We have used this place in the past and have loved the outcome. If we need any new carpeting, flooring, or tiling in the future, Molyneaux will be the first place we call.

We had another great experience with Molyneaux! After rainwater entered our basement, we had to replace our wall-to-wall carpeting. Megan Baird came to our house to help us make a selection- she was helpful, reliable and informative. The carpet took slightly longer to arrive than we'd hoped and we can see a few seams in the pattern, but overall we were very pleased with the experience. We would recommend Molyneaux and will likely use this company again in the future.

Megan could not have been more accommodating. She scheduled her home visit quickly, arrived on time, and was a great help to us! The installers (father & son) were super, talented, and so nice. I was looking to get new carpeting in my home and decided to try Molyneaux carpeting in Oakmont. I met with salesman, Tim Clark, and knew right away this was the company I wanted to go with. Tim was extremely knowledgeable of the products they carry, and was a big help in deciding what styles went together. I will definitely be using them again for my other projects.

After a few years of thinking about getting new floors and carpet, we finally decided we were going to start looking. Our first stop was Molyneaux, we both heard that they have an Excellent Reputation and thought that they would be a good start. From the time we walked through the door we had a great experience. We spoke to Design Consultant, Mike Cruz, who was incredibly knowledgeable of all of Molyneaux' products, he wasn't pushy like some sales people can be. He was friendly and respectful, and after talking to him for maybe 20 minutes we decided that we weren't going anywhere else, we are going to deal with this gentleman for our floors. My husband and I can be very particular and sometimes a hard sell. But, with no pressure, we found beautiful carpet for our bedroom, steps and hallway, and vinyl floors for our whole first floor. Mike came to our house and measured and took pictures and gave us a price that fit right into our budget (and with 0% financing we couldn't beat it). Soon after, the floors were being put into our home. The installers were both prompt and professional with both the flooring and the carpet. Not only did they do an excellent job with the installation, the job was done sooner than they expected. The vinyl floors are absolutely gorgeous and easy to clean, and the carpet is plush and beautiful. So in saying this... We Would Highly Recommend Molyneaux for All of YOUR Floor Needs! Our experience with Molyneaux's was a very pleasant one. Malik, our sales representative, was extremely knowledgeable of the various flooring/carpeting products. He explained things to us and answered our questions. One thing about his approach is that he is not at all the "pushy salesman". He gave us whatever time we wanted/needed to look at the carpet samples and discuss amongst ourselves without hovering around us during this time. Nick, from the office, was instrumental in handling logistics and some minor follow up items. The two gentlemen that installed arrived on time, were efficient and thorough, and did a great job handling our furniture and with keeping the area clean and neat. We were extremely impressed with their professionalism in getting this completed quickly and thoroughly, and for making sure the area was cleaned up before they left. We initially tried to cut corners by going with a cheaper company to install our luxury vinyl plank flooring. Twice it gapped severely, so we decided to go with Molyneaux because of the high reviews of the company. Malik Vincent from the Oakmont store came to our home with samples and ensured us that Molyneaux would get the job done correctly. Our installer discovered the problem with why our floor kept shifting, and solved it, while still managing to finish a day early. My floor looks amazing!! We will always go to Molyneaux for any future flooring projects.

Overall a good experience thanks to the design consultant, Megan Baird. Took a little longer to get materials in and installed; installers were polite and efficient. Megan went above and beyond to assist me and was quick for follow up responses to questions and issues. Only bad issue I experienced is getting the carpet disposed of by the company.

The design consultant Megan Baird was very helpful and knowledgeable of products offered. I chose Molyneaux because of products offered and reputation. I was not disappointed with anything. The installers Mike and Steve were exceptional and I will be an ambassador for any one looking for flooring to use.

I gladly recommend Megan Baird and Molyneaux to others who need carpet or new floors. I own and manage several residential investment properties in and around Pittsburgh. When I needed to replace the three-level entryway/hallway/stairway carpet in a property I just acquired, I called Megan Baird at Molyneaux, as I had worked with her before and had a good experience. True to form, Megan was responsive to my initial email, we scheduled a visit to the property shortly thereafter, and she brought lots of samples and plenty of ideas about what would work for this application. Megan was way helpful and knowledgeable as sorted through options for color, style, durability, et al and eventually picked out a solution that was mostly carpet and a bit of hard surface near the front door, which I probably would not have thought of by myself but which I am very happy with. Megan made it easy to finalize the order and Molyneaux scheduled the install on a date that worked for me. The installers showed up just as they said they would, they were friendly, they worked hard and they finished the install by lunchtime on Day 2. I am quite pleased with the results, both for how the carpet looks and for the quality of the install. I like the fact that Molyneaux is a local company, employing local tradespeople and supporting the local community. The fact that Pat M is a fellow Central Catholic alum helps me feel good about using the company. I have two kitchen floors and one apartment floor that need to be addressed next and I am happy to be working with Megan on these. I feel confident that we understand each other, she is responsive to my requirements, she communicates well and in a timely fashion, and I trust her and Molyneaux to do the projects well.

This is the second time that we have used Molyneaux in Oakmont for our flooring needs. We have had considerable experience with the company, including hardwood floors, carpeting, and laminated floor in the basement. Ours is an old house, which presented problems with disparate styles and wear of baseboards. Molyneaux made them look unified and natural throughout the entire house. The quality of workmanship is superb, including detailed finish in the corners and closets. Molyneaux pre-painted moldings before the installation to match the colors in the house. The teams were absolutely professional and respectful of our needs. They moved the furniture for us and left the spaces vacuumed and clean. They were punctual and fast working. Molyneaux has a great selection of flooring from hardwood to tiles, and carpeting, which enabled us to have all our flooring needs to be taken care of by one company. Design consultant Megan Baird is knowledgeable in knowing how different floorings perform and is very easy to work with. Megan came to the house to take measurements, brought samples, and helped us determine what will satisfy our needs. She allowed us to keep the samples overnight to see them in different lighting. Working with Megan and Molyneaux teams we felt that we were in honest and good hands. Their interest is in doing high quality work. We’ll definitely use Molyneaux for our next flooring project!

Megan Baird was the design consultant on our job. From the first time we walked into the Oakmont store, she went above and beyond to listen to what we wanted, showed us many samples - both in the store and at our home- to make sure we got exactly what we were looking for. Her excellent customer service was one of the main reasons we chose Molyneaux. We had been to several other flooring stores, and after meeting Megan, choosing Molyneaux was a sure thing. We chose carpeting for our bedrooms and luxury vinyl for the main living areas of our home. Megan was able to accommodate our scheduling needs to coincide with other construction jobs in progress in our home. She worked with us to make sure that the timing was right for both the carpet and luxury vinyl installations. The carpet installation went speedily and to our satisfaction. There were a few snags with the installation of the luxury vinyl and baseboards. We were initially a bit discouraged by the finished product. The very same afternoon of the luxury vinyl installation, we were texted by Melissa Molyneaux McFarland, wanting to know if we were satisfied with the finished job. We let her know that the job fell short of our expectations, and she put us in touch with a Molyneaux representative named Josh. He listened to all of our concerns, and gave us no hassle whatsoever. He got us on the schedule right away and sent an excellent carpenter out to look over the trouble spots. The carpenter went over everything with a fine-tooth comb and completely resolved all of the issues with the initial install. We felt that they absolutely made things right, delivered on everything that they had promised, and had outstanding customer service. We would definitely use them again for future flooring projects and would confidently recommend Molyneaux to family and friends. We love our new flooring!

Megan Baird is by far the best consultant I have worked with when dealing with Molyneaux She was very knowledgeable and definitely has an eye for what would look right, color wise, and type of wood that goes with your decor. Great! First Molyneaux removed ceramic tile from a foyer/coat closet/hall/powder room and linoleum in a master bedroom bath. The men did a great job taping off so the dust/dirt from the ceramic tile removal did not go through the house. The installers did an excellent job installing the new flooring and baseboards. There was a miscommunication about one of the rooms. Our salesman Tim and Kalina in scheduling did an excellent job. Tim made a phone call on his day off. This is the 3rd time we have had flooring and tile work done by Molyneaux. They are the best at what they do.
