Description of Work: Berry, AKA Brian Dunleavy had an ad in a flier, which unfortunately I responded to. I intend to file criminal charges against him. However, I rushed to warn people about him before they are scammed like I was. On June 17th, I paid Berry/Brian $2,100 to install siding in the front of my house. He was to start on June 22nd. The date came and went. I contacted him by email and phone, sometimes even getting him. He made excuses after excuses. A full six weeks later, he came to my house and worked two hours but then wanted to be paid the rest of his money. My husband threw him out. More excuses, more promises, nothing. He even tried to make me believe his mother died. He was supposed to come Monday and complete the job. He emailed me with another lame excuse and today when my lawyer tried to call him, his phone is disconnected. This man preys on seniors, gives them a low price, puts them off. In effect, he is a low-class Bernie Madoff. If the man you are hiring looks like a well-tanned, tiny leprechaun with an overabundance of teeth and with a very unusual accent or speech defect, that is Berry/Brian/ or even Paris. Run, don't walk!!! He is a scam artist and needs to be arrested. PS: His oldest child is 10, which make the "& Sons" part laughable. I hope he is proud of himself, scamming an 80-year-old dying man. Also, he was bald. He goes by several names. Will the former complainant please contact L. D’Angelo at (610) 296-3617.

+ -1 moreThis project has been ongoing for two years, since June of 2005 and still not completed. Berry keeps disappearing for months, turning up with lots of excuses and promises, works for a day or two, then disappears. Does not answer phone calls. Unfortunately, we paid for the project, but it's not half done. Sad thing is he does beautiful work WHEN he works! Have not heard from him in over two months; hasn't answered phone calls.
Description of Work: Prep and repair work to trim, painting of trim and stucco on three-story house.
