G Fedale Roofing & Siding

WARNING: Read this if you are thinking to hiring the G. Fedale company. I hired G. Fedale in July 2021 to renovate the entire exterior of my house including a new roof, new siding, new exterior stone masonry, new gutters and downspouts. I contracted with them to do the entire exterior work specifically so they can coordinate proper sequence, scheduling and proper fitment of all the materials together. It has been 18 months since G. Fedale started the renovation, and their horrible workmanship has created many serious problems, here are just a few of them: •The new roof G. Fedale installed now leaks in 3 areas. •It took G. Fedale four months just to start the roof installation leaving the bare wood roof sheathing exposed to the weather. This resulted in massive flooding in the house, 6” of standing water in the crawl space that now developed into a serious mold problem. •The workmanship on everything is absolutely horrible. G. Fedale left large gaps in the siding and in the trim, there are permanent glue and caulk stains and scratches all over the new roof, and the on the new siding. •It took them almost a year to complete the siding work and house stood exposed to elements, preventing the finishing of the interior work. •First G. Fedale ran out of siding material, than they ordered the incorrect size siding to complete the work delaying the job for 9 months. •G. Fedale left construction debris scattered around the jobsite for months, they left shingle and siding pieces on the roof for over 10 months. I had to pay others to take construction materials off the roof. •They damaged shrubs in the yard that were not even that close to the house by throwing construction materials off the roof on my plants. •The dumpster truck that G. Fedale hired ran into and damaged the existing Belgium stone border in my driveway and G. Fedale refused to repair it. The biggest problem is that the roof now has multiple leaks. As a result of roof leaks I have drywall damage, wet insulation and potential structural wood damage . The roof leaks have developed into a very serious mold problem in my house. I had an independent mold remediation company come out last week and they confirmed that the mold problem is caused by the leaks in the roof . The mold has now severely affected my health and I am now unable to work and unable to live in the house. I have significant medical expenses due to mold toxicity and mold remediation. Mold cross contaminated new duct work, new registers and diffusers. I have pictures, videos and full documentation if you would like see how horrible the damage is. Feel free to contact me.
