Complete Bathroom Design-Remodels

We had Tom come back for this much larger remodel project (4 months in total), after he did such a great job on our guest bath a few years ago. His work ethic, communication and prices are all second to none. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone and will definitely re-enlist his services on any new remodel projects that we might have.

Tom was great. He did exactly what we asked him to do, and we are super happy with our new bathroom! He was very pleasant and respectful of our home, and very easy to work with. Would definitely recommend him!

Tom Walters was provided on-going details on dates when we could do the job, ordering of supplies, labor cost, and any adjustment which occurred due to our selection of different options on the hardware & tubs. He completed the work quickly & to specifications. When we asked for adjustments to water flow & temperature (factor installed child restrictions), Tom came on Saturday to make the adjustments. Out of 3 estimates, Tom's estimate was over $1200 less than the other 2 contractors. If we need additional work done, we will contact Tom again, and recommend to family & friends.

Mr. Walter remodeled 2 bathrooms for our newly purchased home, and we loved the work, so asked him to do the kitchen tile work as well. Superb, again!

Absolutely great, all around

I can't say enough good things about Tom. I contacted several contractors for our bathroom project and he was the first to respond and came out and did the estimate within days. He gave us a very fair price and started right away. He arrived by 9am EVERYDAY and worked extra long days to get the job done. His craftsmanship is impressive. Tom is a perfectionist and takes pride in his work. An added challenged is our house is over 100 years old-so the walls are not level, but Tom fit each tile in and it looks awesome. He communicated with me throughout the whole project and was always super nice and respectful. I felt very comfortable having him in my home and trusted him being there when I wasn't. He always kept his tools out of the way and cleaned up his work area at the end of everyday. I would recommend Tom to anyone looking for a bathroom renovation and I will definitely be contacting him for future projects.

He was very attentive and he would have done a job if it had been in his sphere of expertise. I thought he gave us a very fair quote and he was very attentive, trying to follow up as quickly as he could. He actually brought on board he little company that made the glass and installed it so I thought he was very helpful in that respect too.

I can't say enough about Tom's work ethic. His communication is timely and precise and you can set your clock by his on-the-job presence. He is knowledgeable about the products and techniques required to get the job done properly and very conscious of keeping a clean work environment. Combine all of the above with the fact that pricing for his services is highly competitive and you have the total package if you're in the market for a remodeling contractor. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone and will definitely re-enlist his services when we are ready to re-do our master bath.

Tom was very easy to work with. Communication was prompt and clear, and this professionalism carried over to punctuality and work ethic. It is great to have someone one can trust with your house. Nothing was a hassle with Tom. One knows how home projects can become one problem after another. During the entire process Tom listened to what we wanted. But even better than listening, Tom's suggestions turned out to be spot on. His choice in the fixtures worked out great. It was also nice to have a contractor take care of everything, from removing the construction debris to painting the door frames there was never a point where Tom was citing hidden fees or extra costs. The bathroom turned out better than I expected. Usually I have buyer's remorse, but in this case, my satisfaction with the bathroom has only increased. We will certainly be calling on Tom in the future.

Tom was pleasure to work with, he handled this large job beautifully, the results are stunning, I will not hesitate to use him again! His is professional and very detail oriented, no short cuts, he does it right. I had several different contractors out to give estimates, Tom impressed us the most with his knowledge, he brought up items the others guys missed, and his price was considerably less than the others.

The bathroom looks great! It is really quite gorgeous. And they did it for so much less than many of the other contractors I had asked for bids from. They did the job in a timely manner and I could not have been happier. There was one glitch: they had had to turn off the water supply to the washing machine downstairs to get the job done and had forgotten to turn it back on when before they finished. It is a rental unit and was vacant at the time. I didn't notice the issue for a couple of months. Experience with other contractors had me fearing a fight over whether or not it was really their fault...but nothing of the sort! They went right to work and told me they would fix it whether it turned out to be because of them or not. When they discovered the problem they freely told me what had happened, fixed it, and now I have a convenient access panel (which looks like it belonged there all the time) in case I ever need to do additional repairs. Mistakes happen, and this was in easy one to make, but to me the professionalism they showed in accepting responsibility and promptly dealing with the problem impressed me. I not only would use them again, I asked them to consider finishing the basement in my own home. It is a rather large basement and they told me they could do it, but that they like to focus on bathrooms so that they can do what they do best and maintain their high standards rather than dilute their expertise by trying to do many, unrelated things. They did give me the name of a contractor they trusted who could help. And I definitely plan to have them be the subcontractors for the bathroom when we do move ahead with the project!

He did a great job. He did everything as quick as he could. He put tile work in our bathrooms. We put in new showers in the bathrooms, new toliets, new baseboard heat, and also new vanities. He painted the entire bathroom and I am completly satisfied with the work.

Tom was responsive, punctual, professional, and easy to work with. He did a great job, left his work area clean, and followed up to make sure we were satisfied. I would recommend him again and will most likely use him in the future for further work.

Upon their arrival we have three dogs, one of them playfully jumped up on both of them. We have very friendly dogs and I was actually in the process of taking them outside, but the gentleman's father had a fear of dogs. I apologized and explained that I was taking them outside. When I came back into the house the gentlemen were leaving. If family dogs are a concern for this company then he should state this in the initial call. I made time out of my day for this visit and they just left. I found it unprofessional to just leave and not discuss it any further.

Tom completed his work punctually without missing a day. Start to finish both kitchens were completely tiled ( back splashes) within a week.

Tom was very punctual in his response. He called and set up an appointment right away. Came out and was wonderful at answering all our questions. Sent a proposal a few days later and his price was very competitive with the other offers. We liked him and felt we could trust him, so we were going to use him. Unfortunately, something financially came up which prevented us from doing the project, however we will be calling him as soon as our situation is resolved for our bath remodel.

Tom started by getting rid of old cast iron tub, wall tiles and dry walls as well as floor tiles and thick cement flooring underneath. He then rebuilt the pipes, pluming , dry walls, flooring (cement boards), tub and electrical wires (of lights). After that he tiled the walls and then the floor with great care and installed the shower. Some pictures and close up of his Tile work is included since I believed he did a high quality and professional job. He finished the job with some painting and installing the vanity (which we purchased online and the price was not included). Also he vacuumed and cleaned the work area every day before he leaved. Tom's great personality and listening skill made the project very easy for us.

We were thrilled with the bathroom tub install Tom complete for us last week. We had been having problems with the tub & tile leaking into the downstairs laundry room for some time now. It took awhile for plumbers to figure out that previous owner had installed a jacuzzi tub & tile incorrectly which was causing the leak. Tom investigated and agreed with 2 plumbers assessment. He removed the old tub and tile surround and installed a new tub and matching fiberglass surround. Added sheet rock above surround, primed and left ready for me to paint. Tom pays attention to detail, kept the job area clean & is very talented. He was extremely careful and removed tub without disturbing tile floor which saved us money. The new tub fit perfectly. It was a pleasure working with Tom and our tenant was thrilled as well. Her family owns commercial real estate so she was familiar with the construction. She said Tom was excellent to work with, very detail oriented, started and completed the job exactly as he said he would. I found Tom on Angie's List - this was the first job he has done for us. I I feel very lucky to have found someone to perform this quality of work at a reasonable price. I highly recommend Tom and will definitely use him again.

Overall, Tom did a great job. I ultimately chose Tom because of his responsiveness and reasonable price. I went through the process of getting several bids - and Tom's bid was hands down the most competitive and he offered the best customer service. I pretty much had decided on what I wanted to be done and how I wanted the finished product to look. Tom listened to what I wanted and offered his own suggestions to improve the project without changing my objectives. Tom did a nice job keeping cleaning up each day and keeping his work area neat. The quality of his work was great and I am very pleased with the end result.

We were impressed with Tom's ideas and he was very professional and responsive. His quote was very reasonable as well. We were very pleased with him and would have hired him if we had not decided to hold off on the project. We hope to work with Tom in the future.

He checked everything out, even made us an access panel in the linen closet so we could see the shower plumbing. He figured out that the water was coming from another source, not his work, which I was able to verify. He didn't charge me a thing even though I put him to all that trouble for nothing. We remain delighted with the 2 bathroom remodels he did for us months ago. When we redo the half bath in the future, we will definitely use Tom.

Tom has a free spirit which is refreshing and has many wonderful ideas based on our perceived idea. We told him what we wanted and he flowed with it. This was changing by the day and he rolled with it. He tore out the dividing wall/door and built in cabinets along with all appliances and vanity. He was very willing to go shopping with us to pick out bathroom fixtures, etc. and when we thought the tub would be delayed by 3 weeks, he redid his schedule on other aspects of the re-model. When we found the tub would be in on time after all, he was able to gear up and completed the project just about the time we needed it. We left him at the house while we were on vacation to work at his own pace without any hesitation. He worked very well with the cabinet maker in adjusting his schedule for theirs when it was time to install the cabinets and the vanity. He had some great suggestions for using the tile in the best way but was also very agreeable with my husband's suggestions. When we came back from vacation the bathroom was completed except for a few minor details which were not his fault. He was also very agreeable to making repairs in our other three baths while waiting for materials for the main project. Tom is a very accomplished contractor with ideas and tile, etc. and we would highly recommend him to our friends and anyone needing new or remodeling of a bath. Wish he specialized in other aspects of the house. He is very knowledgable and very personable to work with. His cost was very reasonable and we would use him again if the need arises.
