They were excellent. I got it through a coupon. It was that price plus the coupon that was $100+ dollars. I will use them again to have my windows washed. They were prompt and very thorough, and I thought reasonably priced. They didn't over charge me for the extra large window.

David was professional and courteous; he was a pleasure to work with. I wish more contractors were as responsive and acccomodating as David. I highly recommend Sun Control for window cleaning services.

It went extremely well. David and his helper were professional, friendly and did a great job.

The price was excellent--very good value. Overall, they did a very good job. My one complaint is that there is one window that a bird had been flying into (fighting with its reflection) that I can't reach, and that was the MAIN thing I wanted clean (it has peck marks all over it), and it isn't. After they had come and gone, I noticed this, we called them, and they came out again--high marks for that. But it didn't look any different. We called again, and they said the marks were etched into the window. Maybe, but I think they just didn't find it (we weren't home). Good service overall though--I would use them again.

Excellent work Dave. Initially I thought of installing 3M films but when I Contacted the 3M dealers nobody responded back to me. From the day I called for a free estimate he was very prompt and came on time for an estimate and gave a detailed quote and explained me everything. He told me that he will come at 7:30 AM in the morning and came exactly on time took 4-5 hrs for installing the film. We asked him for a change in film which he did very promptly. I would highly recommend him

It was a Big Deal that I purchased. I was very pleased and it worked well. I would recommend them. I would use them again if I had the need.

Dave, the owner, was on time and reasonably priced. He explained in detail what he would do. We showed him all the windows that needed to be cleaned. He did a great job and we will have him back again.

I contacted Sun Control Specialists about a month ago to set up an appointment. David the owner was very responsive. It took a while to find a date that worked for both of us via emailing, and then it had to be rescheduled due to the uncooperative weather. David did come for the re-scheduled date even with a rainy day forecast. When he arrived, he explained the process in detail and then proceeded to do an excellent job - scraping and fully cleaning and vacumning all the windows, brushing all the screens. and then re-screening the five screens that needed to be repaired. The screens took much longer than he had anticipated because they were aluminum and not vinyl, so we agreed upon a fairer price per screen. He proceeded to stay a full day instead of the projected half day, and he completed all the work in a very professional and excellent workmanlike manner. He was very polite and easy to work with and I would definitely recommend him and hire him again.

He was amazing! He washed inside and outside of the windows, as well as the frames. I can't say enough about this gentleman. He was very caring and conscious of the work he did. It was so nice to have him in the house with me, such a great experience. I highly recommend him. Anyone who needs their windows washed or tinted, call him.

He did a fantastic job. There has been construction near my home and he took extra time to get the windows totally clean. He was also able to get off some stickers that I'd been unable to remove. Punctual, courteous, easy to reach, flexible with scheduling. Would highly recommend and will definitely use again in the future!

I bought a coupon and have emailed them to schedule an appointment. I emailed them last week and they responded yesterday confirming they will be coming soon. I have liked my experience so far and will contact them in future, too.

After reading the reviews on Angie's List, I contacted David Oetzel via phone. Not only did he personally answer his phone, he did so within two rings. So I was off to a great start.The rest of the process was just as great. Not only did he come out to show me the options, he arrived on time and provided an estimate of the work within a few hours.I scheduled the installation for July 8, 2011. He and his assistant were there promptly at 1pm, as scheduled. They came in and laid down tarp to not mark up the flooring, carefully removed window treatments, washed each window and wiped down the sills, and cleaned up as they went along. The whole process went smoothly and professionally. The job was done on-time and on-budget. David even followed up a few days later to see how everything was working out.This was one of the best contractor experiences I've ever had and would recommend David to anyone seeking this service. (and have done so already)

When I originally called David, he answered my call without me having to leave a voicemail which is quite unusual these days. I spoke directly to him, the owner and installer as opposed to having to leave a message and have someone call me back. He was very punctual when he came out for the estimate. He gave me an estimate within 24 hours on a spreadsheet provided by the product manufacturer. I was able to manipulate the spreadsheet to create different quotes using different products. Once I decided what products to use he finalized the price very promptly. He then gave me a choice of installation dates and was not only prompt, he was a little early. He called to let me know that he was on his way. His service, attitude, and product exceeded my expectations. Our home is definitely cooler and there is not a glare in our home anymore. The nice thing is the that we did not have to compromise the natural lighting because of the product he suggested. He also warned me that there will be some bubbling over the first 30 days but that will go away after 30 days and if it does not to give him a call back. Overall I am very pleased with the entire job from start to finish.

Dave responded promptly to our initial phone call, came out to give us an estimate in less then a week, and performed the actual work the following week. He was not pushy, went over the different types of films, their pros and cons and he and his coworker were extremely neat...could not even tell they had been there after they left. I would recommend them to someone looking to do this. However, though you can not tell that there is a coating on the windows (which is as advertised), it has only been a couple of weeks since it was done and so I don't know for sure how this product holds up.

David was friendly and professional throughout the entire process. He described to me in great detail all aspects of the process right down to all the warranty information. You could tell immediately that he truly believed in the product he was selling and that was what sold me. I felt that his pricing was very good since I had recently gone through the same process at a home I had recently sold in another state. I would definitely hire David and his team in the future!

Sun Control Specialists was recommended by another vendor we were using for window blinds, as well as by a few neighbors. Dave Oetzel, the owner, visited and discussed the various options on darkness of the tinting and expected sunlight control and heat reduction. We spec'd out the different windows and Dave printed an estimate for me on his portable printer right during our meeting (no waiting!). We set a date for installation and Dave and his crew showed up on time, did a professional job, and cleaned up after themselves. Dave is quite personable, very detailed oriented and takes great pride in his work. His family has been in the business for many years. We are very pleased with the job and would use them again.

We called and made an appointment with the owner of the company. He came out with different tints and brochures. Got a quote right then and there. We were happy with the price it was competitive and we like to deal with people from our area.
