Great. 1) We had Russell give us a price on repairing the back part of our house gutter. They were willing to try to repair instead of reinstall a new section. We opted for a new section because the gutter was pretty bent up already from the previous owner. They did the work timely and perfectly. 2) We received a coupon for gutter cleaning from Russell due to previous work they've done at our house. We scheduled the service, they came out and did the work. We met the technician who was very nice and pleasant. We think the price and quality is spot on. We feel that Russell might be a little higher in price than others, you get what you pay for. If you want it done right and perfect, we would use them again in a heartbeat.

Install went very smooth.. Angelo and Greg performed the install and it was done quickly and professionally. They even were nice and cleared a downspout. Unexpected and greatly appreciated They were familiar with my home and the skylight config, since they had done work on my neighbor's house. Only issue is the amount of time it took to get the install scheduled, but some of that has to do with the time of year the work is being performed.

They quoted me $10,000 for the repair and the replacement bid ranged between $20000- $26000 depending upon the choice of materials. It was excellent and they were very professional. I am still considering what to do. I will probably get a second bid from someone else but I have been too busy to do it and I may end up going with their bid. I had no complaints at all. I just felt that their process was very straightforward with no pressure. The review material prepared was good. The man who looked at the roof and came back a week later with the bid was thorough and professional.

They made repairs to leaking roof around chimney and down edge of roof on both sides from Hurricane Sandy damage. Work done was Very satisfactory. Roof had been repaired once by another company but still leaked and they never corrected their repairs, just said we needed a new roof. Roof is less than 10 years old. On Aug 23,2013, Russell was doing work on our street and we called them over to look at our problem and they not only climbed up and looked at it but they explained what needed to be done and gave us a price right then. They were very professional, courteous, thorough, and easy to do business with. I would recommend them. Our only issue was that it took over a month and a half to get the repairs completed- but after waiting for a scheduled work date, we made a phone call they were out in two days.

Sandy was on time. pleasant and seemed to know his business. He looked at the window and thought it was a normal replacement, no problems. He never went up on the roof to check that issue out. He claimed he was coming back with a roofing supervisor. I asked him to call when he was coming. He did not call or as far as I know come out. Two weeks later I contacted them and Ron Hall their sales supervisor called. I asked why they could not do the work> He said there were too many panes. This made no sense. I was not repairing panes I wanted the window replaced. You remove the old and put in the new one, pretty straightforward. If they can't do that what can they do. He said I should use a general contractor and wished me better luck. I would not recommend them.

Due to unclear circumstances, the work began 9 week slater than promised date. However, the work progresses in a timely and professional manner. Final outcome was excellent and they reduced the final payment for our inconvenience.

Everything went as planned. They arrived at the prearranged appointment time to give us an estimate. Once we agreed, they set up a time to do the actual repair. Again they showed up on time and completed the work same day. They were professional, neat and did a great job.

Very well, team showed up on time and completed the job on schedule. Also provided good description of issues encountered with previous skylight which I found helpful.

The company's masons were prompt, efficient, courteous, and respectful of property from start to finish.

I am overall very pleased with Russell Roofing. This is the 2nd time I've used them for repairs and would use them again. I've got an aging slate roof that needs periodic repairs and their work is excellent. This time around I needed my chimney repointed and a worn out valley replaced. Their prices are not the least expensive I got when getting various quotes for this work. But I do not mind paying a little more for good work. They spotted problem areas (and photographed them so I could see what they were talking about) that other roofing companies totally missed. In this case you really do get what you pay for and I would much rather know that the work is done right. The roofers and masons that came out to do the work were very knowledgeable and professional. They cleaned up the area very well too after they were done. I would definitely use them again.

Roofer arrived on time, reattached the loose gutter quickly and left.

I cannot say enough about Sandy Pickard, the Russell Roofing rep, who came to my house and quickly diagnosed the source of a leak in my roof over the last few years. Several other roofers over the years had thought the problem to be due to caulking issues, but Sandy quickly realized that the prior installation had been done incorrectly (which was confirmed by other reputable roofers who also bid on the job). He came to my house to review the bid and was very thorough in making sure that extra venting was provided for the roof, as well as a diverter for the chimney. The job went very smoothly, and their warranty was without exception (50 yrs on the shingles, 25 years for labor). Given the reputation of Russell Roofing, if there is a problem, they are likely to still be in business (so that was reassuring). During the early installation, a leak occurred during a freak thunderstorm. Sandy took responsibility and deducted the ceiling repair from our final bill. This is the type of contractor you want to work with. Although a bit on the high side, you get what you pay for. Responsive, fair, and dedicated to customer service. Thank you Sandy.

Russell Roofing was able to send a representative out to provide an estimate within three days of my call...accessible. Their representative was, punctual, courteous, responsive, knowledgeable, honest, and the roofing bid was competitively priced (not the lowest out of four, but close?although this shouldn?t always be the bottom line). Unfortunately, they were not immediately available to do the work which is why I decided not to go with them. However, I would call them again in an instant, and highly recommend them to anyone looking for roofing work.

Russell roofing was able to get a 2 man crew to our home within a couple of hours. We had called several other roofers who could not get out to us that day. They arrived from about a hour away, in the early evening and worked in the rain. The leaks are stopped. We were very appreciative of their efforts since we had 2 additional large downpours that night after they left.

The project manager estimated 5 days for the work and provided a detailed plan of what would happen. With the arrival of a dumpster on the morning of day 1 to the clean up at the end of day 5, the project progressed as planned. The men arrived each day at 8 and worked through to 5. Very professional. We just finished a final inspection with the foreman and we are extremely satisfied with the work. We now have 20" of insulation and a much better attic venting system and the second floor is significantly cooler in the 95F weather we are experiencing. Although the Angie's reviews indicated that Russell Roofing was more expensive than most, the statements that they were a company to be counted upon to do the job right won us over. We elected to get GAF shingles with a 50 year transferable warranty. We now await the GAF inspector to certify the job. GAF provides the warranty based on proper installation. Should be no problem as Russell jobs rarely fail the inspection. You get what you pay for.

They sent out a newly hired sales rep who was still training. He was a nice enough young man but apparently Russell believes in on the job training at their prospective customers' expense. It took him quite a while to measure my roof - about an hour. Most roofers it took less than thirty minutes. When the estimate came back it was twice as high as the other bids and not including ridge vents and other items included as standard on the other estimates. The most disappointing thing about their estimate was the lack of the scope of the work. It never stated the size of my roof which was clearly stated in the other estimates nor did it say how they would treat the valleys and other areas of concern. It's obvious to me that this was a nuisance bid for Russell Roofing and they have no interest in doing shingle roofs of about 3,500 square feet unless you want to pay twice the going rate.

I used Russell Roofing and they were very nice. After 10 years I had leeks. Russell Roofing came out and asked me why I had a certain type of roof on my flat roof? I responded, I don't know, you put the roof on. They told me I needed an entire new roof. That's after 10 years. Here's the important thing to know: THE WARRENTY THEY USE!!! They wanted nothing to do with me or my problems. They referred me to the warrenty company. DON"T USE RUSSELL ROOFING! Their warrenty stinks. Use a company that stands behind their workmanship! Use a company that will help you! DON"T USE THEM!!!!

We had two skylights in our sunroom that had been leaking for years. We got bids from many companies and all wanted to tear off the roof and put in new skylights to the tune of about $5,000 except for Russell Roofing. They said the original skylights were the wrong kind for our roof and all we needed was the right kind. They installed two new skylights and left the roof alone which was in good shape. The installation was in April. We've had tons of rain since then and not one drop inside. They were professional and very neat and clean. I would recommend them very highly to anyone.

Two men team was on time and worked well, Russell Roofing is not the cheapest roofer around, but I think it is the best.

The job was all done within a couple of days. The price was very reasonable. The job went great. We were very pleased. Russell Roofing Company Inc. were very timely in getting back to us. They came right out that same day to give us a quote. They stood by their quote, which other people did not.

Overall, the experience was terrific. They gave me an estimate right away, and completed the work in about 2 weeks. The day that they did the work, they showed up promptly and started working right away. By noon, they were finished and had cleaned up the entire work area. The roof looks great and I'm very please with the results. The price was very competitive and the materials were top notch Certainteed shingles. I woud definitely use Russell Roofing again!

He was thorough, pleasant and seemed knowledgeable enough. He insisted that Russell was the best and only one of the two contractors that hand nailed in this area. I asked when I would received a quote for the project. I was told that it would be emailed to me. This never happened. The only email was a brochure. So I contacted him and asked where the estimate was. He replied he wanted to stop by and go over the document in person. It was a seven page proposal with an astronomical price when compared to another quote I received in the mail a couple of days later due to that contractor writing my email address incorrectly. I don't understand why hand nailing is thousands of dollars more or if this company is just trying to rip me off. He did say it would take his crew two full days versus the other contractor only one. He also claimed most roofers don't know how to install a roof left alone nail the shingles on properly! My roof is not that large, only one gable and I am in a townhouse development. He did make it a point to say if I could get the person next door to me where the gable is shared, we would both get a small discount. It was also interesting to note that the "warranty" did not include installation (workmanship) errors. I'm not sure if I will use this company...

They were on time every day. They were very clean and polite. They worked hard and did very good work. When they finished the job, they cleaned everything up and made sure they took care not to damage my shrubs around the house. The roof and sky light looks great!

The workmen were on time covered necessary areas for protection finished job in estimated time boundaries and cleaned up well. Price was reasonable.
