptly completed everything, took away all the old material and reviewed the results with me. They did a few extra-care things to make sure the job was done correctly and was attractive.

Because of their professionalism, I will continue to use Gutter Guys in the future.

The initial estimate for replacing about 15' of plain white aluminum gutter was fine.There was a delay in arriving for job, when they did they told me they could not continue because there was a rotted board that supported the gutter. I agreed to the additional repair, then after replacing the board they said they could not complete the work until a roofer came down and replaced the entire roof line aluminum drip capping.So then I had to go roofer shopping, and getting even my usual roofer to come down for such a small job was nigh impossible. So the job sat unfinished for over a month, with all the rain we had just running down the side of house and making that part of the back yard a swamp. If they had told me about the rotted wood and aluminum capping in the very beginning,it would have been easier to find a roofer and avoid most of the delays. Finally, after finding a roofer who was willing to do it, the only problem was he did it in a different manner than most roofers. (This roofer's method is actually superior to the way most other roofers would do it). So more delays ensued, as it was a 3 week delay until I got the The Gutter Guys to understand what this roofer wanted to do, and so they finally relented and did it the roofer's way. The job took over two months to complete, from estimate to final installation. Overall, very aggravating, if the job had been estimated thoroughly at the very beginning, it would have took an experienced roofer 2 hours to complete the entire job.

Did a fine job; showed up when promissed; did a professional job. My only complaint is that I thought they were slightly too expensive for the job that they did, but I guess you get what you pay for, and they did do a fine job.

We were able to pick the color of the gutters/downspouts, as well. Materials were top quality. Pre-sales information was extremely helpful, giving us various options, including re-routing where the downspouts were located, bring them closer to the house, etc. Excellent service before, during, and after installation.

We called The Gutter Guys for urgent cleaning and repair work. They came promptly for an estimate, but when we were ready to go they said they would email us a contract, but we never heard anything again. They seemed professional and gave us a reasonable price, but then they disappeared. We would have understood if they couldn't meet our deadline, but they never said so, just went incommunicado

These guys are terrific and very professional. I hired them to replace my gutters on my first house (A Cape Cod). They were very knowledgeable and incredibly nice. Jason and Mike worked on the system for 4 hours total. They replaced 23 feet of rotting wood for the agreed upon price. I liked the fact that Jason explained everything to me as they worked. I would most definitely hire this company again when I replace my garage gutters.

went very well. representative came out within one week of my phone call , checked everything out, gave me a price and told me approx. when their service people would be out. the service rep. was very cordial a pleasure to deal with, no pressure. the serivce men came earlier than expected, which was fine. they came, did the work and left. would I call them again, you bet.

They were really excellent. They come out and show you exactly what you are getting. I choose them because of their high recommendations on Angie’s List and they were very good. I hadn’t realized the high quality of the product until they were finished.

The Gutter Guys were terrific from start to finish. Bill, Brad, and Dave were all prompt and polite. The cost was reasonable and the quality of the gutters and downspouts is great. Thank you!

My contractor gutter guy is very professional and prompt. He is excellent in his quote. He came out and did a quote and he gave me all sorts of information. They called before they came and arrived punctually. They did the work really quick. I would use their services again in the future.
