OLD FORGE FLOOR CTR

This is in response to owners reply. Which is a lie!! We had our own inspection done , and had multiple wood installers come. All of whom were shocked at not only the terrible installation ( huge gaps between planks , that owner wants to remedy with putty?? That will look terrible aesthetically) but they all agree the wood is flawed ... It came with holes and scrapes and scratches ... No we never agreed to wood like that. Check my Google review for pictures. And to give the whole story , the carpet install was also crooket. We will have to replace that too. But we are not paying because we want him to reimburse us for the wood .

2011 Rigg Job well done - while may not be the cheapest, I got the value for what I paid. Very professional installer, polite, hard worker. Nice job. Arrived when they said they would. Took a couple weeks to get materials, but that is exactly what they told me. I'll report back in 6-12 months to indicate how holding up..

Installation was flawed and needed fixing. I let it go until wife's complaints prompted me to call installer. After my many calls were ignored I have given up...

The installers arrived on the agreed upon date, 8/12/13, and installed the new carpeting. The carpeting at first blush looked very nice, but after a short period of weeks the rugs pulled away from some of the more traveled areas and the seams appeared throughout. Due to prolonged periods of illness and recuperation we let the complaints go and started complaining in February of this year. When we did get an answer, we were assured someone was coming. This has not happened after at least 5 phone calls on our part. This is just another example of contractors ignoring customers once the money is in their bank and they have to follow up on their mistakes. Thank God for Angie's List. In situations like this, it is the only recourse customers have to make any future customers aware of possible areas of concern.

On carpet day the workers called to let me know they were on their way, they arrived at precisely the time they had said they would. They explained what they were going to be doing over the course of the next two days and started working. They ripped out all of the old carpet and padding from the upstairs rooms first then swept the floors before installing the new padding and carpet. They worked until after 6 p.m. to get the entire upstairs completed, and let me know they would be back early the next morning. As promised they arrived early and ripped up the living room carpet and once again swept the floor before installing the new flooring. The men vacuumed the carpet, put all the furniture back where it belonged and asked if I had any concerns or questions they might be able to address before leaving. I am very pleased with every aspect of my experience with Old Forge Flooring. I will definitely refer my family and friends.

They had excellent cleanup. The job was done to perfection. It was very good and efficient. They left no mess afterwards. I would recommend them to others.
