Description of Work: Replaced concrete sidewalks and concrete steps. They removed old, damaged concrete material and prepared the site to accommodate thicker concrete slabs and placed necessary forms. After the new sidewalks steps were cured they removed the forms and all debris & cleaned up the area. Very good result. I was pleased with their work. It went very well.

Description of Work: Called Mr. Hoffsmith to give us an estimate on either repairing or replacing a cement block and concrete porch. He came out within 3-4 days to look at the job and provide an estimate. The prices were good but he couldn't work us into his schedule as quickly as we would have liked so we went with someone else that could fit us in. I would consider him to bid on another project if we had the need.

Description of Work: I left a voice mail message a few weeks ago and was initially impressed to received a phone call that evening. He was given a description of the job I was interested in having done and was told that he would look over the repair site. I have left at least another two voice mail messages requesting a call back. He has failed to do so. I noticed that he began a job today just 4 houses away from mine. I was hoping that he would contact me or leave an estimate in my mail box. I guess he doesn't need any more business.

+ -1 moreWhen we called Tom he responded the next day by looking the situation over and then giving us an estimate. When we had agreed on the price he was out the next day to prepare the site. It was many weeks until he finally actually poured the concrete, but we had told him we were in no hurry and we happy if he would work it in whenever he had time. He did excellent work.
Description of Work: Replaced a sidewalk slab that that had previously been removed by the gas company to run a gas line to the house.

+ -1 moreI had multiple bids and Tom was competetive. He does extras that go above and beyond in my mind. ...example..He removed some concrete from a small corner section of the sidewalk..he added mulch which was not part of the original estimate, becuase it finished the job..another time, he replanted some grass seed to again and quot;finishand quot; the job on the porch. Its rare to find a contractor like this.
Description of Work: First job, Tom redid a porch and walkway 2nd job tom repaired some sections of side walks
