They did an awesome job. The openers that we chose were super quiet, since our garage sits beneath three bedrooms, and we wanted operation of the doors to be as quiet as possible. Justin and his team were friendly, prompt, and skilled in their service, and took the time to explain everything in detail and go over programming instructions clearly. Yes, the openers were a bit on the pricy side, but we wanted to go with them after reading several independent reviews on multiple sites. We felt that the cost was a good investment for the home, and with the level of service we received from this team, we are very satisfied that the workmanship was excellent, and that our choice to go with them for this service was absolutely the right choice. We are going to be considering new garage doors in the near future, and will definitely be contacting EZ Garage Doors to have them come out and help us again!

Went smoothly. Everyone I spoke to from the first phone call to the installer....were professional and courteous. Arrived on time. Spent time to explain the key pad and how to change code. Would definitely recommend.

I had known about EZ Home Exteriors through my prior employer, a property management company, which used this company for several roof replacements in Brentwood. The owner, Brien Murphy, met me to provide the initial bid and was very prompt and attentive to my questions. He provided a competitively priced bid. They began work a little over a month after we signed the contract and were done in 2 days. When asked, Brien came out and inspected the final product with me, answering the questions I had. I plan to hire this contractor again.

We purchased an AAmar garage door from EZ about 5 or so years ago. They had the best price, we compared several companies. During other construction on our house a construction worker backed a dump truck into our detached garage. this caused the garage door to go out of alignment. We called EZ and they came out a few times and adjusted the door for us. Even though it was several years after the door was installed they charged a minimal fee and came right out to make sure the door was aligned.

It's been approximately six months and my garage door continues to work wonderfully. I have used this company before at a different address and also had a wonderful, hastle-free experience. They are professional, polite and prompt! Great experience overall. I would definitely recommend!!

We reused a window that we removed downstairs for a kitchen remodel and decided to add a new window in 1 of the bedrooms. Scheduling took a while where I had to follow up 2 times with the main office to get the window guy to get me on his schedule. After got by that hurdle it was easy. He came out the week prior to look at the new location for the window to see what he might run into while cutting into the wall and exterior. Followed up with a schedule appointment the following week. After the marked out the window location they had us confirm that it was were we wanted before they started cutting into the wall. Got the hole cut framed out and window installed in a few hours. They did a good job, cleaned up and move furniture back to where it was previously. I would use them again in the future if I had the need.

The installers arrived within the estimated time. We are very pleased with the installation, their professionalism and work ethic. We also will be having a new Provia front door installed in a few weeks. Justine, Brian and Amanda were wonderful to deal with through our process of choosing the type of doors, color etc.. Wish we would have had the work done sooner. EZ Home Exteriors and Garage Doors are A+.

The garage door would not open. I thought it was something due to the work, but it wasn't. I noticed the wood at the bottom of the garage door got warped and got stuck on its way up on the sides of the garage door. He came out to take care of the problem and he pointed out that it was the warped wood. It was not due to the bolt that he fixed. I apologized and in fact, I am going to have him do more work for me and change the warped panel and replace it with a new one.

Provided the most expensive quote of the 5 bids I received. Being the 4th company to give me a quote I knew the Garage doors I wanted were on sale through April. Due to the sale, 12.9 R value doors cost the same as the 6 R values. He wanted $200.00 more for the better 12.9 R value doors even though they would have cost him the same.

They were responsive and prompt when setting up an estimate. Very informative with the estimate and did not try to sell me the top of the line or most expensive option. Answered all my questions and did not treat me like an idiot. They showed up as promised, worked quickly and professionally and cleaned up well. The installer gave me verbal instructions on maintaining the door, even though they are written out in the manufacturer's literature. They installed all new tracks and I opted for the torsion spring. The new door is quieter than I imagined a garage door could be, and they didn't even install a new opener. My old was was still working. So far, so good. If any problems arise, I'll update; but I really don't expect any.

The owner came to my home with all the information that I needed and helped me select the appropriate door. He was very professional and personable and guided me through the decision-making process. The actually installation was done a few weeks later in a very efficient manner, all cleaned up afterward, and given information by installer about how to care for the door. I definitely would use them again.

We shopped around at several different companies and they seemed the most knowledgeable and willing to work with us on the price since we were getting two large items. They were very responsive and professional from the beginning to the install. They did need to come back for a slight adjustment on the garage door but they were there the very next day. I would use them again without hesitation.

Went great. Installed two garage doors in one day without any delays for my tenants. Using them again on a couple of projects I have scheduled for 2015

They did a great job! The garage door is higher quality, better insulated than what was originally there. Tim from EZ did a 1 year tune-up today ($0). He was very knowledgeable with respect to its adjustments etc. I am a repeat customer of EZ; they also installed my front storm door. I plan to use them in the future.

We had a leaky, very steep roof, that luckily only had a single layer of shingles on. The house had been poorly maintained, and the roof was the first in a series of Money Pit like escapades. EZ Home Exteriors managed to actually make me feel comfortable with the process and helped me understand their bid, which wasn't the lowest I got but was definitely the best explained and most professional. They came when they said, it took an extra day or two due to the crazy steep pitch on the roof, but it was well done and exactly what I'd hoped for a price I could afford. I liked them so much I hired them again a few months later to put on a new garage door, and then two years later (2008 or so) to put new vinyl siding on. Again, the same professional, thorough, quality work for competitive prices. I ended up going with a different (cheaper) contractor to put new siding and roof on an addition on the back of our house, and regretted it for several years of attempting to get the other contractor to fix their mistakes. I should have just hired EZ again, it was not worth the few hundred dollars "saved". I didn't have an Angie's membership at the time (don't even know if Angie's list existed in 2006), but I'm leaving a review now because I find myself buying a new house that needs a lot of work, and as I'm trying to sort out contractors, I find myself adding them to the top of the list because of the positive experiences I've had in the past, hoping they'll travel the farther distance. The name is a bit cheesy, but their work has definitely stood the test of time.

Guys were professional and did great work. We needed the doors installed before a 4th of July party and they responded quickly and got the job done.

EZ responded promptly to our call for an estimate. Once we decided to proceed, they promptly forwarded the work orders, and scheduled the work in a reasonable time. I made an error in reading one of the work orders, and as a result, they did not install the windows that I wanted in the garage doors. It was clearly my error. However, they offered to order the correct windows and re-install. My husband was not satisfied initially with the seals around the doors, but the installers addressed his concerns. Overall, we were very satisfied with the results and the value.

Brian was the owner that came out to give us an estimate and his pitch was good. Quality double pane windows, gas injected, low-e coating, each sash folds in for cleaning, and screens are included. We had them ordered with an expectation of about 4 weeks for fabrication and delivery. Brain told us that his window man, Kurt, would be out to measure. Kurt is fantastic at his job! He had all of our windows measured up in 10 minutes and assured me that any details that he and I discussed he would deliver. We had been looking at a couple glass block windows for the basement as well. I had a few quotes from other providers, but since we were so impressed with EZ's service thus far we asked them to price match, and they did! Unfortunately, their glass block guy is not Kurt. I had been waiting for a call from the glass block installer to get measurements and I did not receive any call. I called their receptionist, Amanda (super helpful), who told me that they had already been measured. I knew this was not the case because our basement window is an odd measurement and would require the use of a 2" block instead of the 4" blocks. So when the installer came, he came with the wrong size and had to go back to fabricate the appropriate size. This miscommunication is why I gave a B for responsiveness. Later Kurt and his team of installers, 5 total, came at 7:30 sharp and got to work. They removed all the windows and any damaged outer sills. While Kurt and 4 installers removed and installed windows the other guy was working on cutting trim in the truck the whole time. It was impressive to see them all work so efficiently. No time was wasted with them coming in and out of the house grabbing freshly cut trim and caulking all the seams. The last window to arrive was our bay window. This came as a solid unit and is beautiful. The team was cleaned up and out of there by 2:30pm. They cleaned up and took all the old windows with them. Very impressed with the quality of the product and craftsmanship of the installers. Replacing the old single pane windows with the new stuff has made a big difference in the house by making things quieter and the AC does not have to run as long. Thanks EZ!
