Pro Painters Plus LLC

Fine. Decided to go with a company that would install the new wallpaper and not just remove the old wallpaper as well as interior painting to the same area.

The initial meeting to Mike when very well. He is professional, cordial and very helpful. He provided an estimate that I accepted after applying an Angie's list coupon discount. We agreed on a price and set a date. Rain put the date off a day, but 2 of his guys showed up a little after 8:00AM on the aggreed upon date. As they began to look closely at the trim to be painted, they discovered that some of the trim could not be paiunted due to theover caulking that was done prior to my buying the home. the type of caulk used could not be painted, so the scope of the job was reduced a bit. It took 2 guys about 7 hours each to complete the work and Mike reduced his Bid to adjust for the work that did not get done. I was not home when they finished, so when i got home I "inspected" the work. I was a disappointed in the coverage of some areas as well as an area that could have been painted but was not. I called Mike and he had his painter back the next morning to correct every concern I had. When he left, he told my wife to call if we noticed anything else that was not OK and they would come right back out. Overall, a good experience. Only issue was that they had to come back out. The positive is that they reacted quickly to my call.Tthe negative ... I would expect they would have seen what I did and reacted on their own.

Mike was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He and his team were very professional. Mike's team did a wonderful job. Brad and Justin were on time each day. Quality of work was very good and they spent considerable time ensuring the crown molding turned out nice. They took pride in their work and the project started and finished on time. Communication was great - Mike, Brad and Justin responded immediately to all of our questions. We have had our share of poor experiences with contractors, which made us appreciate Mike and his teams performance that much more. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIRING PRO PAINTERS PLUS!

Michael and his crew arrived on time and got right to work! They were very polite and professional throughout the process. Before beginning, the team tarped everything in order to keep it clean. They needed to replace some sheetrock that had water marks; they did this beautifully- no seam lines, no tape lines. They were able to match the ceiling paint perfectly to our walls (all a light almond color). The team fixed nail pops, cracked tape, and settling issues. We were very pleased with the quality of their work, and thrilled with the price! I would recommend this company to anyone looking for interior painters, excellent all around!!!

They arrived and left on time. The did some spray painting on the ceiling but didnt protect any of our lights. We called them and told them about the paint, and they said that they would come back out, but never did. We had to end up scraping all the paint off of all the lights. We really felt like they rushed the job. They didnt wait until the paint was dry and they were done in two days. I could tell that the crew was not as neat as the could have been. The owner was very nice, but in the end we were just not happy with the service.

They were prompt and courteous and cleaned up every day

It went really well. Mike's workers are professional and did a great job. Any concerns we had during and after the project were addressed and corrected to our liking. Mike goes out of his way to make sure you are happy with the work. I plan on using his company for future painting projects.

I thought that they were really professional. They were great just in terms of refining their quote and relaying the information. Their price was okay, but they were a little high and I think that he would work with you on the quote.

Job entailed: repair family room ceiling due to peeling paint, remove wall paper from foyer, hallway, and stairs, prep all newly installed crown molding, baseboards, etc, paint family room, living room, dining room, bathroom, hallway, foyer, and stairs. Company did an excellent job. We had to stagger the job in phases due to other contract work being done. The owner Mike and his team where great to work with. Customer focused, professional, on time, did great work, and thoroughly cleaned up after. The rooms look fantastic. We would highly recommend this company and will absolutely use for any future jobs we may have.

We were extremely pleased with Pro Painters Plus, and we are very demanding when it comes to painting. For the last 15 years we had a painter who was trained in Europe, where he did a 10 year internship. When he retired, we weren't sure we could find a painter as good as him. But Pro Painters Plus exceeded our expectations. The owner Mike was on time, asked great questions, took great notes, and e-mailed an estimate in a very timely fashion. The estimate was very explicit. Communication with Mike and his staff was excellent from start to finish. They were very clean and respectful of the house. After meeting them once, we trusted them enough to let them paint while we were out of town. We did this to get the job done before Christmas, and it proved to be a wise decision. Their attention to detail was fantastic. They matched the old paint color perfectly, did a great job repairing cracks with fiberglass tape, and prepped the walls and woodwork very well. They used oil based paint for the primer and finish coats on the woodwork as we had asked. Everything was painted extremely well. The results were everything we expected. We would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone.

First I have to say that they were always extremely punctual and the communication with Michael, the owner was excellent from start to finish. He kept me apprised of their schedule and worked hard to meet my deadline. They were very respectful of my concerns about pets, and even though the job turned out to be more difficult than they had anticipated they honored their original quote. I was very pleased with their work and would definitely use them again. The workmen were also very respectful and friendly.

Michael Gromeringer was very responsive to phone calls and provided an estimate and work date in a timely fashion. Two workers performed the job in a workmanlike fashion and did all necessary cleanup. Would use them again and would recommend to others.

They did a great job. They were very professional. They made sure that using the steam and stuff that there were no residuals in the hardwood floor and then they actually did some preliminary patch work which I thought was sufficient. The pricing I thought was excellent. They were here within a couple of days and they were right on time.

August 2012: So, I'm responding now because I think it's worth letting folks know this guy is top notch. I have had so many "clowns" at my house telling me they can paint my interior, I can't even begin to tell you how frustrating it is. I have literally had people just completely not show up for estimates, etc. Michael G. is excellent to work with. I will provide another update once the work is complete in mid October 2012. November 2012. Wow. These guys are good. It is highly evident that Michael carefully selects his crew for longevity as professional painters. They are exactly that: professionals. The team Michael sent to pain our interior was head and shoulders above the competition. You know they are good when you comment to other contractors about how happy you are with Pro painters Plus' service and they can't say a single negative thing about them. That's "live action", people. We were completely impressed with the crew's attention to detail. Specific items my wife and I commented on as "boy, I hope they finish that", would be completely addressed the next day without our even having to mention them. You're not going wrong with these guys. Put them at the top of the heap in terms of "service-oriented" painters. Honestly, I think the term "painters" is a disservice to them....

Michael from Pro Painters Plus was very professional as was his staff. Aside from the initial meeting all communication was handled via email (a major plus for me). The project was quoted in a timely fashion and a due date was established. The work was performed professionally and promptly. Kudos to PPP, I highly recommend this company.

One of the most knowledgeable (about his profession) painting contractors I have ever met re: paint products, processes & technology. His team was very professional & prompt. They were eager to satisfy the customer. They maintained the agreed to schedule. Overall I would grade them A ( - ). Maybe a slight bit pricey but well worth the dollars spent. I would definitely use them again assuming the same management team is in place.

Everything was done exactly as we had planned and we are delighted with the result. We decided to have Pro Painters Plus tackle our next work on the house - power washing the house and refinishing the deck, and have also been completely pleased with these results.

I interviewed a number of painters and all of them came in and eyeballed the rooms and scribbled quotes on paper. One went on at great length on how he would save me money by cutting this corner and that corner, yet his quote was the highest of all. Michael came in with a laser and measured up every room, approaching his quote with precision and professionalism. We discussed the best way to approach the project and he offered logical recommendations. When I received his completed quote it could not have been more professional. It was also a very good price. We had some surprises, and the drywall work caused the price to escalate, but we discussed it along the way, and I wanted the job done right and that is exactly what they did. They did prep work that was skimped by the builder 40 years ago, and by every painter that worked in the house since. In the end, the final price was still below most of the other quotes and I highly doubt that any of the other companies I talked to would have done as admirable a job. I highly recommend Michael and Pro Painters Plus, in fact, I will be hiring them soon to do additional work. They are highly conscientious, very professional, they arrive on time, they do what they say they will do, and they do the job right. They also work clean, and leave the job site as clean as it was before they arrived. Did I say, they are also a pleasure to work with? My only regret is that in giving Michael such a good review, his schedule will get so booked up that I may have a hard time getting an open slot on his calender for future work. I'll take my chances. The guy who sealed my deck did a mediocre job, so I suspect Mike and I will be working quite a bit going forward. I understand he does power washing as well.

From the first contact with Pro Painters, I was impressed with their professionalism. I couldn't have been more pleased with their quality of work. I am using them again and have already scheduled another job.

The work was excellent. The men sent out to do the work were polite and professional. The owner of the company was also polite and professional and easy to communicate with via phone or email (whatever worked for us). There was a thoughtful evaluation of the ongoing work by the owner and his team the result of which was communicated to us. In sum, they worked very hard to make sure every aspect of the job went well.

We had several unfinished areas of our house where we stripped some wall paper. We found it tedious and time-consuming. I called ProPainters Plus and Michael, the CEO, came out as scheduled and did a very comprehensive walk-thru with ipad in hand. Even though his estimate wasn't the absolute lowest (although it was very competitive), I chose Michael's company because of the way he conducted the walkthru and the format of his proposal. Both were very comprehensive and I had a gut feeling that he and his team would be very conscientious in how they performed the work. My instincts were right on. Michael worked with me to schedule the job and kept in contact to coordinate a potential earlier start. A free color consultation comes with the package. Claire was instrumental in helping us choose colors - even for rooms that we did not engage Michael to paint! The project team was extremely friendly and professional. They paid extreme attention to detail and their work was excellent. They cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day. Because it was summer, the kids were home and the crew worked around the family without complaint. We got to trust them so much that we gave them a key to our house so they could paint our bedroom paint while we were on vacation! It was awesome to come home to see the beautiful transformation. The best part of working with Michael was how he kept in close touch with us to keep us apprised of the progress. Michael is a great communicator and gave excellent customer service. He was easy to reach and very responsive. These guys will go the extra mile to do the job right. For example, when they painted our bedroom they discovered that the border (which needed to be removed) was adheared directly to the drywall. They ended up putting two coats of spackling to cover the border before painting. It looked perfect! It was a lot of extra work, but Michael does not "nickel and dime" his customers - no additional charge! I can't recommend Michael and Pro Painters Plus enough! In fact, I have already recommended them to a friend who was extremely happy with their experience. I would use them again in a heartbeat!

Very positive experience. The owner Michael was very prompt at showing up in giving me a competitive estimate. I was please with the earlier interior painting so went with them for the exterior also.

Although we didn't select them to perform the work, we would defintely contact them for future work. Mike was punctual, responsive and communicated with us very well. The main reason that we didn't select them was schedule. Also, his price was competetive, but a little high.
