I had a great experience with this company - honest, hard-working, friendly, going above and beyond in customer service. I will definitely use them again. I was concerned that the light from our skylights was going to damage our furniture below and called this company to install UV film. Dave was friendly and professional on the phone and in person. I was able to schedule an appointment for the following week. He gave me a call when he was on his way and performed the work neatly and efficiently, covering the floor and items below the skylights with drop cloths. He even took off his shoes upon entering our house. When he was finished, he cleaned up after himself. I expressed concern that the uv tint we had chosen made the room too dark and he suggested that we wait two weeks to see if we get used to it. However, by the end of the day, I knew I had made a mistake and called him to see if it could be fixed. After I realized that I wanted a lighter film, Dave was prompt in his response. The company seems to be busy at this time of year, and appointments were booking out two weeks in advance. However, I told him I was very anxious to have the darker film replaced and so he came back two days later, on his lunch break. Moreover, he only charged me the wholesale cost of the new film.

They were very thorough and I don't have any complaints about their work. They are very good. They are personable and they did a very good job inside and out. I was very satisfied. I had them do additional windows, because I was completely satisfied with the work. Their price was very reasonable.

Dave responded to my call immediately. We set an appointment for an estimate. He arrived and was professional an courteous. There was no pressure at all to make the sale. He was able to do the work the same day and completed it in a timely manner, He was careful with my furniture and new wood floor and was very neat and clean. I would highly recommend Sun Control Specialists.

2 story windows were streaky. I was told when it rained the streaks would be gone. They were not

David is honest, reliable and proficient. He was punctual, respectful and clean in his working. He provided fair and knowledgeable advice on the best film to choose based on our requirements. After he applied the film , it was impossible to tell that there was any on the windows. His work speaks for itself. He honored an Angie's list member discount although it did not apply to my service. I would recommend David with no hesitation

window panes were cleaned well, but the frames we left dusty and dirty.

David was a really nice guy! He was very responsive and arrived on time. He cleaned all the windows inside and out and they looked crystal clear. He didn't leave any mess and didn't disrupt any of the window treatments where I specified. I would recommend and use again.

I made an appointment. It was confirmed and then reconfirmed on the morning of the appointment (to make sure the weather was cooperative.) Great experience overall. I would recommend this company to a friend.

zero problems - did more windows than what was originally quoted but stood by the quoted price.

All-in-all, the workers did a very good job of cleaning surfaces; some of which had never been cleaned (inside & out) in the twenty years since construction. However, the sun glare in early morning negatively affected the worker's ability to see/correct streaking in the east-facing side of the house. That was the only negative observation to an otherwise excellent service delivery. The entire job was completed before noon. We were very happy with the result and will not wait another 20+ years for a repeat application.

David was great to deal with. Responsive to phone calls, arrived as scheduled and a super nice person. Windows look great. Would definitely recommend and would absolutely use again.

Do use Sun Control Specialists Don't puchase "big deals" unless you intend to use them immediately.

As an Angie's List memb er, I took advantage of the special I found on Angie's List in the fall of 2012. In the Spring of 2013, I called Sun Control Specialists and left a message to call me. I promptly received a message back and arranged for the window cleaning the following week. The Sun Control Specialist arrived on time and did a very thorough, excellent job on all my outside windows, doors, and storm doors.

David Oetzel is an exemplary professional. He was very responsive and couldn't have been more accomodating. I felt as though I gained a friend rather than a business relation. He is an extremely friendly and nice man. I liked the film tinting he installed so well, I had him add an additional window. We couldn't be happier with the finished product. David invites questions and gives informed, concise answers. While he was at our home I mentioned we had damage, from another contractor, to a blade on our ceiling fan in our two-story family room. David asked if I had the replacement blade and bracket, which I did. He said, "I'll replace it for you since I'll have the ladder up". Since the replacement didn't match perfectly, he replaced all five blades, at no charge. Again, very accomodating! David is a perfectionist. I will recommend him to anyone. What a great experience.

Dave was able to easily schedule a mutually convenient time. I recommend that the vendor asks questions about the kind of windows a consumer has to review prior to getting to the house in case the service restrictions in the coupon do not fit the service wanted. In my case there were extra charges because my window were not considered the standard size. I did not expect it though I understood it once it was explained. Likewise I recommend homeowners with homes older than 60 yrs talk to the vendor first. Our homes can end up not being eligible for great deals because even though the house may be in very good shape, they are not the modern or upgraded "standard" that is assumed by the service provider when the coupon is purchased.

They were terrible. I could never get a hold of them on the phone. They never called me back. I ended up never using them or the Deal and I had to find someone else to do the work.

He responded to my initial email within two days, he scheduled an appt. with me within two weeks, he answered all my questions promptly and thoroughly, he arrived on time for his appt., he was perfectly clean and careful in my home, and as far as I can see, the window tint looks great and is perfectly and professionally installed with no air bubbles and perfectly cut to fit my windows. Bravo. I highly recommend David and his company, Sun Control Specialists.

.the contract was for window and screen cleaning. I was home when the work was done and didn't even notice him working. The final job was excellent.

David responded promptly to my request for an estimate. His estimate was right in line with others I received. I chose Sun Control specialists because of the promptness of the response. They arrived on the day I needed them to (I needed the windows cleaned on a very specific date). They were professional and responded to extra requests cheerfully. I recommend them highly.

I bought the coupon. On two different phone calls I said I would wait. That's all I got.

I contacted the company because I saw a big deal for window cleaning and it looked like a good price. In addition to the window cleaning included in the special, I had some larger windows cleaned. In removing the screen from one of the large windows, the screen frame broke. Immediately, David googled the manufacturer of the windows to see about replacing the screen. After much time and effort, he was able to get my screen fixed and looking better than ever! David is extremely knowledgeable and dedicated.

I called and told him what I needed done and he was here the next day. He was very courteous and on time and did a fantastic job. He explained in detail what the different types where and what he reccomended for my window issues. And what a difference that has made!!!!! We will definitely use them again in the future. They are extremely professional and it was a great experience.
