GREGORY'S HOME IMPROVEMENTS

Description of Work: The Gregory's Home Improvement I am reporting about has a phone number of 610-262-7381 and use to go under the name of RT Handyman Services in Northampton. I called this company about a water stain on the ceiling of my bathroom. The day of the appointment Richard Gregory, owner, arrived 20 minutes early and came into my fenced backyard without permission. I heard no knock at the door nor my door bell. He seemed very young and I questioned how long he had been in business. Richard then looked at the water stain while his 2 man crew was on the roof. Richard advised the water was probably due to a bad vent cap on the vent pipe...a circular piece of rubber which fits over the top of the vent pipe. He replaced the vent cap; I gave him $45 in cash and he left. A few days later it rained and the stain on my bathroom ceiling was worse. Also, my neighbor informed me that since the repair on my vent pipe she had been getting rain water from her gutter, through her window fan, and into her bathroom. She and I thought perhaps the weight of the ladder sitting on OUR gutter had caused a separation in the gutter. (I live in a "double". My bathroom is on the same wall as my neighbor's and our vent pipes are about 6-8 inches apart). I called Richard to advise the "vent cap" had not resolved the issue. When I told him of my neighbors issue and what we had talked about, he said "that's the stupidest thing I have ever heard". While he agreed to come back to see what more he could do for me, he refused to go up on the roof to look at my neighbor's gutter. He screamed and argued with both of us. He was completely unwillingly to entertain the idea that maybe he had disturbed the gutter while on the roof for me. He was rude, unprofessional and demeaning. I would never have this company work for me again.
