We used Angie's list to obtain 3 quotes for service. Jamison required someone to be present during the review and quote process. Although this took time to coordinate with schedules, it resulted in the most responsive quote with the precision we requested. The other quotes provided more work than we had requested. Our Jamison contact was available for questions and followed up as needed. We signed on for the work prior to winter. As soon as spring arrived the work was scheduled and completed within target. The crew was punctual, respectful, knowledgeable, and cleanly. Post work, our Jamison contact came to review the results to ensure it was to our satisfaction. The whole process went smooth. And we're happy with the results.

They are ones we are going to go with. They quoted us $7595 for both the entire steps and the sides of the steps. There would be railings on it as well. They wouldn't write me a separate estimate for my portion of the steps so they did both.

One of the reasons I used them is because they're highly rated. I had a very good experience with them. They were here all day, made a big mess and they cleaned it all up. They did a great job and I was happy with that.

All the work was done very well and cleaned up. They explained what they used and how the work was done. They also said to call if any problems. Everything is fine.

They were very good. They gave us some insight on things that we didn’t have to do because of the age of the house. They did the work and we are pleased.

Jamison provided a fantastic experience for something that had been a thorn in our side for some time. We were getting water into our basement for sometime and knew that we needed to get it fixed. Jamison came to look at our basement and talked us through the process as well as provided several options for services that we could receive. It took a few days to finish up, but no water since! So thankful that this was an easy quick process.

I was very pleased with Jamison Home Services' work. They were wonderful to work with. Their willingness to work with the customer is exceptional and they really listen to what I was saying, what my issues and concerns were. I felt their pricing was fair and they're always here when they said they would be. They are everything to hope for with the contractor.

We are still in the process of coming up with a plan for the work but they have been tremendously responsive and communicative. I'll do a follow-up review once the project is finished.

They arrived on time, and were quick, efficient and clean. They pointed out repairs to the flue pipe that I should consider in the future, but they didn't feel it needed to be done right away.

Jamison was fantastic. The two guys who came were polite and courteous. They did an excellent job (we have been enjoying our chimney for a few months now). And best of all, they came back to us at the end of the job and reduced their price because the job went smoother than expected. I will absolutely use these guys in the future.

My only complaint is I thought the price included patching the drywall where they cut into to install the drain, which was about 6' tall by 5" wide, but it wasn't. Having said this, they did a great job and we have had no more water issues in that area.

I think the work was done well. However, based on what others have reported they paid on this site, I think I was probably overcharged. I had to get rush work done so I didn't have time to get multiple estimates. I had to pay $3,000 for work that was done in only about 1/2 a day. Then at the end they told me there was another chimney problem and gave me an estimate of another $2,500. I had another chimney expert come out and say there was no other problem. They were on time and did keep in constant contact.

Great! Of the three companies I had come out for estimates Mario's was the most extensive inspection and by far the least expensive estimate. When I asked him about things the other companies had said might happen "once they got in there" and said I was worried about my very old slate roof, he gave me a number they would not go above but said he doubted anything would come up he had not planned for and even though the job was not without some complications, there was no addition to the original estimate. The guys were courteous, friendly, thorough, quick and left the place a lot cleaner than they found it. They came around 8 a.m. and set up a scaffold so they did not have to step onto my roof and when I yelled up asking how the outside of the chimney looked, he said it could use a little work and I asked him if he could do it while he was up there. He said 'sure', had his mate pass send him up a little cement, and did it without charging me extra! (I don't think I am getting him in trouble for this because the general attitude of the company seems to be to do the best job for the best price and leave the customer happy). And they certainly did! The heat was only off for a few hours and they were cleaned up and gone by about 4. I will definitely call them for my future masonry, chimney or flue, and basement water-proofing needs. (Actually need all these :( I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM, especially if your house is old and huge. They really know what they are doing. Truthfully, the other places seemed afraid to tackle my job. Thank you, Jamison, for your professional, friendly attitude and excellent job. Oh, and for honoring my Angie's List discount even though I forgot to ask for it until after the estimate. Mario also gave me good advice about some questions I had about my other chimneys.

Provider arrived on time, was professional. We discussed what I wanted. I requested a few different estimates since the cost would determine exactly what work would be done. He took the necessary measurements and told me I would receive an estimate by email in a few days. I received the email and my jaw hit the floor. Jamison was the first estimate I had gotten so I expected the other estimates to be similar. I ended up getting about 6 different estimates and NO ONE was even close to what Jamison wanted to charge. They were almost double what I ended up paying and I didn't go with the cheapest estimate.

The company was responsive in coming to our home, assessing the situation and providing an estimate, they answered questions, they gave a time frame (5 weeks out) then followed up to set a date. The work team arrived on time, were courteous and respectful of our home, draped everything in plastic to protect from dust, were very professional about their work, answered questions and concerns and finished when they said they would. They went over with me (I was at home for the project) what they did and how it worked, They cleaned up and put things back as much as possible. (We still have dry walling repair which was not part of their contract.) While we have not yet had a catastrophic rain, we are confident that our flooding window wells will not be an issue. Would recommend them to our friends.

Never bothered to call me back. Even after I made a deposit. Cancelled job and they returned my deposit. Glad this happened used competitor and was very happy with them.

Great! The guys are terrific. Mario came by to provide an estimate and scope the job out. He was super knowledgeable. Really knew what he was doing and was able to provide great guidance on what needed to be done. The crew (Denny and Dan) showed up a few weeks later (they were super busy and had a 5 week wait time). The guy were right on time and did a great job. They managed to keep it to a minimal mess and got the work done in a timely fashion. They had to make a 2nd trip so that they could give the mortar time to dry but manage to work with our hectic schedule, showing up early and getting everything wrapped up within our window of availability. We can't wait to burn the first fires of the season!

The $3200 amount includes an additional $500 that was added to my estimate due to what they explained as unforeseen difficulties which required more man hours. I gave a C for professionalism because they were courteous, but left a lot of dust behind. Courteous would be A/B, but cleanliness would be C/D.

They did a great job with the stucco. They showed up when they said they would. I thought they were friendly and very responsive.

Got a quote from Jamison regarding two small cracks in our foundation which were seeping water when it rained very heavily. They came in and did a seal job from the inside, also placing a membrane over the repair to guide water under the foundation just in case they did seep water again. They have a lifetime warranty on their product, unlike some competitors which only warranty 5 years. The price was so close, I went with the warranty. Workers were very professional and they even gave my dogs a pat on the head when they came and left. Better still, no water now. Thank you Jamison.
