 + -1 moreGave Joe several days notice that we would be in Erie this weekend. He called and said he would be out either Sat. or Sun. He never showed up. I called him on Sun. 10/29/17. Left message on his phone, he never called me back.
Description of Work: Called Joe to pick up bag of paint chips he left in my brother’s basement. The bag is so heavy and we can't lift it! My brother is recovering from health care issues at my home in Ohio. His home is in Erie Pa.

 + -1 moreNot good! I have called Joe on several occasions when we were in Erie to come and pick up a bag of paint chips and materials he left in my brother's basement. Now today Sept. 25th. 2017 I have called him two times to set up a time on Oct. 10th to come and get trash. He will not return my calls. The bag in the basement is too heavy for me to lift. I called Joe a couple times when we were in Erie prior to this and he didn't return my calls either. Would not recommend Joe he is totally unprofessional!
Description of Work: Joe came to paint my brother's basement. Before he could paint he needed to scrape the paint off the walls. He did that and did some repairs to the walls. He was paid the amt. of $500. This was half the agreed amt. for the job. In the meantime my brother was hospitalized and Joe could not come and paint the day he wanted to. My brother lives alone in Erie Pa. He is now recouperading at my home in Oh. I

 + -1 moreThe provider was prompt and courteous and completed the job in a timely fashion. The provider kept the work area clean and disposed of all waste properly. The price for the job with in-line with the estimate. We will definitely use this provider again for future jobs and I highly recommend this provider to friends and family.

 + -1 moreJoe was extremely prompt in coming to look at my projects and in giving me estimates. His estimate was far below any other I received, and he started the work promptly as well. His work is impeccable and the jobsite was as clean when he left as it was when he arrived. I have had him do numerous projects for me, and every time I receive this same amazing service. I have had a lot of work done in my houses in the past, and Joe is definitely the most reasonable price wise, the most "no nonsense" in general, and provided the promptest service of anyone. I would recommend him for any job without hesitation.
Description of Work: Joe has done numerous projects for me, including drywall repair, hanging things, fixing a large bush that had fallen over, and putting up a pool fence.

 + 1 moreJoe Behr's work is exceptionally good. His education and work experience has been as an engineer. He has taken all these skills to his new business. Joe is precise and profession; and,will not settle for doing anything but the best work. He arrives when he promises to; and, works steadily without needing supervision. I trusted him completely to have a key to the house when I was unable to be there. Joe worked so carefully on the flooring and left so little waste, I was able to return 2 unopened boxes to the store for a refund----(the store had initially sent one of their employees to do the measurements). I plan to call on his expertise once again within the next 3-4 months, as my list of home renovations grows.
Description of Work: Joe installed vinyl flooring and wooden trim on 2 floors of my home.

 + 1 moreI am BEYOND THRILLED with our new flooring. It looks amazing, and Joe was meticulous about putting it in just right. I'm so happy we found Joe to do our new install for us. He was professional, prompt, courteous, and an extremely hard worker. He was diligent about taking care not to damage our things while he was working and made sure he cleaned up any construction mess before he left for the day. He was meticulous about making sure that the flooring went in properly, even in the difficult spots where previous work made his job harder. He gave us an estimate that the job would take 2.5 days, and he was exactly right. He also gave us the right estimate for the amount of materials necessary for the job, so we didn't have to worry about having too much or too little.
Description of Work: Since we discovered Joe this summer, we have called on him for a host of different projects, from "fix-it" stuff that I couldn't do myself, to plumbing jobs, to installing our new laminate flooring. For our flooring project, we had Joe extend the Pergo laminate we had installed in our kitchen and hallway last year, running it into our living and dining room, and I have to say Joe did a much better job laying the floor than LakeFront Flooring, who did the original job. We hired Joe to take up our old carpeting and lay the laminate flooring. He bundled the carpet neatly and even took it away for us when he found out that our garbage service most likely wouldn't take it for us. He also timed the job so that the first day he removed the carpeting, and then finished the living room on day 2, leaving just the hall/closet for day 3. This meant that no real edges were exposed overnight. Also, when he pulled up the carpet, he noticed signs of moisture near our sliding door, so he pointed it out to me and made sure to caulk well around the door before installing the flooring. Joe does EXCELLENT work at REASONABLE prices and is also a stand-up guy. Now I know if we have a repair issue that needs to be addressed, Joe is the guy to call! So glad that we found him! I have him on Speed Dial! ;)
