Vince and his crew did an excellent job with the floors in our new home! We were looking for someone who could refinish the hardwood floors in the week between closing and our move date and Blue Bell Hardwood delivered! We originally were only going to do the first floor, but these guys even went beyond the original scope when we asked them to take care of the bedrooms and add quarter round as well! The guys were professional, worked hard at getting the sanding done and first coat on in the first day, and even were great with clean up. Price was right in line with what Vince quoted me over the phone and he was a pleasure to work with. We couldn't be happier with the way our "new" refinished floors look. Highly recommend Blue Bell Hardwood Floors!!!

The cost of this job may seem high but our house is huge with very large rooms. This job included our LR, DR, den, family room, kitchen, pantry, laundry room, powder room and stair treads. A lot of prep work was necessary before the crew could even begin laying the new floors. The floors are beautiful. Vince and his crew did a great job. They did a decorative wood inlay around our fireplace and tended to every detail. We are extremely pleased with the job and would recommend Blue Bell Hardwood Floors to anyone looking to install or repair their hardwood floors. Vince's crew was friendly and attentive to our questions and requests. As a woman, I never felt uncomfortable with Vince's crew. They were always respectful to me. I felt very comfortable around them.

We live in Ohio and signed up for Angie's List in Philadelphia to find someone to do the hardwood floors in our parents house. We e-mailed BB Hardwood Flooring. They followed up promptly and coordinated their work with the painters and worked with the local realtor for access to the house. When we needed to push back their scheduled time, they were fine with it. They kept in touch with us throughout the entire job. We have not seen the finished product but we have seen photos. We think the floors look great. The realtor thinks the floors look great also.

Vince and his crew are excellent. Vince showed up precisely on time for his estimate. After he was hired, Vince and his crew showed up exactly on time to start the project and for every subsequent visit that was part of the required work. Everybody was extremely nice and personable and great care was taken to be as neat and clean as possible. All work was done very efficiently and in a professional manner. The fact that a large piano had to be moved and worked around did not phase them at all. Vince promised the project would be finished in time for a scheduled new furniture delivery and, indeed, it was finished precisely as promised. The parts of the floor that needed to be repaired and replaced were done so expertly it is impossible to tell where the damaged hardwood boards had been. Overall, the finish is spectacular. The price that was quoted was fair for the amount of work and difficulty of the project involved. I cannot recommend Vince and his crew too highly. I would use them again.

When he came to put together an estimate, Vince measured and inspected the floors in the rooms to be refinished, we discussed some stain and trim options, and he provided a straightforward estimate on the spot. On the scheduled start day he and his crew showed up on time. Sanding and sealer were done the first day, with a light sanding/buffing and another coat of poly the 2nd and 3rd days. Vince mentioned the dust free system they use isn't truly 100% free of dust but it was very minimal. The floors turned out very smooth and even. I also had them install oak quarter-round and saddle trim in one room and that part of the job was also done well.

Vince is a good guy and easy to work with. I put him and the two other providers I was working with through their paces -- had them quote multiple scenarios -- and I had a lot of questions for all 3 of them. Through this process, I felt like Vince was the most patient, the most responsive and the most straightforward in his answers. With the other two providers I was talking to, I felt like there would be extra costs. It was hard to pin them down on whether what was on the estimate was the final price. I don't like surprises and with Vince I did not get any. The price was the price. It was competitive with one other estimate, and about 30% less than another.He is very responsive and shows up when he says he will. He and his crew also work hard. My job was a big one, and Vince had to work on a Saturday and Sunday in order to get it done. My floors were a disaster, and they look beautiful now. I did have to point out some areas where I thought stain needed to be added. I'm sure Vince did not love that (I am not the easiest customer), but he was agreeable and did it. I think my stairs could have used some extra TLC, but that is probably less about Blue Bell Hardwood Floors than it is about the state of my stairs. The people who installed carpet really did a number on them with nails and tacks. I think Vince and his crew did a good job with what they had to work with. I get compliments on my floors from anyone who comes to my home, and would recommend BBHF to anyone.

He came on a Monday and sanded and put one coat on. Tuesday morning he came back and put the second coat on. Wednesday morning he came and put the third and last coat on. By late in the afternoon of each day you could walk on the floor but he advised us to wait until the weekend to put the furniture back in the room

They came when they said they would. They actually responded to my call. He was very personable and worked very well with me, even on unexpected stuff that came up. He did the job and left the place clean. He was easy to work with. They did nice work and their price was excellent. They were at least $500 less than other quotes that I got from the area. There is a little more putty work than I expected.

When I was ready to set up an estimate I called Vince in the morning and left a message. He called me back at 6pm that night and apologized that he was not able to get back to me sooner. He explained that because he does the work on all of his floors he is not always able to get back to everyone right away. The estimate went very well, Vince was both punctual and professional. He was friendly and was happy to answer all of my questions. I felt very comfortable having Vince work in my home. He completed the job in a timely manner and the floors look amazing. Although Vince uses a dustless system he did explain to me ahead of time that there would be a little bit of dust generated. Thankfully, he and his crew cleaned up after they were done so I didn't see any dust and my house looked spotless! Overall I was very pleased with the work that Vince did and I would recommend Blue Bell Hardwood Floors to anyone!
