As stated above my over all experience with Russell Roofing was excellent.

On time, more expensive than others (but I got top quality work). I have used them 3 times and will call them next time I need roof work.

Very well. Team was efficient polite and kept us informed throughout the job.

The work crew arrived promptly. All of them were professional and respectful. The job was completed ahead of schedule. Explained and answered questions.

Ron Hall came out on Friday, February 17, to evaluate our roof and attic to provide us an estimate for adding ventilation to our attic to prevent future mold issues. He was very professional and especially knowledgeable, and although the information he shared was not what he were hoping to hear, it was what we needed to know. In the end because of our roof design, he felt he would not be able to provide the service we needed at a price we could afford. He was very straightforward in explaining the work and the expense needed to properly examine our soffit structure to see if soffit ventilation could be provided, while also providing other intake ventilation alternatives. In the end he proposed and different alternative which would be to insulate the attic space and turn it into a living area, which would increase also increase the value of our home. After comparing the various solutions Ron gave us, we would up going with the option of insulating the attic to turn it into a future living space... So, although we did not wind up using their service, based on the positive experience we have from the estimate Ron provided, we definitely would recommend this company to anyone who needs roofing work, and Russell Roofing will be the first we call or any future roofing work we may need.

He arrived early and was very knowledgeable about the type and age of the house. Although he was familiar, I still wanted him to go up and see the roof and he did so. Haven't used them yet.

Job #6012021: Job took 1.5 days. All workers were knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Usable slate tiles were set aside as requested in a thoughtful pile. Cleaned up yard and debris upon completion of work. It has been 1.5 months since the job was completed and we have no issues to report at this time. Thank you Russell Roofing.

Eric was on time & extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of roofing. He understood our concerns & was able to articulate solutions in a clean & concise manner.

I had Russell perform a larger job to replace 3/4 of my roof a few years ago and had an outstanding experience. They did not need to replace the slate portion of my roof at that time, as it is wearing well and just needs fine tuning every few years. This year was one of those years. I had a few slate pieces that needed to be replaced. I feel they do excellent quality work. I rated them a B on price only because they have a minimum slate pricing. I only needed a couple of slates replaced, but I had to be charged for several more to meet the minimum. Since I want to stay ahead of any problems, I went ahead and had the work done anyway. Overall, I have recommended them to many others for their quality work.

Ok! The workers were great, polite, friendly and professional. They cleaned up after they were done. The administration staff could improve on communication.

The sells rep for Russell was super nice and was on time both visits we had. We did not go with Russell because we had 4 other Roofing Contractors besides Russell come out and we were blown away with one of the 5 we had come out for a estimate. I had a structural issue with my roof and Russell could not give me a exact price to fix the issue until they opened the roof up and then at that time cost would be time and material on top of the estimate we were given. We did not like that option because we did not know if it would have been 500.00 or 5K to repair the rafters. The company we went with gave us a exact price to replace all the rafters so there would be no surprises at all. Like I said the sells rep was very nice and I am sure Russell does some really great work. Thank you for your time Russell Roofing.

They kept us informed on the expected timeframe and actual date of work. They completed the work timely, called to update during the work, kept the site clean and did not create any problems with the neighbors.

The sales representative was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the various options for our roof which actually helped us when we interviewed other roofing companies.

Matt Mahoud came out to our home (purchased in 9/2011) on 10/5/2011 to assess our roof and gutters. Matt was very professional, thorough, courteous, and friendly. We've enjoyed working with him throughout the process. He was always very responsive and returned phone calls promptly. Matt found that our roof was in good shape and provided us with a letter of evaluation that we submitted to our home insurance company. (Thanks, Matt!) We knew that our porch gutters needed to be replaced because it looked like Niagara Falls in front of our house every time it rained, so Matt put together an estimate and work order for these gutters and downspouts to be replaced. The work also included installation of a 2nd floor downspout and extensions to direct the water flow. Matt estimated that our job would be completed within 4-5 weeks. In the end, it took about twice that amount of time before our job came up in Russell's work schedule. The work was performed on 12/8/2011. We are very happy with the gutters. They look good and they are working well. After the initial installation, we weren't completely satisfied with the Y-extension that Russell installed on our 2nd floor downspout since it wasn't exactly what we had discussed with Matt back in October. Matt was great about fixing this. So that the job didn't have to go back into the normal work rotation (in which case, it might have taken a couple of weeks to get fixed), Matt promptly came out twice on his own time to correct the Y-extension and finish connecting our porch downspout. (Thanks again, Matt!) In the end, we are very pleased with how the project turned out. There was a silver lining with the delay regarding the gutter work. While we were waiting to come up in Russell's work schedule, we noticed that our attic hatch was falling apart and needed to be rebuilt. Matt came out to assess this problem in early November and, since we were still about 4 weeks out in their schedule, he was able to append the attic hatch job onto the original job -- again saving us from having to go to the bottom of the work rotation.

The fellow was very knowledgeable. I found that their estimate was much higher than the other company. They had professional contract. The fellow came and walked up to the attic. I would use them in the future.

We have a leaking ceiling in one of the bedrooms. When we called Russell Roofing company to check the problem and give estimate, they said Tom will be responding. Promptly, Tom has called us and scheduled appointment to see the problem. He tried to gather most of the information over the phone, and he was very upfront and honest about what services he/his company performs, and what will work out best for me. Schedule we setup did not work due to conflicts. However, as he was in the vicinity of our city next day, he called and let me know that he will come and see the problem at a given time. He was there and saw the problem. He has told honestly that it is going to be expensive to engage them for that kind of problem, and he has advised us to contact plumber/handy man who would be best fit to fix the problem. He went out of his way, and put a temporary patch to seal the hole time being until some one can permanently fix the problem. He did not charge any thing for this which is very generous of him. One other thing I liked: he was very professional, polite and clear in all of his conversations and set expecations properly.

They did well. Their communication was not good; I had to keep calling them because I don't think they thought I was going to do the roof. When they saw that I was serious they got a little bit better with their communication. It was a long wait and I think that they overbooked. I had to wait almost a month to get my roof done. We had a storm which caused roofing problems so I think many people were in need of getting their roofs done. Other than that it was very good. It is a beautiful roof and I love it. They were overpriced. They were on time.
