The Bathtub Man

We were very pleased with Mr. Knight's professionalism, punctuality and work. The pedastal sink is over 100 years old and we are happy with the results. The tub looks great also. He offered many ideas on how to maintain/clean the the tub and sink.

Jeff is awsome! I wanted to get my tub reglazed as a temporary measure until I could afford a major remodel of my bathroom. I have been told that reglazing doesn't last, but anything was better than my rusted, dull, scraped up bathtub I had. The tub really looked horrible! The house was unoccupied when Jeff did it, and it was quite cold outside. The bathroom window needed to be opened for venting, which caused the paint to run the first time. Jeff did try to warm it before painting, but it was just too cold. The only reason I gave him a B on responsiveness was because when I called him back about the runs, he was out of town and didn't return my call for a couple of days. But he did return my call and came back within a week. Same problem the second time, but we knew that before he left, and scheduled another day. The third time was the charm! It was a little warmer out that day, and the tub came out GREAT! I tried giving him a tip for being so patient and coming back, but he refused to accept it. It has been over a year, but only used for the last 8 months, but it still looks awsome. I have been following the cleaning instructions, and I am hoping it lasts a lot longer than I had originally anticipated.

I called Jeff and we scheduled a day for him to refinish our two bathtubs (which weren't in terrible shape, but didn't look great). When our schedule got hectic for that day, he was perfectly amenable to only doing one tub and coming back at a later date to do the second. He arrived both times on time or early and was very careful in containing his work materials. He was appropriately cautious with our pets and children - shooing them out of the area when he began to apply the finishing agent (it's pretty noxious-smelling stuff, but he ventilates everything very well). He gave us thorough instructions on how to clean the tubs to best maintain the finish and they look fabulous! We should have done this years ago.

We had used him on my daughters tub and it really looked nice. My tub is this aqua blue and I wanted it white. Oh my goodness it is just beautiful. He taped it off so it could look better. It looks like a professional job. The tape job is really important. I would recommend him and use him again. As a matter of fact, I recommended him to my cousin.

It's gorgeous and it looks like a brand new tub. He was positive, professional, came when he said he would. Informed me about the dangers of lead from using an older tub in disrepair. Extremely reasonable price. They tub has been done for a year and still looks great.
