A 3 inch copper drain pipe that had been repaired several years ago began leaking in an adjacent place, dripping in the garage. I described it to the person at the desk and received an estimate. We set a date. John arrived on time, cut a portion of the dripping pipe away and installed a 10 foot polyprolene piece (covered both earlier and current leak). Problem solved.

The process went completely smooth. We were quoted the price we were billed. Dates were confirmed ahead of time and there were no deviations from what was discussed. We were very happy with Jim Meyers and would recommend them to anyone.

His service was more expensive than anyone else I have ever used. He didn't even fix the problem. I called them back to complain that the problem wasn't fixed but they never got back to me.

The first appointment was to assess if there were any plumbing issues with a recently-purchased rental unit. I took partial time from work, so was pleased that TJ arrived on-time and held to expected amount of time. He didn't try to create work - he largely reacted to work I asked to be done to assure no problems for future renters. We agreed a second appointment would be needed to perform two tasks: - replace plumbing inside a bathroom vanity. - replace laundry tub faucet. Working with the office to pick the faucet and to schedule the follow-up appointment went smoothly. DJ again showed up at the expected time. We ran into a significant problem with the pipe that connected into the downpipe behind the bathroom wall. It was nearly totally rusted through. DJ showed me the issue and explained options. Obviously, it required a lot more time (between 1-2 hours) than he was expecting to be on-site. We agreed to the work and he did it very well, letting me inspect it before he closed up the wall. The laundry tub faucet replacement was nicely done with no snags. DJ was in contact with the dispatcher to inform later appointments of the delay. While that may have given Jim Meyers' company a negative rating for punctuality, I think how DJ and the company handled my complication was the correct approach. Very satisfied with the service and professionalism. Would definitely use Jim Meyers' Plumbing in the future.

We needed an old bathroom demolished in the basement and a new bathroom built in its place. Meyers Plumbing's schedule was too busy to do the construction work but recommended Matt Fawley Contracting who handled the demolition and completely built the new bathroom-framed new walls, drywalled, tiled floor, ran electric, installed fan, painted walls, installed new door, etc. The construction work and the plumbing work were excellent and we plan to use Meyers Plumbing and Matt Fawley Contracting again in the future. Meyers Plumbing was very professional, and responsive to all of our inquiries. The entire process went very smoothly.

They are great! I love them. They are so nice and just the perfect people to have in your home. They do great work and are very personable.

Tim had to cut several small holes in the ceiling before he could find where the water was coming from that was causing the wet areas in the ceiling drywall. it was actually caused by a brad for the trim in the upstairs bedroom being driven through the PVC water pipes. It took 11 years before the nail rusted enough that the water was actually visible via the wet drywall. It took Tim approximately an hour and 15 minutes to locate the area of the water leak and then about an hour to cut out and replace the water line and test it all. The company has a drywall contractor who will contact me at a later date to patch up the bad drywall and the holes necessary to make the repair. Tim did a great job! I was very happy with the company and the Tim.

The Main stack was in need of being replaced. He gave a reasonable bid. My husband and I are very pleased. He was very professional. Completed the job within two hours. Cleaned up and took the old pipe with him. We definitely would hire them again.

We are selling our townhouse and the home inspector detected a gas leak around the water heater. Although there was no leaks in the area that the inspector indicated on the picture, the technician continued to search until he found a very small leak in another area. This was covered by the home warranty so our only cost was the deductable.

When I called the company, the scheduler was very helpful. She provided the name of the plumber, took my information and had all three things properly listed on the work order. When he arrived, Tim was very pleasant, worked efficiently and cleaned up afterward. He had the correct faucet with him. I was particularly impressed by the neatness and cleanliness of his truck. The appointment was scheduled in a timely manner. Their representative called before he shoed up for the appointment which was on time. He performed his repairs in a timely and professional manner. The charge for his services was very fair. I would use again and recommend.

Scheduling is always easy and the plumbers show up on time. They do quality work and their rates are in keeping with that quality. I recommend them highly. The cost listed was for the Delta sink and the faucet assembly, the fittings and the labor.

My very handy husband tried, without success, to fix the handle but he gave up in disgust. I called Jim Meyers Plumbing on a Monday, and was scheduled for an early morning appointment on Wednesday, but Dave called me Tuesday afternoon to see if he might come then. I was home, so he came right over. He was concerned that it might take a long time, because apparently Kohler products can be very difficult to fix. It was a tight job, but he managed to loosen the handle and replace the inner workings that had corroded and rusted. He brought my attention to the two tiny marks that were left on the handle, which I would not have noticed on my own. I was delighted that I wouldn't have to match and/or replace the entire fixture. Dave told me to assure my husband that it was a tough job. It would have been impossible to fix the handle and save the fixture, unless my husband had a rather specialized wrench and a lot more patience. One of the things I like best about the Angie's List contractors I've used is that they are always willing to tell me what products they like the best for quality, ease of repair, and longevity. Dave was no exception to this rule. If I need to replace any faucet in the future, I will avoid Kohler and go with one of his recommendations. He was very efficient, neat, and professional. I will certainly call Jim Meyers Plumbing again if I have another plumbing issue.

Very professional company. The owner visited before accepting the job to review the scope of the job and the additional plumbing necessary for the job. We received a fair price for everything and are very happy with the quality and speed of the work. We have use this company for years and they will always get first consideration.

He was not a chatter, he was not a smart Alec. He asked me what my problem was, then he had me show him the problem with my water, sent me to have coffee and did the job. Dave Myers was a wonderful person, he minded his business, and was on time for his job. He had me go look when he was done to make sure I was satisfied with the work. I would call him again for any job.

Contractor was on time , phoned ahead prior to arrival to insure we were home and conducted service promptly.

I have an unusual plumbing configuration. A radiator is under my sink and the trap section of the plumbing hung down between radiator pipes. To replace the trap it was necessary to put a new one in backward, but that didn't hold up, so another of their crew returned to try a different trap and that is working well. Everyone, from the receptionist to the plumbers are friendly and professional. The plumbers are punctual, explain the work to be done and complete the job efficiently and well.

I had them to install a full kitchen sink faucet last June. The faucet started leaking and I called them and she told me that she would call moen and order the part and once it came in they would send someone out to install. The gentleman came out and said the faucet just had dirt build up and he worked on it for a bit and flushed it out and said it was fine and left. He never replaced the part. Within 2-3 weeks I kept watch on it because I thought I seen it leaking again and wanted to make sure that was the case and it continued to leak so I called her back and told her I was sorry but this faucet was leaking again. She sent him out again and he came with completely new faucet and I'm not sure why he just didn't replace the part that appeared to be faulty they had already ordered it. He replaced whole faucet anyhow and then informed me that my shut off valves were crumbling and needed to be replaced right away. I'm not a plumber I trusted in what he was telling me. But he had to use them a few weeks ago when he was here and never said anything about the shut off valves at all. He replaced them and few weeks later I received a bill for $136.44. Which I had ordered a part for my bathroom which was $10-$15 at best the rest for the replacement shut off valves. I find it hard to believe that they crumbled in a few short weeks and I am pretty sure they wanted paid somehow for coming out a second time and this was there way of doing it. And they kept the replacement part that Moen sent them also. I would not use them again.

Our second floor shower stall was leaking into the kitchen ceiling below. We first called Professional Plumbing and Heating Co.The person came to our house, cut a hole in our ceiling, took pictures, called his boss, who said he could not repair due to copper drain inside floor joist. He advised we contact our Home Owners Insurance for removal of joist or shower base. We were charged $135. Next we called Pawlak Plumbing and Heating Inc. The person who came said the shower floor and pan needs to be replaced and we were charged $75. Last we called Jim Meyers Plumbing and Heating Inc. Jim Meyers came and said replacing a 2 inch copper trap under the shower base would probably work. The cost would be $400. There was no charge for diagnosis. If this fix didn't work, the floor would need to be taken up. Dave and Mark came today and replaced the copper trap. The leak is fixed. They did a neat job. We are very satisfied.
