The carpet in the most traveled room of the house looks HORRIBLE just six months later. We purchased a medium-pile carpet and it is matted down and will hardly stand back up even after vacuuming. It feels rough and looks very old... again it's only been six months. I called him to ask him to come out and look at the carpet because I thought it was defective. He told me that the carpet needs professionally cleaned every six months whether it needs it or not...????? There are no stains... it's just horribly worn. I asked him to come out and look at it regardless and to also quote me on getting my upstairs finished (until this point I thought we might just have a bad piece of carpet). He would not return my call and hasn't since - it's been a month. When he sold us the carpet he told me that if I had any problems in the next 20 years just to call him and he's replace it if he couldn't get a stain out. We don't have stains, but there's no way that this carpet is going to last us another six months. It's honestly terrible. I'm embarrassed to have people come over!
Description of Work: Purchased carpet for 4 rooms in our home at a price of about $3500. Carpet was installed by two of Martin's employees (these guys were friendly and seemed to do good work).

Mr. reinhardt told us to contact him if there were any problems all installation was lifetime warrenty and stainmaster was 20 years. Six months later the carpet started bleaching out in non traveled areas and continues to grow orange spots that were professionally cleaned but don't come out. Thyese are not stains but bleached areas the cleaner told us probably from defective carpet or something spilloed on the pad. Reinhardt refuyses to answer our calls aor even come out to look at the problem
Description of Work: Reinhardt flooring inc. installed a 20 year dupont stainmaster. Installation went ok except they ran out of carpet and had to finish one stairs with a different kind.
