For over a year Howard waiter's knew about the bad pad. I told him about the problem with the moisture barrier pad, I was told just to put the pad down and not to say anything to the customers. It's not right to do business like that. I know I did at least 7 jobs this year with the bad pad. That's not counting the number of jobs other guys did with that pad. So if you had work done this past year by Big Marty's I think you should get ahold of someone that can help you at least get something back or even new martial that is proper.

Already did a review on this installation. This is a follow-up. I had to hire a carpet stretcher to come and repair the horrible installation. The carpet was VERY buckled in many places throughout the townhouse. The carpet stretcher told me that the installers short-cut the process by not re-doing the tack strips that hold the carpet in place. He did the best he could short of ripping the carpet up and re-doing it completely. I'm not sure who they use for installation -- 3rd party or in-house. I believe they told me that they were in-house installers. My previous review explains the rest of this horrible experience. I would not hire these guys to carpet a doghouse.

Harrold at Big Marty's was helpful selecting carpet and helping us understand which carpet would best suit our needs. He gave us an immediate approximate quote and then sent out the carpet measurer. She was so accurate in her measurements that the amount of carpet left over was the size of a small bathroom rug. The installers were independent contractors and they did a vey professional job although the one did put a nail through the heater line that runs along the wall under the surbases in our bedroom. Big Marty's covered the cost of that repair.
Description of Work: Ripped out and installed new carpet and padding throughout the whole house.
