Affordable Water Heater Service Inc

Sears salesman told me that Affordable Water Heater Services would call the night before and make an appointment for installation. They called the night before but said they'd call back the next morning between 9-9:30 to make the appointment. They did not call at that time. I waited until 11:15 for the call and then called them. At that point, having wasted half of my day, we could not coordinate delivery for that date, 1/3/12, so we decided to change the delivery date to 1/5/12. On 1/5/12 one deliveryman arrived but could not get the the water heater down the steps to my basement. So I had to help him lift the heater down the stairs. The point of paying $300.00 to get the heater installed is so that I wouldn't have to involve myself in the heavy lifting. Additionally, they were supposed to take the old water heater, but they couldn't because it was too heavy. They need to return to pick it up - another inconvenience. I complained to Sears, which took my complaint seriously, and Affordable Water Heater Services, who sort of laughed.
