7 years ago we had the well pump replaced. For 7 years we had orange water and barely any water pressure. Not even enough to use a garden hose. Only answers we got was this is normal and may take a while until it settles. Or we can come back and replace it again. We had to replace all toilets because of staining, clothes and more. Well I’ve been in the construction business for 39 years and this was not acceptable to me. We used a recommended co. Results were they measured the depth of the well. 220’. Pulled the pump and pump was sat at the bottom 220’ completely caked in sediment. The new co raised the pump and it’s perfect. Water pressure, you name it, it all works.

We used them forever. They are absolutely great.

They are good. It was very helpful. When they came out, they said they would do it for under $500.00 and they did.

They did a good job. Three people came out for the job and they were fine.

The plumber came out, was on time and took care of my plumbing problem. He did an excellent job. He was really neat and cleaned up after himself. He did everything perfect. I called the company after the work was completed to thank them for sending out an efficient worker. I wasn't paying him for just his time, it was for the experience. He went above and beyond because he showed me a reset button and gave me a little knowledge about the pipe before having to call a plumber for future issues.

The plumber that came out did a good job, BUT I was charged a "flat rate", i.e., ripoff, price of $260 to correct a leaky faucet in my laundry room. I complained to no avail. Unless you have money to burn, look elsewhere. Total bill came to over $480!!

They came out. They were extremely friendly. Other than charging too much, I thought he was very personal, very friendly and didn't screw anything up. They were very pleasant and very nice. They were great.

I called OPH because we had loud bubbling in our powder room toilet when we ran our washing machine. OPH sent someone out, same day - told in the afternoon...so no exact time, which wasn't a problem as we were home. I asked Rob about pricing and told him we had a $25 coupon through Angies list. He said that was fine to print the coupon and that it is $65 to send someone and if there was work to be done it is $135 per hour, per man. This bubbling has happened on numerous occasions. Tony came out and was very nice and informative. He ran my washing machine twice, once a shortened cycle, and a full cycle the second time - the bubbling did not happen. He checked our pipes and listed to the outside pipe as I flushed each of the toilets and said everything was open. When they wrote out the bill, it was for $166.00, minus the $25.00 coupon for a total of $141.00 charge. I called because I thought it was $65 and then if there was work to be done it is $135.00 per hour. He said yes, he was there for 3/4 an hour plus the $65 for him to come to my house. I was taken back, because I felt like that was not explained properly when I first inquired and frankly, he didn't do ANYTHING. I thought the $65 was sufficient for his 3/4 of an hour in my house. They would not budge saying he has a fully stocked and insured truck and this is the industry norm. I should have never called OPH, seeing the high price notes from previous customers, but I feel, as a customer that I was totally taken advantage of. I will not be calling them again, even if the bubbling does happen. I will find a plumber with more reasonable prices and be sure to ask many, many clarifying questions before I ask them to come out. And I would hope that they would take note that they didn't have to do any work when charging me. I should have become a plumber because as an educated professional I don't make anything close to what they are charging an hour. Beware - They will overcharge you! 1/16 Update - First load of laundry this morning and the bubbling happened. I've e-mailed a video to Rob at OPH showing the bubbling and ask that his company come back and fix the problem and put the hourly rate I was charged yesterday towards actually fixing the problem. I also advised them, after suggesting this yesterday, that we've researched this and it could be a vent on the roof that is blocked and needs to be snaked. We will see what happens...

The installation was great. Professional personnel. However, job was significantly more expensive then initially indicated by person who did the estimate - next time I'll request a written quote versus verbal that was provided. The work was not required, I just wanted to avoid potential future issues - thus approached them for estimate in advance of work. If estimate was what I was finally billed, I would have probably sough out a few competing bids.

We've used Oxford Plumbing and Heating, always with excellent results, for many decades and will continue to use them.

They were awesome. Had an issue and they were promptly here to rectify the small problem.

the sales consultant was attentive to our needs and desires, helpful and informative, quick to respond to phone calls and emails. the installers were thorough, careful, professional, polite, tidy. so far everything works well!

We needed a replacement for a hot water recirculating pump. Oxford Plumbing and Heating came out promptly to give us an estimate. The estimate was actually lower than one from another company. They came out as scheduled and installed the pump. We noticed that the pump did not work as we had anticipated and called the office. They returned our call promptly and were very attentive to our concerns. They returned to check that everything was installed ok, which it was, but could not figure out why we were still not getting hot water as anticipated. They quickly scheduled representatives from the pump company to come to our home. It was determined that a different pump would suit our needs better. The new pump was ordered and installed with very little delay. Oxford Plumbing and Heating even called to follow up several days later to make sure everything was working okay. We were extremely impressed with their service and would not hesitate to call them again for any future needs..

The installation went well. The plumbing technician was on time, courteous and answered my questions (some that didnt apply to the current job). After the job was complete and the HW heater had run for a while, I smelled propane. I contacted OPH and the on call technician promptly called me back. He was able to smell the propane and his detector went off, but no visible bubbles from the leak test. He tightened a fitting on the probane valve and the smell went away, but his detector still went off. Instead of just dismissing this as normal, he ordered a replacement propane valve. This is a part from the manufacturer not OPH. So once the part arrived, they came out the same day and replaced it.

He came out and counted all of the supply and return vents and commented on the balance. He measured every room and determined the size of the unit needed, discussed the options thoroughly, and we came to an agreement. They compared favorably with the second bid and seemed more knowledgeable, so the next week they installed the units and the additional ductwork. It only took them one day. They showed us how to use the programmable thermostat and cleaned up, taking all of the trash away. We are so happy with the product and the service. Our old air conditioner and heater would shake the house. Now, you have to listen carefully to tell if it's running. Amazing. Right now, there is no extremes in temperature outside, but we are familiar with the efficiency of the variable speed technology and are confident that it will serve us well in extreme temperatures.

Carrier Infinity unit went into "call Service Provider" mode. there is a way to pull codes off the stat but I'm no repair guy. wanted to establish a contact w local company that was Carrier certified. Called, got live person on the phone, they took my info and scheduled me for the next day which was great. tech arrived at scheduled time and diagnosed issue, loose wires, tightened wires, and tested system. everything went like is should. tech tested freon in the system and reported it was fine. In my head I paid him to do this even though the systems was working fine. Thought price was a little high for this type of repair. took 1.5 hrs. $75 service fee (which I understand) and 175 for the fix. Happy with the repair etc just in my head this was a sub $200 fix. I will use them again.

After using them for all these years for service, we found a better brand that was much more reasonable and are very happy with our new provider. It's disappointing since we try to use local service people from our area whenever possible. Top of the line Carrier heat pumps should not need to be trashed in 12 years. They need to switch brands to service their customers better.

My water heater was leaking. I called at 9:00. They were here by 12:30 and my new water heater was installed by 3:30. Very professional, friendly and helpful.

I had never used this company before, but they responded very quickly to my emergency call on a Saturday night (no water), came out right away, diagnosed the problem (switch for well pump had shorted out) and fixed it on the spot. Later the same weekend my water heater sprung a leak. Again, very prompt response and replaced water heater in a matter of hours. Water heater sounded expensive, but came with excellent warranty and very quick service, I was quite happy.

Contractor showed up on time as promised.Had enough help to work on both systems at the same time.They obviously had a well planed system for removal and installation. They worked very well together.During the 8hr day they completed all the work and tested the system before leaving,removed all the old parts and did a complete clean up.The tech rep.reviewed the system start up and all the equipment that was installed. The following day the company rep.came by to go over all the work that was done.
