He and his team were totally professional, meticulous and thorough. They were a pleasure to have in my home, and we were rewarded with our confidence in him with a job that was done completely to our satisfaction and restored the area to brand new. Total lack of responsiveness

All aspects of the work was done in a very professional manner. The workers were cordial and always took time to explain what they were doing when asked. Heavy equipment left some depressions in our lawn, but we were told to expect that even though they laid down heavy duty mats to minimize the damage. Fran checked in on the work every day (sometimes twice a day) and spoke with us personally about their progress. The finished work was excellent and Fran said he would stop back to make sure everything worked out OK. He also reassured us that he would fix anything we felt wasn't up to our expectations. We'll definitely call on him for future projects.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Francis X White Builders, they are an awesome company, the experience was great from start to finish. The quality of their work is stellar, everything is finished in the best way, attention to detail was top notch. The workers from start to finish were the same group of guys, they are extremely professional, polite and the best at what they do. The honesty was refreshing, anytime an issue was discovered it was shown to us and discussed in detail the options available. These guys do NOT cut corners, they take pride in their work and it shows. They are always able to be reached for questions or concerns, they were here working every morning at 8am until 4:30 or 5pm. Fran, the owner was willing to cut us a break on pricing as a result of all the unexpected work (rotting wood, etc) that was discovered. I can honestly say this company is worth the money, their work, their integrity, quality, honesty, attention to detail were phenomenal. We would definitely use them again and would totally recommend them to family and friends. AMAZING!!! Great job, Thanks again!!

Called on 4/4, 4/5 and 4/8 (Thurs/Friday/Monday) and left a contact e-mail through their sites web site over the weekend. Site says that all calls/forms will be answered in 24 hours. Contacted this provider based on the 100% A on Angie's list. Our calls/e-mails were not returned as of 4/10 (Wednesday). Very disappointed in the response to our inquiry to have an estimate on a new deck/sliding glass door build. Very unfortunate.

The work on the shower stall took about four days. The gentlemen who worked at our home were professional. The area was completely cleaned up every evening. Most importantly, we don't have water seeping up through our tile any longer. We highly recommend Francis X. White Builders.

This is our second large project using Fran. He is ultra-professional, responsive, really cares about the work being done. His people are extremely diligent, focused on details and do high quality work. He provides insightful input on the planning and can take either vague or detailed direction and get the job done exactly the way we wanted. When we first worked with Fran, he admitted his rates are slightly higher than others - which is absolutely worth it.

From start to finish an extremely professional company. I was very impressed with this company. The crew was very knowledgeable, worked extremely hard, and on some days worked very long hours in the freezing cold. They kept a very neat and orderly work site, and were very professional. Being an older house with many odd angles and additions from over the years, this company was more than able to handle anything thrown their way and did an excellent job on a very difficult roof to redo. Very highly recommended.

Came right out, reviewed the situation, provided an estimated, scheduled an appointment, arrived as scheduled, performed the work as described, no water leaks to date.

I found Fran to be easy to work with, highly skilled and extremely professional from start to finish. He did the work very well, exactly as requested and in a timely fashion. The next time I need carpentry work done, I will definitely give him a call.

They were wonderful. They are very customer-oriented, very responsive, and very effective. They were able to solve the problem. They are also reasonably priced and very timely. I would recommend them for any kind of work, and I plan on doing more work with them in the future.

Fran and his workers were amazing. What surprised me the most was that during this busy time of the year Fran made every effort to do my home before the holidays. He called each day prior to arrival and his workers were both professional and experienced. They made every effort to work around us and did the work in less time then expected. The molding was a custom made molding consisting of at least four different pieces of wood and then customized for my kitchen as it needed to cover an existing border. All the cutting was done outside and the painters were just as neat. They even painted the three walls in my kitchen when they were only suppose to touch up because they saw a little difference in color. I probably never would have noticed but they brought it to my attention and did not charge extra. They cleaned up after the molding and painting, vacuumed my rooms and garage and neatly put all the trash in one bag. You don't find that today or at least I never did when I had other contractors do work for me. They were so professional, friendly and willing to do whatever to please my wife and I. During this time I had a problem with my built in oven and needed to have one installed before the holiday. Fran came himself to do the installation so we could have it and then followed up with the manufacturer to answer some questions I had. I never expected him to do that as I didn't get that service from the place I purchased the oven. I then had my garage door damaged and asked Fran if he could help me out with it. He needed to find the door to match the other two and after searching he found a place that had them in stock. What a find as I thought that I might have to replace or paint the the other two. He was able to do that within a short time and actually repaired a track on my other door and greased the other two without any charge nor telling me. I realized it was done when I went to use them. I was blown away as I tried calling several garage door places that either told me they could not find the door or did not even respond to my messages. Years ago I had Fran do all the pre work and follow up work when I had granite counter tops installed and had the same experiences.It is very rare today to find someone who takes pride in their work, complete the job in a timely fashion and have employees working for them that you would trust your children with. And the clean-up might seem simple built to have everything swept and vacuumed or having painters do three additional walls or working on your other garage doors without asking........that I find AMAZING! And not to mention that Fran personally called before and after each job to find out if everything was OK.

The crew working on my house was extremely knowledgeable and professional. They were meticulous with both the work and clean-up. An example of their professionalism is with bad storm on the way, they made sure the house was weather tight before leaving for the evening. Once the job was started Fran's crew was on the job every day until it was completed.

Fran came out to give us an estimate in August. He was very professional and knowledgable. The morning of the job , Fran came with his workers Dennis & Dan to introduce them and review the job. Dennis and Dan did an excellent job...they moved and replaced the outdoor furniture to do the chimney repair and were very neat. The lower sections under the 2 bay windows looks beautiful ...very professional work!

Overall it went very well. Fran was very responsive. No other contractors responded as quickly as Fran did. I'm actually asking him to do some additional work because we were so impressed.

I am very pleased and impressed with the work that was performed by Francis X White Builders. Francis White responded to our request within two days, evaluated the situation and provided a detailed proposal to fix the problems the next day. He and the team he deployed were prompt, courteous, and professional in every way. Francis acted as general contractor for activities acquiring sub contractors such as painting and gutter helment replacement. If any problems were uncovered which were not anticipated such as wood on the house which had any dry rot etc. he fixed in an innovative and reasonable way. Overall it was a very good experience dealing with a professional who provided an excellent work product, on time, and at a reasonable cost. My husband and I have worked with numerous contractors during our 36 years of marriage. But once we started working with Fran White in 2007, we will never consider anyone else. His attention to detail, ability to solve structural challenges, and association with top-level craftsmen make his work excellent! His team arrives on time and leaves the job site clean each day. Fran?s creativity has transformed our small master bath to an elegant, cathedral-ceiling spa. Our daughter?s bathroom was converted to a marble masterpiece. Most recently, Fran changed an otherwise drab family room to a relaxed and comfortable showcase. He relocated our fireplace and had furniture-quality cabinetry built to house our home entertainment system. They installed complicated rustic handmade tile around our fireplace and wet bar. The custom cabinets have a patina that makes them look historically correct and original. Fran?s organization, Francis X. White Builders , is a group of consummate professionals that we highly recommend for ANY of your needs.

Everything was done beautifully and our children have marveled at the difference between the old kitchen and the new larger kitchen/ dining area.

Fran and his team are very professional and talented. The project took 9 weeks to complete and they never missed a day. The project included carpentry, electrical, plumbing, building a wet bar, installing tile and carpet, tearing down dry wall and installing new, and painting. After they completed our project we had them come back and do some interior painting on our first floor. This year they installed a new front door and they are going to paint the trim on the outside of our house. I would highly recommend Fran and his team.

Our experience working with Fran and his crew was very positive. The cost of the project indicated may seem high, but it includes some higher end materials that we personally chose outside of the budget Fran provided us with. Once the investment is made in quality materials you want to make sure the installation is done well and will last and look new for many years. With three estimates in hand we felt that Fran best understood what we wanted and his price wasn't much different that the other estimates we received. Once he began the project the guys were on the job every day until it was completed. They listened to what we wanted, were as neat as can be expected, trustworthy and professional.
