They started work right on time. They found a piece of skylight flashing that was covering the downspout opening (the gutter had been overflowing in heavy rains). They closely inspected my skylights and verified that all of mine were intact, and looked at the neighbors' skylights that were visible from my roof to see if they could find missing flashing (nothing was cpvisible). They cleaned all my gutters, and visually inspected all of the roof tiles, downspouts, and vent pipe collars. After they completed their work, they took the time to go everything they found. Very professional and courteous.

Did not get contacted for a week only after I sent a message. Rescheduled another date, no show, rescheduled another date, no show and are not responding to phone calls or messages. Unfortunately this is my first experience using Angie's list!

Very professional, punctual and through. Helped caulk a couple of gutter leaks while on the job.

Communication initially started out great but then after numerous cancellations and excuses, I was not able to get a hold of them again. If you have to cancel four times, I should be front of the line to have services completed. They obviously can't handle the volume from Angie's List but they keep putting out deals. Good luck if you decide to go with them!

The provider was initially responsive and professional, followed by no-shows and a complete lack of communication. I deeply regret ever purchasing this Big Deal and wasting time with this vendor. The sequence of events is as follows (all of the messages were through Angies List's message service): 9/12/2014: Purchased roof and gutter service through Angies List and scheduled service for November 6. The vendor's initial responses were prompt and friendly. 11/6/2014: The day was rainy. Service was not performed without any notification from Catalfano. I emailed Catalfano to request rescheduling. 11/7/2014: Catalfano apologized for the lack of communication and attempted to reschedule. 11/11/2014: Catalfano said Thursday (11/13) was available. 11/11/2014: I replied shortly afterward that Thursday would be great. No response from Catalfano. 11/13/2014: No service was performed. No response from vendor. 11/14/2014: I emailed Catalfano asking for a date to reschedule. No response from vendor. 11/17/2014: I called Catalfano to reschedule a service date. A man answered the phone who said 2pm on Thursday (11/20). 11/21/2014 (today): My gutters remain full of leaves. No word from Catalfano. I sent them a message notifying them of my disappointment and sent Angies List a message requesting a full refund.

It went fine. The workmanship was very good for the job they came back for and a reasonable price.

It was fine. We had to go back and forth a couple of times to get the issue resolved but it looks it has been resolved at this point. Originally at the end of the day they said they did the one thing for the big deal and then there was still having a leak in the roof so I had to pay extra for an additional coating or something like that. The first time they came I was n vacation. When I get back, I realized that there was still a leak in my attic so I called them back. And they said that they need to re-coat that portion of the roof but it will not be covered under the big deal so I had to pay another $275. The big deal was $149. I think that members should ask about the big deal offer more, what is included in the big deal. I feel that I could have spent less if I did not avail the big deal and I could have gotten the repair right during the first time. I just feel that it was not handled well. But so far there is no leak but it has only been a couple of months.

Catalfano Bros. roofing is the best! They (workers arrived @ 7:30 removed existing roof after the house was draped in tarps to protect it from old shingles being removed. A truck was brought up the driveway to take all the debris away. A Catalfano was on the premises @ all times, participating in the work. My roof was completed before 4pm. The roof, the cleanup was super! I highly recommend Catalfano Roofing .

The company was very professional and apologetic in that they could not provide the service as I was outside of their servicing area. I did appreciate the quick response to my inquiry. If I was within their service area I would have liked to use them.

They made an appointment to come out at 12:00 on a Thursday to look at my roof. At 12:15 they had not been out yet and I called them to tell them I had to go run a very important errand and told them they could call me on my cell phone when they were coming out. They called about 12:40 to tell me they were coming out in about 20 minutes and I said I would meet them at my house. They never showed up, never gave me a price for coating and after two more call to them I stopped calling them.

The serviceman was very professional, he cleaned the gutters and made a couple of minor repairs to the roof. Everything was explained to my satisfaction.

I'm waiting on the Provider to come back to my home to look at my Top roof and then hopefully quote me for the entire job at a reasonalbe job. I'll keep you posted.

Work was performed satisfactorily.

One of the owners of the company, Charles Catalfano, came to our home three times to make a quote and follow up with details and samples. He promised that the work would be done on August 11 and it was. His pricing was fair, his workers were professional, and we are absolutely thrilled with the beautiful roof that was installed in one day. It's very refreshing to find someone as honest and reliable as he is. He was not the low bidder, but was willing to work with us on the pricing so that we were comfortable paying for a quality product. At one point in time there were seven men working on the job. Rain was forecast for the following day but we were pleasantly surprised to find that the work was indeed completed on the day that it was started. We recommend this company highly and are grateful to have contracted with them for this significant improvement to our home.

actually, I have no idea how it went, a young gentleman knocked on my door and introduced himself. I heard walking on our roof and then that was it. The gentleman never returned. I haven't gone back to the provider to provide feedback yet because we just moved into the house and with everything going on, honestly, I didn't have the energy to battle another issue. Not that $99 isn't alot of money to us, but we were dealing with other home 'surprises' and as I had said, just didn't have the energy to take this issue on. Now that things have calmed down, and Angies List asked me to review, I felt necessary to send this feedback. It is just basic courtesy to let home owner know the job has been completed. My initial contact was very pleasant with Linda, just lacked professionalism from the gentleman who showed up at our door.

It went fine. Appt. had to be rescheduled once because of inclement weather, but they arrived promptly at the rescheduled time.

That went well. They were quick and professional. They fixed what I needed them to fix. I really wanted to make sure the roof was okay. They did replace a couple of shingles and did some caulking as well. Two employees came out and it took all of about 20 minutes.

Very good experience. He was friendly and competent. He got the repairs completed in a timely fashion and was professional about it. Took pictures of the areas that needed repair and shared them with me before leaving.

We purchased the $149 package. Charlie (the owner) came earlier than the time we set. He checked the roof and flashing and told us that the roof can last another 5 years, all of the flashing were fine. Another roofer closer to us had told us that it needed to be replaced within the next year. It would be even better if Charlie can take pictures for the flashing for his next customer. I did tell Linda when I called them. Since I was not at home when Charlie came, I would not complain for that. Charlie also nailed down one lifted sheath/shingle per our suggestion, although he did not think it was a concern. But he did it for us so that we can have peace of mind. He also sealed the gutter per our request. Both were free. I would ask them for annual check on roof.

Had a small leak in our 2nd floor back in early May. Called Catalfano, had them come out to diagnose the problem; appointment was set up quickly for a day or two later. The guy who came out quickly discovered we were missing one shingle, which was causing the leak, and a few others were starting to slip. He quoted $275 to replace the one missing shingle with one we had and do a general tune up (my words). I said ok, let's do it, and he said someone from the office will call later this week to schedule (this was 05 May). I called the 15th, and voicemail was full, so I e-mailed. Nothing. On the 28th, I called again, and whoever answered said 'We'll be out today, I'll make sure it gets done today.' Nothing. It's been a month and a half. Weather's been gorgeous, so that's not the issue. Too small a job? But their website says they (unlike other roofers) are happy to do repairs. Guess we'll need to find someone else to do this small repair, and to replace the roof in a few years, which the estimator and I agreed would be necessary.

It was pretty good. I don’t know if it was $150 worth but it was the best. He was good. He came in the morning. Our roof is kind of big and that is why I probably must get a new one at some point.
