David (the owner) and his assistant arrived on time and worked efficiently, completing the job by early afternoon. They were professional and respectful. We would recommend Sun Control Specialists and, in fact, plan to have them come back to do more windows.

Description of Work: After buying the deal, I spoke with the provider and found that our types of windows were not covered. The provider was courteous, and I may use him on a non-deal basis. But the offer should be more specific about coverage.

I had removed all the window screens prior to arrival of the gentleman who would be cleaning my windows. He reinstalled them for me after asking if I'd like him to do so. My windows shine! I am very pleased and would use them again.

Description of Work: I used this vendor after another deal I had expired. I paid additional money to do more windows. When they cleaned windows, some of dirty screens were put on floor or carpet which left some debris and dirt. They were not mindful of scratching wood floors or leaving dirt on white carpet. Wasn't happy about that. They didn't have vacuum. I let them use mine to pick up dirt. Broke a few flower branches in pots on my porch. |If no other window deals were available I would use again and advise not to repeat above errors.

Description of Work: They washed 10 windows, inside and outside. They clean the frame of the windows too. An excellent, professional job. We gave them several dates that were good for us and they told us which dates they were available. Our windows sparkle and all the dust and grim from the traffic is gone. We would use their service again and we highly recommend them. The only negative was they were 20 minutes late. We were extremely satisfied!

Description of Work: I responded to a "special" the company was running on AL. It was for a set number of windows. I was surprised that it only covered 50% of the total windows I wanted cleaned. I had another bid for for $225 that would have done all of the windows. I actually lost out on the lower price. The work they did was fine - it just wasn't worth the money I paid.

Description of Work: He washed all the windows in our single story house, and applied a lightly tinted sun control film on our extensive southern side windows (Family room, kitchen, living room, master bedroom). The windows were spotless and the sun control is surprisingly effective--the temperature difference with/without film is noticeable. One has to assume the UV protection is equally effective. He explained the features and limitations of the film. Worth every penny!

Description of Work: After reading the reviews on Angie's List, I contacted David Oetzel via phone. Not only did he personally answer his phone, he did so within two rings. So I was off to a great start.The rest of the process was just as great. Not only did he come out to show me the options, he arrived on time and provided an estimate of the work within a few hours.I scheduled the installation for July 8, 2011. He and his assistant were there promptly at 1pm, as scheduled. They came in and laid down tarp to not mark up the flooring, carefully removed window treatments, washed each window and wiped down the sills, and cleaned up as they went along. The whole process went smoothly and professionally. The job was done on-time and on-budget. David even followed up a few days later to see how everything was working out.This was one of the best contractor experiences I've ever had and would recommend David to anyone seeking this service. (and have done so already)
