I found their name on Angie's List. I think they are outstanding. They cleaned the flu, did maintenance and got dead animals out. I think they are very good, they were very thorough and I thought they gave us a fair price considering the other quotes I got. They would tell me what they could do for a price with different options as opposed to some companies that said you have to do this and you have to do all of this now and for 4 or 5 times the price Jamison's quoted. I appreciated the fact that they did the priority stuff first and broke it down for us so we could make a fully informed decision. They did an outstanding job with the work, not only cleaning it out but putting the cap on the chimney. I thought it was a reasonable price. The bottom line is they did a great job.

I am waiting for the weather to break and get much better before I use their services. I was very impressed when they came out with the information they gave me. They were very professional. They came out two days after I called them so they were very responsive. They were very professional.

We prepared a bid package and sent to 4 area contractors who ranked well on angies list. Of the 4 one called me and said the job was too big for them, One two bids were close together and one was approx. 2.5 time the two other bids. Jamison was one of the two bids that were close together. Jamison was the only contractor who came out to see the sight and talk to us. That was the reason we choice them. We were concerned that even though our bid package contained a drawing and marked up photos of the site showing what we wanted, we might still have a contractor who had not come to the site tell us that he misunderstood the package and there would be an increased cost. Jamison performed the job as specified and I would say over and above what we expected. They cleaned up as well as could be expected given the muddy ground they had to work with and the grass is coming back as i write this.

First, apologies that I've just now gotten around to writing this review. Jamison did an excellent job, so they deserved a more timely response from me. Mario came out for estimate and to discuss issues. He was extremely knowledgeable and confident. He was a bit hesitant to do the work because of the commute to our house from their offices, but finally agreed to it by promptly sending me a written estimate via email and regular mail. Highly professional contract. It took a few weeks to have the work started due to other projects they had ongoing. I saw that as a good thing, as I knew he was well utilized. Once the work started, the horrible heat of 2010 began in mid-May. Patching was done, but it was tough for Jamison to find time to do the sealing work with the high heat because it would compromise the quality of the work and the safety of the employees. Work did not continue until temps came down into the 80's. I viewed this approach to safety and quality as highly positive. Paint matching was also an issue for Mario. The original contract only covered sealing of 2 of the 5 faces of the front (the 2 that needed patching). However, the sealant color did not match the native stucco. Mario gave us several options. We chose to add painting to the contract for the 2 faces so that it would match the rest of the house. However, finding a paint color that would blend optimally was difficult and required several trips from Jamison to test. Kudos to Mario for his perseverance and dedication to our small project. He finally found a paint to match and finished the job. Although the job took a lot longer and a lot more effort for him to complete, Mario gave us excellent pricing on the painting upgrade and never once showed any sign of frustration. His workers were likewise professional and tidy. They took great care with our property. We will definitely use Jamison again!

First time work did not correct problem. Then very hard to get them to come back to fix it. Many messages not returned because it was a "little job" and kept getting deferred Eventually came back and hopefully leak is corrected.

Very prompt, professional. I did have to call them to come back to fix a small section, but they came the next day and took care of it.

There was a delay in starting the job but this was expected due to their backlog of work. However, once started the work went smoothly and rapidly. The Jamison crews were hard working and professional. The stone wall they built looks beautiful. They cleaned the site when they were done. I was very pleased with this contractors performance.

Their estimate was very high but it's the only estimate I received so I'm not sure if I'll end up using the company. I do think they're a good company. They responded to everything I asked and they brought me references. I think they're a responsible company and they handle their customers well.So far they're the only estimate I've received.

My experience with them so far has been good. They are professional and communicate very well. They stay in touch with you, which was good. They explain what they are doing.

The work is down to two companies now. What we liked about him was their professionalism and friendliness and their response is getting back to us. It was good, and they were pretty responsive. I would give them an A if we had chosen them, but we are not sure yet.

I received the estimate in January and work was performed in April because of the weather-sensitive nature of the job. The price was 1/2 of what other companies quoted to me. Their worker came early on the agreed-to date and was done by mid afternoon. He was polite and his work looks great...very nicely finished. I will hire them for my concrete work in a few weeks.

The price was a little high, but they did what they said they would do in a timely manner. They cleaned up and it all worked out well. They did come out to give me an estimate for another job, but the price seemed high.

The price was okay. They did the work this month. I would use them again in the future if I needed to.

Jamison Masonry followed up with us and came out and not only properly fixed the install of the insert but also provided a chimney cleaning as well - all for no charge. They sincerely apologized for the first round of service. Overall the specified work was completed. Initial estimate was completed and on the install day the new liner was installed and the insert (with blower) placed in the old fireplace opening. They improperly measured the opening, resulting in a gap at the top of the insert. We were told they could order an extra piece for the top (for extra $) and it would be ready in a week. They set the insert up so it would be functional until part came in- we started a fire that night and they didn't set the pipe on top of the stove securely so we got smoke in the house and the blower wasn't properly installed. Clearly they were in a hurry for the weekend. They did come right out the next week to fix the pipe but the blower still wasn't correctly installed. After a month we finally have a stove that looks good and functions properly but would like to have had it fixed sooner.

The sales person was very knowledgeable and gave me a written estimate of the work to be performed. The work had to be rescheduled due to a rain storm, and the administration staff were pleasant to deal with and helpful in finding a new convenient date. The technician who performed the work was very professional and did a thorough job in removing and replacing the mortar with hydraulic (water proof) cement. Everything was cleaned up after the work. I would recommend them and use them again.

They were wonderful. Mr Jim Mooney came out and gave me an estimate. He was terrific. He gave me many options and was very honest. He then mailed me a detailed estimate that gave me 4 options. What a pleasant experience! I had gotten 4 or 5 other estimates none of them were anywhere close to being as professional as this company was. They showed up when they said they would and the work was done on time. Nothing was left behind for me to clean up. I would use them again.

We were very pleased with them. The price was competitive and what we wanted to spend. There was no compromising of the price.

Very well. Two very nice gentlemen installed the system in two days. They worked very hard. They dug an eight foot long whole for the outside pipe on one of the coldest days this year and didn't even complain. They just couldn't do enough to ensure that my basement work was completed professionally. There was one mix up. I should have had an electrician available to set up a power source for the pump. My old basement does not have many outlets. So I had this done the following week and we tested the pump out, which worked fine. The system has been exposed to several days of rain and so far no water in the basement.

I thought the estimate was very pricey. They were prompt and responsive in their service.

They had a higher estimate but they estimated on more work, which we really didn't need to have done.

The work turned out really well. They quality of work was good. There was a problem with the sidewalk that they came back and fixed free of charge which I thought was very professional. The problem came up several months after they did the work. I would have preferred that it was done correctly the first time but ultimately the quality was great.

Guy came out on time and gave what seemed to be an accurate and honest inspection of repairs needed. Price was reasonable but we decided to wait until next year to have the fireplace repaired.

Things went very well from the call for an estimate through completion. The company responded quickly for my request for a quote. They showed up when we had agreed for the quote and later for the work. The crew I worked with was punctual, professional, a team worked on the project from the first day through the completion with no gaps. I had to have forms completed for insurance purposes and they were completed and returned to me very quickly. At the completion of the job, the areas they worked were neatly cleaned. I was moving several large items to my basement during this time and each time one of the crew saw me they immediately offered to help me though it was not their job.

Was somewhat disappointed with their service. Price quote was for patch parging of basement walls and crawl space, repair of cracked concrete step + miracote finishing. First, they did not show on the appointed day (a day I had taken off from work) and when i called I was told that the scheduler had taken the day off. Although the scheduler was appropriately apologetic later, this was an inconvenience. Regarding the service, I felt that they did the bare minimum on the job. There were areas of the basement wall that could have used parging but were not addressed. In the end I decided to cut my losses with them and finish additional masonry work around the house with another contractor. I suspect that they may be more oriented toward larger corporate jobs, and that smaller residential jobs are not their priority.

I dealt with Mark at the Media office. He came out and explained the work needed and provided options. They arrived when they said they would. They took the time to cover any are that they might walk over. The work was completed over a three day period. They kept me informed of their progress. The work was good quality.
