Shamrock Lawn Maintenance

Decided to do it ourselves..was too expensive for us. Nice man.

Shamrock has shown a high level of service, attention, and professionalism by: - Responding to my request for a quote (5 of 8 calls to to other services yielded no reply). - Visiting my yard to prepare the quote (the other services who replied did not) - Providing a quote which included observations and analysis of our lawn, such as grass varieties, weed types, insect problems. - Recommending needed services and not recommending ones not required (it was too late for a pre-emergent crabgrass, and insect control was not needed as no problems were observed) - Having a staffed office or an answering service to take my messages when I had questions and wanted to confirm proceeding with the service. My calls were returned within one or two days. - Sending a friendly "lawn care guy" to do the work who let us know what he was doing and went about it quickly. - Blowing off pellet fertilizer from the sidewalk and driveway where it had spread beyond the lawn. - Leaving a description of the work completed in the front door, with short-term recommendations about cutting, watering, or pets. - Having a secure, easy-to-use web site which allows on-line payment. They offer a discount for pre-payment of the full season.

OK. This is second season using Shamrock, and lawn looks much better since start of using their services. Have had two instances with applications missing some areas of the lawn. They have been responsive, professional and reliable.

They come whenever it needs it. During the growing season at least once a week. In the summer when it's dry they check in once a week but it doesn't always need that. Charges depend on the service. The cleanup is very nice. They blow everything off the driveway so there is no grass on the road or driveway. It just looks like the lawn has been freshly mowed. When they put fertilizer down they put signs also.

I have an annual contract. They come once a month and treats the lawn. This is just fertilizing and weed control. Their communication system is pretty poor. It is a very difficult time for me to communicate to anyone there. I have tried sending emails. It could just improve.

Very well - good price and good work.

Shamrock took my tired lawn and made it pop. I will consider additional services they offer (in the fall).

First early lawn application applied. We were given a heads up call, so that we could make sure our fearful dog was indoors during the application process.

Don't see the results yet. Time will tell

As expected, no issues. On time quality work, bill received electronically and easy to pay. In this time that is a necessity imo.

I pay in advance and then they come 3 or 4 times a year to treat the lawn.

We use a company called Shamrock Lawn Maintenance. We've been using them for years. Shamrock brought out another group, you know, they're not local, we're very happy with them. They are in the Pittsburgh area. They were here probably a month ago. They come like 4 or 5 times a year. They've kept our lawn looking very nice for years.

We have used Shamrock for 10 years. Their products provide the wanted results. The staff is friendly, courteous and responsive. rThe company is reliable and managed in a professional manner.

They spray fertilizer and weed killer on my lawn. It looks very nice when they are done.

I thought it was ok, I tried it out for a few months then cancelled. I didn't want to spend the money because I felt that I could do it myself.

We have been using them since last year. We had other lawn sercive previously and we were not happy with the results or their customer service. Now our lawn looks amazing! Their customer service is outstanding. they are quick to respond to questions. They come regularly to do the services. Our lawn is greener earlier in the season than lawns serviced by other companies! So glad we found them!

I have been using them for probably fifteen years. The staff is very nice. With regard to price, they are good. They respond very fast to my requests. They are right on time. Their professionalism is very good.

Our lawn looks awesome, we are pleased with the service we received. In less than a year's time of treatment, there's a big improvement in the condition of the lawn.

I think the spraying they did was not very effective. They were trying to regrow my grass in the front and actually, the grass did not really regrow that well, and then, they were trying to spray the weeds which maybe did work somewhat, but I guess it was not a large improvement or anything. The guy has not called me back because I wanted to irrigate and overseed my lawn and it has been two calls that I have given him messages. I think the price was not that cheap. I would probably not use them again because they are not responding to me.

Went well,although a few weeks later our lawn was covered with a weed called, nut sage. Contacted Shamrock Lawn Maintenance and they arrived the next day to spray for the weed. Very pleased with Shamrock and plan to use their service next year.

Within a couple days they stopped by my house to do the estimate and left behind the paperwork with the details. I called them back to accept the agreement and they had someone out to treat the lawn within a couple weeks. I signed up for a recurring treatment and they have been on schedule each month. The grass is looking better than it has in the past. For a separate price, they will be back in the fall to aerate and seed.

Great to do buisness with and much better value than other estimates I got for same services.

Initial contact went well. Representative was very polite and courteous. We agreed on a plan which they discounted fairly as it was prepaid. I had to wait 2-3 weeks before the first treatment, mainly due to early season rush. The lawn was properly posted with caution signs indicating the lawn had been treated. I did request their environmentally safe treatment plan with nominal pesticides. I already had dandelions springing up when the treatment was completed and they were around 80% gone within 72 hours. The lawn looks great and the fertilizer made the grass lush and green. I am very pleased with Shamrock and would certainly use their services again.

We got a late start on lawn treatments, so he may have had a hard time fitting us in. It took a week to get an estimate and another week for the first treatment, but like I said, we were late. He left a detailed description of what he applied, the price was 20% less than Kapp's estimate (and Kapp took 3 weeks to get me an estimate). He said to wait 7-8 days for results. After 8 days the dandelions have wilted, and the weeds left standing look very sad. Hard to comment on overall quality until he's had more time to work on it - our yard is in pretty bad shape.

Only received an estimate, did not hire as we found his price a bit higher.
