+ -1 moreThe work was done by Jeff Gilbride and another worker. They were carefull not to disturb the landscaping directly under the gutters. They showed up when they said they would and the price was exactly what was quoted to me. I am pleased with the work they did and would use them again.
Description of Work: Removed my old gutters and disposed of them. Installed new seamless gutters, gutter guards and downspouts on the front and back of my home.

Description of Work: I called Jeff to clean out my gutters and he came within a day or so (memory fuzzy on that point). The aluminum screen cups at the top of the gutter had become clogged with small debris and was not allowing the rain water to pass thru very well. There were also quite a few leaves in the gutter trays that were leftover from the winter. Jeff and his assistant got on the roof, used my water hose and pressure tip, removed/cleaned and replaced the screen cups, and removed the leaves from the gutter trays. The whole job took about 30 minutes. He also told me that he had found and picked up quite a few roofing nails for me that had been left by the previous roofer, but which could really mess up a gutter system if they are allowed to get flushed down the gutter. I'd owned the house for only a year so that was all news to me, but I guess he did me an extra favor.

+ -1 moreMr. Gilbride (owner) responded to my phone call within 24 hrs. He visited my house the next day and submitted detailed technical presentation with the hardware, gauge of the material, and a written quote. He told me he would not mind if I will contact his insurance company. In fact, offered to show Certificate of the insurance. I told him that I shall replace the roof first and then do a gutters. He agreed with this notion. I had contacted him after about three weeks - when my roof was replaced. He showed for work within two days. He works by himself with the helper (his employee). Mr. Gilbride showed an expertise on the job. He uses the latest equipment and the best hardware. He has a pleasant personality and although a median price he represents a very good value for the money spent. Upon completion of the work he cleaned up thoroughly. He did not caused any damage to the flower beds which are right beneath his work. I contacted Mr. Gilbride in September 2008, and informed him that the gutters, which he recently installed, were developing dark gray stripes. When I inquired about this, I was told that it depends on who supplies the basic material (aluminum). When I tried to contact Mr. Gilbride and talk to him about this problem, with suggestions how to resolve it very simple way, he was very non responsive and he did not show up! As it stands, he does not stand behind the quality of his work! It cost me an extra $150, which I had to pay to a masonry contractor to spray paint my gutters, and $27 for the cost of the material (spray paint).
Description of Work: Removal of old gutters with hardware. Installing new seamless aluminum gutters with the downspouts and concealed hardware.
