Great...we can see the yard again! Windows were filthy, inside and out, we've had many projects completed in the last year so it was overdue. Dave and his guy spent the entire day here, I walked him through at the beginning then headed off to work, and when I got home, they had just left. Got pretty dark by the end of the day, there were a few streaks on what were probably the last couple windows they did, which happened to be east facing so showed every little streak in the morning, but no complaints, wiped up with a dry cloth and it's amazing the difference clean windows make. Would've taken me 3+ days to do this amount of work.

The crew arrived punctually, were very friendly yet professional, and did an excellent job cleaning our windows. Although the cost after the Angie's List discount was comparable to or slightly higher than what we have paid to previous window cleaners, the outcome was much better. This company specializes in window tinting, and Mr. Oetzel was also very knowledgeable and helpful in explaining the benefits and limitations of some window film we were considering. I plan to use Sun Control again for future window cleaning.

Owner Dave responded very quickly to my purchase of the $99 Big Deal, calling within 24 hours. I explained over the phone the work I wanted done, and he provided me a quote for the additional windows I wanted washed, that were not covered under the special. We scheduled a date for the service. Dave and one of his workers showed up on time. I walked him around and showed him the work I wanted done. He explained that he could not wash the outside of my window in our two-story entry hall, as he could not stand on the pitched roof directly below it. I was disappointed, but understood. He worked quietly and quickly, working around me as I work from home. I asked him to try to wash part of the front of my house that is painted and he tried to but the stain wouldn't come off (it was mildew, and obviously not part of the window job I hired him for). He offered to paint it for me there on the spot if I could find some paint. He also offered to clean my chandelier hanging in my two-story foyer, and did a great job cleaning it, and did not charge me. Dave was friendly, completely professional, did a great job cleaning my windows, and the work he did was above and beyond (with cleaning my chandelier and offering to paint a part of the front of my house that was stained) the job I hired him for. Would definitely hire him again.

I spent $99 for the Angie's List deal (which included 10 windows) and paid $150 extra, money well spent. This was the first "special deal" that I purchased from Angie's list. The reason I chose the company was because of the excellent reviews. Dave and Xavier did a wonderful job on my windows. They sparkle! The men came on time, Dave gave me a quote on the extra work I wanted and they did a thorough job. They even cleaned my screens as an added bonus. Both men were neat and clean and so was the truck, something I do pay attention to in a contractor, as it speaks volumes! Would highly recommend this company and will use again.

I complicated their start time by an unanticipated meeting with my schedule. They stayed to complete the job the same day, working into the night. There were a few streaks, but after I called them regarding the matter they were out the next day to fix the issue. They were very professional and extremely responsive. I would highly recommend them and will use them for future window cleanings.

Great Service with a Great Attitude. It is very refreshing to do business with a company that is really committed to customer service. Dave (the owner) was very accommodating with having to reschedule because of Hurricane Sandy this past week. He was very attentive with my email requests. Also, he advised me of an Angie's List "special" that he was running which saved me significant $$$.

Owner was friendly and professional. He was unable to -erform work on original date but was able to come the next day and did a good job.

Based on Dave's positive reviews on Angie's List, I sent Dave an e-mail first thing on Monday morning. He called less than an hour later and we set an appointment for 1pm that same day. He was right on time, looked at the job, measured the windows, and provided me with some great advice; no high pressure sales. He offered to leave samples of the options for my wife to look over. By 2:30pm I had a written estimate in my e-mail with a price I was very happy to receive. We had to double check some measurements but, once we got that sorted out, I hired him. He scheduled the job for 8AM Wednesday of that same week. He and a helper showed up at 8am on the dot. They installed the film and cleaned up after themselves. I came home at lunch, inspected the work, and found no problems. I wrote them a check, got my warranty paperwork handed to me, and they were down the driveway before noon. I have never had an easier interaction with a contractor. THANK YOU DAVE!!! Dave had the job done before some of the other installers I called had even gotten around to returning my message.

We needed window tinting and after calling and looking into several options, I chose to go with Dave at Sun Control Specialists. From the minute I contacted him I knew I had made the right choice. He was so friendly on the phone and was able to get out and give me an estimate right away. He brought all of the products to my house to show me and went over exactly what he thought we would require for each window. We didn't end up doing anything for several months but when I contacted him again last week, I once again knew it was the right choice. He was able to get out right away and this time took my husband through everything. He gave us advice and his professional opinion (which we really needed) and after we decided which windows we were going to have tinted, he jumped right on it then and there. I didn't have to worry about schedule another appointment to have it done or being home for yet another service call. We are THRILLED with our new windows! It has reduced the glare on the TV and eliminated the rays that damage floors, carpets, etc. I wish we had done this when we first moved in! Thanks, Dave, I will absolutely be using you again!

End of conversation Sun Control is the best. On time, on target, just plain nice people. They cleaned all our windows... made them look new. They also did tinting which looks awesome and was applied perfectly. Call them... you will not go wrong.

All I can say is he came a cleaned all the windows. They have not been cleaned on the outside in manm many many years.I will do this again.

They were punctual, pleasant, and did a thorough job. The owner honored the deal even though I called them after the expiration date. I would recommend them and use them again.

BEST EVER.............I had my South windows tinted 9 years ago by another company. I could not find their information and used Angie's List to lead me to Dave who called back promptly. I had to replace one window sash recently. That sash was tinted and I needed tinting for a small window replacement. I went to Home Depot and they did not have what I needed. When Dave called back he was more than willing to help me and will come out, when he is in the area to tint this one small window and leave me an extra piece of material in case this happens again. Thanks Dave for your professionalism, kindness and responsiveness to my needs.

They were wonderful and easy to have in the house and did an excellent job on my windows. I have a large Victorian house with many old windows with bulky storm windows and several delicate leaded windows. All storms were removed and cleaned including all screens. My home is 3 stories high, so some windows were hard to reach.

Very nice serviceman (I believe he was the owner of the company). He responded promptly to set up an appointment. I felt very comfortable with him in my home and he did a great job cleaning my windows!
