The job was completed in two days. The foreman took the time to make sure I fully understood the process and answered any question I had. The two man crew prepared the basement by covering our many items with sheeting to minimize dust. On day one the 1 foot wide cement basement flooring was removed (by jack hammer). A high volume negative air fan was used to remove dust from the basement during the process. On day two the drain was installed, sump pump installed, and the trench cemented. The crew did an excellent job of cleaning up and we are very happy with the result.

We got an estimate as part of an inspection when we bought the house. Their estimate was higher than the seller would have liked and he got his own company to counter at a lower rate. Upon looking into it, though, the materials that Jamison uses are of much higher quality. We thought it was worth it and decided to go with Jamison - glad we did.They were flexible in scheduling a time that worked for us and were right on time when the day came. Two men came to do the job and they were both very professional. The job took just over three hours, just like they said it would in the estimate. We will definitely use this company for other jobs in the future.

From start to finish, the process went very smoothly. Jamison answered my first call immediately and scheduled an estimate visit. Dave came on time, asked a lot of questions, and took measurements in order to make the estimate. I received the estimate a couple of days later. Both Dave and other Jamison staff were very responsive to my calls and emails with additional questions. We had other A-list contractors from Angie's List come out, who were all very professional too, but Jamison gave us the most competitive estimate so we selected them. The work crew came out on the scheduled date and they were very punctual. They were all very professional and Steve, the supervisor, explained all the steps and checked in with me a few times to see if I had any questions. They finished the job in one day and left the work space clean and in order. It was an excellent experience.

Came out propmply, was courteous and submitted detailed quote. Quote was 30% above the average of 5 quotes (including Jamisons). Did not hire.

After many years of problems with water coming into our basement from the single basement window well and window, I decided to do something about it. Initially I requested a quote from a handyman who had done various work around the house and he submitted a quote and plan but it was exceptionally expensive and wouldn't really have relieved any issues. So I called Jamison... A very nice and woman answered my call on the second ring, took down my information and scheduled an estimator to come out to look at my areas of concern. One the appointed day and time, Dave from Jamison showed up promptly and proceeded to accompany me into the basement and then into the yard area while I proceeded to tell him of my issues and concerns. He was very friendly and engaging, and professional. He knew all about my problem and outlined a multi-part solution. He promised me a quote upon his return to the office, and sure enough, it arrived that same day. It was very reasonable given the scope of the work. On the scheduled day and time, Steve, the Jamison foreman, and his helper showed up promptly, and I outlined the work, and they got right to work. Initially Dave told me that they could get the work done in a day, but Steve and his tech worked tirelessly for less than 4 hours and were done. They did a fabulous job! They respected the property ( I had landscape stones in the area where they were working and they carefully moved them aside); constantly showed me their progress, both inside and out, and completed the job with virtually zero mess and return the landscape to its original state! I now have a professionally installed window well and very nice glass block window... I only wish I'd called Jamison sooner!

When I first called, Deb answered and set up a time for Jim to come out and give me an estimate. I called other companies and not one of them followed through! After a week of waiting for other companies, I called Jamison and hired them. They wanted to come out when we were on vacation and we were unsure. They said they just needed water and electricity, so we said okay. We ended up being there anyway due to an illness in the family. They started by erecting a scaffolding around the chimney. They proceeded to chip off the cracked stucco and then they wired and re-stuccoed the chimney. They were neat and very courteous and professional.

In general I was very pleased with the work done and the construction crew. The crew foreman, Steve, was courteous and kept me informed of progress. The rest of the crew was polite and appeared competant. Everything in the basement was covered with plastic to protect it from dust. The project took 2 1/2 days and Dave the project estimator came by to check on progress one time. A couple of small issues with the work were addressed quickly by the crew after I contacted Dave a week after the end of the project, I had an issue with the exterior window well drain finish job. It appeared to be rather shabily addressed. An interior cement job was left unfinished and the exterior underground dry sump was located questionably too close to the foundation. The crew fixed the first 2 items the day after Dave came to see the issues described. I agreed to leave the exterior sump pit as is with the understanding that it may perform properly at that distance. All in all I'm pleased with my project and am waiting for the first major wet weather period to assess its performance. Jamison addressed my concerns in an expedicious manner and I would use their services again. I would suggest that future customers just keep track of their project and check up on the fit and finish work. Jamison rapidly addresses problems. I would also suggest to Jamison that a project manager, like Dave, stop by before the crew is released to assess the job with the customer to prevent oversights that need to be adressed after the fact, as in our case with some fit and finish issues.

Everything went very well until I had some concerns with the work on the stucco in the back of my house. My wife and I felt that the stucco could have been applied a little better to hide the outline of where the window used to be. We were under the impression it would have been blended in a bit better. I contacted the rep the same day of my concerns and he said he'd be out that weekend to look at it. He didn't show up. I contacted him again the following Monday and he said he'd be out later that week and again, he never showed up. I contacted him a third time and asked if he'd come back out and he said he would, but again, he didn't. I then contacted his home office to complain about the customer service and I received a phone call back in about 2 hours. Why did it take me calling the home office to receive a call back. The rep came out to my house to view the stucco and sent me a new quote for more money. If he would have just told me that was the best they could have done, I wouldn't have had a problem. But the fact that I contacted him three times and he said he'd come back out and never did is what bothered me. Too bad, because I was really happy with the work they did on the side of my house and received compliments from my neighbors. This really just came down to communication and lack of customer service.

They are very straightforward, kind and did a beautiful job with both things. They also were clean and neat.

Repointed mortar joints around new basement windows and spot pointed mortar joints in stone foundation. Color was well matched. Patched various defective spots in stucco. Due to backlog, had to wait for work to be completed but thoroughly peased with work that was done.

The job supervisor, Mike Markey, was fantastic. We had a tight deadline under which to complete the work and he was able to rearrange his client schedule to fit us in. Originally, we engaged Jamison to repair and paint a portion of the stucco on our house. However, as that work was being completed, it became obvious that all of the stucco needed painting. Again, he was able to reallocate resources to get the job done on time. All the workers were very professional and the final results were aesthetically pleasing and structurally sound. Though the price was not the lowest we received, we relied on Jamison's top ratings on Angie's List to go with the company and we were not sorry with the quality of the work completed.

Overall, we were very pleased with Jamison and would highly recommend them to others. The bid was in line with others that we had received from companies that had come recommended, but they were going to do more for the price and they were very attentive and helpful. The work was scheduled and Mario communicated with us directly the whole time to let us know when the crew would be on-site. The crew was professional, knew what they were doing, and did a great job. The work was high quality and they were able to just about match our old discolored stucco on the bottom part of the chimney, which was a real feat. The job came in on-time, within budget and the job site was left clean and tidy throughout the process. At the end, my neighbors and I noticed that a block of our sidewalk in the area where the work was being conducted had been broken. We talked to Mario and he confirmed that it was a new break and made it right. We would use this company again and I will highly recommend them to others.

They did a good job cleaning up when they were finished. The repair seems good.

They seemed great. The price was three times more than who I ended up using, which is why I went elsewhere.

We had to complete some other work, not masonry related, so a general contractor was hired to do all of the projects but Jamison was very competitively priced and very professional to work with.

I would recommend them. They were prompt, thoughtful, efficient and followed through.

They were excellent. They showed up earlier than they were supposed to. They answered all of my questions. They were very nice. They cleaned up all the mess that they made. I actually asked the servicemen to leave some cards so I could recommend them to my neighbors.

The project went very well. We found the estimator and the other people at Jamison to be very professional. The work was done promptly and neatly. We have had several thunderstorms since the repair and so far no leakage into the garage. Yeah!

From the first time I talked to Diane, to the time that Mario came out and help us get a realistic estimate to use for our house buying negotiation, to actually performing the work agreed upon, the entire staff was great! We loved how close and quick Mario and his crew was able to come and fix our problem before we move in to our house. The guys came early morning, and I was able to meet with them before I get to work. Performed the work neatly and nicely, and cleaned up well! No complaints here. We will definitely call them back for more brickwork, masonry, and fixing our fireplace.
