Awesome! Both gentlemen were VERY thorough and VERY informative.

We went to run the A/C in our home for the first time in the summer and the line kept freezing. We bought the house in the fall and didn't realize there was a problem. It is an American Standard system installed by some guy who is probably not even in business anymore. We called Laudenslager to check it out, thinking it was just low on coolant. I have family members that used these guys forever, so I decided to go with them. Turns out the coil was bad. Luckily their tech took the time to look up the former homeowners' warranty info. I would never have even thought to do that. They had a very nice extended warranty and it covered our repair! Laudenslager took the time to get the warranty transferred, and we ended up getting the repair for free. It did take a few days for the part to come in, but they patched things temporarily so we'd have A/C. A few days later they installed the new coil and everything works fine. Now hopefully this unit will last another 8-10 years. Glad I called these guys. Many places would just have quoted me $4000 and been done with it. Like I said above, my family has used these guys for 40 years, and they've been in business for like a century. They have to be doing something right.

Very knowledgable, seemed able to do whatever we would need, at a price. In fact, very familier with exactly what was needed for any suggestions I made. Did a great job of explaining everything. Prices were just too high, starting with the generator itself, which they priced at about $1,000 over manufacturers suggested retail price. I just can't get comfortable with $14,700 for a 20kw Kohler generator with installation. Other than price, I would be very comfortable using Laudenslager.

The Laudenslager team was very professional. They started out by a visit to the house. Showed me the options regarding the tanks available and how they would run the line. After I shopped around, I decided that they were the best and most cost effective option. I called for an appointment. They came when they said they would. The installation team was very professional. Since it was a new gas/LP stove, they even helped me install the correct inserts into the stove and made sure the stove was working correctly before leaving. An excellent team! I highly recommend EF Laudenslager. On top of all that, they have the cheapest LP prices in the area.

EF Laudenslager provided a bid for a couple of options. One was to replace only the air conditioning and the other was to replace both the furnace and air conditioner. The prices were reasonable. Within each option was a and quot;goodand quot; and a and quot;betterand quot; quote. The and quot;betterand quot; being a higher efficiency and thus higher price. All quotes were for the American Standard brand, which I'm told is made by Trane. Steve Laudenslager, president of the company, answered all my questions about the systems and he followed up with additional information so I could make an informed decision. I have some knowledge of HVAC, so that helped. The installation took two days. The three technicians seemed to know what they were doing. I had conversations with a couple of them about the installation and they showed me due respect. They were courteous and did their best to avoid getting the floors dirty by spreading runners in the area where they needed to walk. There were a few problems that I noticed soon after installation. The most troublesome item was a whining noise whenever the fan was running. The technician came out soon after I reported the problems. I believe it was only a day or two. It turned out that they had forgotten to turn down the fan speed. That adjustment was needed because my ductwork was sized for the original 3 ton system that came with the house, while the new unit has a capacity of close to 4 tons. Additional problems that they also fixed on that first call-back were 1) flickering lights whenever the heat pump started, 2) a bad outdoor temperature sensor in the outdoor unit, and 3) some air leaks in the indoor unit where the furnace joins the evaporator coil housing and where the evaporator case joins the plenum. After turning down the fan, the technicians were concerned that the return air volume was not enough. Steve got involved and was of the same opinion, even going so far as to offer to install an additional return duct in the finished basement for free. A few months later, when the outdoor temperature was in the teens, I noticed lots of condensation on the underside of the kitchenette bump-out. The source of the condensation was moisture laden combustion gases expelling from the furnace exhaust pipe under the bump-out. Another technician was eventually sent out and he rerouted the exhaust so it would discharge into the open air instead of under the bump-out. The reason I gave a FAIR score for quality was because of the need for multiple fixes. I also had to clean up a lot of concrete chips/dust on and around storage shelves in my basement, a result of the holes they had to bore in the foundation wall for the furnace exhaust. The reason I gave and EXCELLENT score for responsiveness was because the Laudenslager team, without hesitation, has continued to come back and fix problems that I've reported.

We got quotes from Laudenslager and another reputable company and Laudeslager's was considerably less and we had heard good things about them so we scheduled the work with Laudenslager. Steve, the owner came out first to provide the quote, and then followed up with a visit by their head installer to see what he would be doing as it was a relatively big job and they were replacing an old 1950's existing system which was fairly complicated with lots of zones, etc. They showed up on time, the workers were professional and pleasant, they did the job in three days, and they cleaned up! We were very pleased and happy with the new system.

There were two companies to give us a quote and they were the best, they are very knowledgeable so we went with them. They gave us 3 quotation range: the high, middle, and low range. They were here when told they told us they would be; I have a home that does not have a central air so they were putting in central air; when they came into my house, they took their shoes off, when they cut holes in my ceiling and in my closet, there was no dust; they were clean, very personable when they came into my home; they explain everything to us clearly and I would definitely tell anybody to go to them. I think their prices are competitive, very nice people and just a great bunch of people to work with.

We bought a new house with a gas logs unit and had no idea how to make it work well. We were able with difficulty to turn it on but were experiencing a gas smell and lots of cold air coming in around the unit. We called them and they were helpful in setting up an appointment to figure out what was going on. It turned out that whole unit had been and quot;bricked inand quot; by a previous owner so that the cover of the unit could not be taken off for the unit to be serviced. They told us what we needed to do to unbrick the unit. My husband chipped off the stones bricking in the unit, and then they came back and actually serviced and cleaned the unit. We are now up and running again and loving being able to have the gas logs. They were very helpful in educating us about our unit. We have an older unit and were able to verify that we can still get parts and didnt try to sell us a new unit. See above for the kinds of repairs and servicing done. This was a more complicated situation because of the bricked in problem, but they helped us figure it out. They had to come twice, but didn't charge the full amount of the service charge to return. The guy took a hour and half to take care of our problem and clean the unit so it all worked and looked great again. We were very happy with the results and with the experience of using this company. The service people were very nice to deal with.

I called to inquire about their services. I was referred to them by a relative. They came to my property installed the service and we were done. Very professional. Have been with them since. Great company to do business with.

It was a very positive experience. They offer competitive rates. They were very prompt and quick to install the pump. I am happy with the quality of the work.

Laudenslager has been servicing my old heat pump for about 10 years, so when I decided to upgrade to a new more efficient unit I called them and also two other companies. My old unit was a Trane and since it was 18 1/2 years old and never gave me any trouble I wanted another Trane. I called two Trane dealers and Laudenslager for estimates. When talking two Steve Laudenslager I learned That they sold American Standard Heat pumps and American Standard owns Trane. After researching this I discovered that Trane and American Standard are the same unit. The estimate from Laudenslager was surprising lower then the Trane dealers and it was a no brainier to stay with Laudenslager since their service has always been excellent. On the day of installation four service technicians arrived at 8:30 AM and laid floor protection down from the door to the basement and began work. I watched all of their work and asked questions. They were very professional and performed a neat and clean installation. The installation was complete at approx. 2:30 PM. Then I was orientated on the operation of my unit which was complete at 3:00 PM. My new heat pump is working great and runs very quiet. I notice it is much more efficient then the old unit. I expect to save a lot on my electric bill.

Our gas fireplace logs would die out and then flare-up again. We called another company and explained our problem. They told us to order a particular part and call them when it came in to have it installed. They said because of the age of the logs, surely it had to be that and they wouldn't even come out to check it first to be sure. The part was $400, then it would be installation. When I called Laudenslager, they came out the next day, cleaned and tested the unit. It now works perfectly for only $162. Stinkbugs had gotten into the unit and cloggged it !! No replacement parts needed. They were great!

We received 5 estimates; we were impressed with the professionalism of all of the bidders however the price ranges were far greater than we expected. Laudenslager was actually not the very lowest bidder however we liked the thoroughness of the load analysis and preferred the brand (American Standard) over that of the lowest bidder. Came installation day everything went smoothly: prompt arrival, protection of flooring, problem-free installation. New unit is working fine and hasn't needed any adjustments.

They did great work. They were professional and on time. They completed everything in an efficient amount of time. I did check several other companies and their prices before using this one. They were very reasonably priced for the amount of work needed. I feel lucky to have found them and feel very good about everything they did for me. I am extremely pleased overall, and would highly recommend their work to others.
