Said he would get back in a day or two with an estimate. No response after a week. Called the provider, left message, waited another week, still no response. Called the provider again, left message, still waiting.

I got a prompt estimate. Eric showed up at the agreed time for the estimate and the repair job. He gave me a complete explanation of what had to be done. I am very pleased with the result of the job which is on the front of an older home.

I called Eric and he had quoted me a price and then said he would be out the next day to look at the roof and weather permitting he would be out on Monday to fix it, Well it was real windy Monday & he came out Tuesday Morning to Fix it. the price included a bundle of shingles.

My wife and I couldn't be happier with the work that was done. We have owned the house for 25 years and have had many experiences with contractors and handy men. This is the first time we can say we are completely satisfied with the work that was done. Eric, Tim, Matt and Julio,are professional, courteous, punctual and most importantly, they know what they're doing. They take pride in their work,, and really pay attention to detail. They were here for a close to four weeks and during that time I realized that they truly care about customer satisfaction.

eric promptly came when i called and told him our skylite was leaking and replaced it, he also power washed our roof. his work is excellent and he is very fussy about getting the job done properly. when he was done, every thing was cleaned up. i have already hired him to do more work in the spring and highly recommend him.

They did a beautiful job. Two guys came out at night to fix my leak and they were here for three hours. I didn’t get an estimate up front and when I asked them what I owed them, they said $150.00. I told them that they wouldn’t make any money at that price and offered to pay $200.00. They didn’t have a part to completely fix the drain and offered to come back on Sunday. They didn’t come out and haven’t returned my calls since then. I have since fixed the last piece and it hasn’t been an issue and it hasn’t been a big deal.

We called Eric and he came to give us an estimate the same day. We needed this job done within a few day's notice and also needed it complete within a week. Eric said they could do it. To ask this of a contractor is pretty crazy but he agreed to take on the job. Eric and his guys came in a few days later and started up. They removed the wall, moved the electric, installed a supporting beam to form an arch nearly the entire length of the rooms and covered it all in drywall. They removed the door in one of the rooms and sheetrocked over it. They ripped up three rooms and a hallway (including three closets) worth of carpet and installed 450 sq feet of laminate flooring and 1/4 round trim throughout. They matched up the baseboards and installed it where it was needed. They ran into some electrical issues along the way and got their Electrician in to fix them. Eric and his guys even took care of a couple things not on our list and made sure everything was done perfectly. They took an extra day to finish it all up but considering the short notice we gave them and the excellent quality of the end result, there's no way we're complaining. Everything looks amazing. You would swear the flooring came installed with the house and that those two rooms were always one big one from the start. Their attention to detail is great. Also, they're just really good guys. They're friendly, they offer good advice and solutions to problems that aren't part of their job, and they conduct themselves like professionals. Eric kept us informed of their progress all the way through and always called with questions or if anything unplanned came up. We wouldn't hesitate to call them again in a heartbeat. As long as Able Hands is in business, they'll be our first and only call for projects like this. We found them here on Angie's List but us being dummies, we forgot to mention the 10% coupon. That was our fault, though and has nothing to do with these guys.

Eric was kind enough to squeeze me into his already booked schedule... and within days at that! Work was performed on time and at estimated cost. Workers were very professional and courteous. End result was a beautiful new wall... and a huge monkey off of my back! I would highly recommend! A++++

I wish we would have found Able Hands from the start of our project!!! We are in the process of renovating a century-old, multi-unit home and had some set-backs with other contractors along the way. We found Eric through a trusted referral and had him do a walk through. He immediately put us at ease with what we thought was a "monster load" of repairs ahead of us. He provided us with a detailed estimate of the work needed on the spot and a time line for completion so we knew exactly what to expect. All of the work was completed with PERFECTION and ahead of schedule, even considering all the hidden flaws he came across and fixed at no charge. I've had a lot of experience (good and bad) with contractors in the area and I can say with utmost sincerity that no one can match Eric's passion and care for the work he does. Not to mention he is friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and extremely fun to be around! Most importantly, I cannot stress the value of a contractor who is trustworthy. We were completely comfortable with leaving Eric a spare key to the house to continue working when we couldn't be there. He did not let us down. If I had known about Eric and his crew when I started this renovation, I would have no need for any other contractor. Eric is now our "go-to guy" for EVERYTHING and we couldn't be more grateful for all the flawless work he has provided. We look forward to working with Able Hands again and again and again...

Eric and his crew were excellent. They were very responsive and professional; they did their work promptly and under their initial estimate. When we found the bathtub had to be re-sealed, Eric showed up the next day to do it himself. He also helped to replace a light switch, free of charge(which still isn't working but it turns out there's a wiring problem, not his fault). He was very solicitous to help, but not pushy; good with my young sons who wanted to watch everything, and was determined, even if he had not gotten the job, to give us good advice on how the job should be done properly. He found tile that closely matched our 1963 bath tile and was very eager to listen to what we wanted.

He was polite, efficient - got the job done in 1 day----and did a very good job !

Very open and honest with the estimate provided on the spot. Did not exceed amount. Took a bit longer than expected but the job was thorough. Able performed additional minor work not originally included in the estimate. Even fixed a clogged pipe at no additional cost over a weekend. I would definitely use them again.

After making an error in regards to this contractor, we have actually hired him and will review his work when the job is completed.

Eric is a competent, conscientious worker. We hired him to do repairs to our roof which involved replacing and/or repairing shingles which were buckling and coming away from the roof and to correct areas where water was not draining properly and causing damage. His recommendations for repair work and to rebuild roof extensions and power wash the roof has given us a few more years on a roof we thought we would have to replace. While he was on the job we asked him to do some siding repair and to haul away some old materials. Eric is knowledgeable and helpful, and we were very pleased with the work he has done. We would recommend him wholeheartedly and have already contracted with him for more work.

At first I was really excited about the work he was doing. He was really thorough. Unfortunately it rained a lot last fall so he had to not work some days and it took longer than expected. I was understanding, but it seemed he was a little frustrated with the job being behind. He finished up the fence and did a really good job. He power washed my deck at the beginning and he did a great. Then when he stained it he even started out taking off all the white wood beams holding up the rail, but by the end he got rushed I think. It was very splotchy. I told him, and he was willing to come fix it, but it still looked spotty. He told me that he would come back and fix anything if I felt like I needed it. I then later noticed that the whole outside of the deck never got stained. The part that you can only see when you are off the deck. When he called later to see how everything was, I let him know about the deck. I think he thought I was being a bit ridiculous. He said he would come by, but he never has. I really was happy with the job he did for the most part, but unfortunately the job is not done until its done, and he rushed the very last part. I also was disappointed that he said he would come back, and never did. Just tell me that you won't instead.

Eric was very professional. He promptly returned my call, came out for an estimate and completed all the work exactly when he said he would. The work was very well done, very professional. He did more work then we had agreed on. The retaining wall near my fence was all messed up and they fixed it at no extra charge. The fence looks great. I would highly recommend Eric and all his crew at Able Hands for any work you might need. I will be havng some more work done around my house and wouldnt even think of using anyone else.

Everything went flawlessly from start to finish. The crew members were neat, professional, and really cared about their craft. I was charged the amount we agreed to and they showed up every day on time. The one time they couldn't make it I was notified well in advance and we agreed to a different day. Able Hands is the only home improvement company that I have used in recent memory that actually care about their work, they didn't cut corners, didn't leave a mess behind, and didn't try to hide mistakes. Anyone looking for quality work for a fair price, accomplished in a timely manner, by a group of guys who love what they do and are proud of what they do should hire Able Hands, Inc. This group is truly a "throw back" to a time when Americans took pride in everything they did.

I called him to get an estimate after hurricane Irene blew over a wooden privacy fence. He came out, gave me an estimate, and came back in a few days to take care of the work. He was quick, and there were no surprises.

Overall exceptional service, exceptional price, and quality. Would highly recommend, and would use him again for other needs myself.
